Conquest: Galactic Scheme's

*Kij shakes his head as he wags his finger*

"No, no no... Bothawui is secure. One of the most secure planets along the border territories shared with the CIS."

*He pauses, seeing if Saltik can guess before he mentions the true goal*

"what then? Tranportation.... or is this something that requires a bit more.... discretion.... If so then maybe we should wait for the FULL mission, until I arrive, the less possible leaks in such a case the better" Saltik said.

*Kij turned, and got a huge chest from off screen*

"Bothawui is where you and your full smuggling fleet will meet me, and trust me Captain, this is the score of a life time."

*Before the holo powered down, Saltik got a glimpse into the chest. It was filled with armor and gadgets.*

The Score of a Life time.... so much to do.... so much to do... starts feeling like he could use 2 more of himself.....

So back to the argument, if you guys could so quickly come up with the main issue of the thing is the Providence showing up AFTER the fact, then clearly one of our crew would have said something similar and we wouldnt have done something so obviously "foolish".

I mean if this had anything to do with something we didnt know now all of a sudden cropping up then I could see this, but something obvious like.. hey maybe we should have the providence come in WITH the convoy instead of after... would be an obvious... Oh ya, ok lets do that instead....

The main crux of the plan is still there, my ships come in showing friendly, his comes in behind shooting at me, the CIS fleet "saves us" my ships go down and pick up the goods and they come back up, the ship that brought them in, brings them out... job done...

Edit: also to alieviate even more of these... I have droids that can operate the ships like droids would...

So basically to hit all your points Sil, a bit cleaner

1. Morale means if there is an obvious flaw in the plan they would have fixed it, like the Providence warping in AFter the fact

2. That's easily explained away in the case when it warps in WITH the convoy that the other ships were destroyed, the Munificents arent that tough,

3. As I said before you see the big ship they see if they didnt properly scout the area then they are backing off pretty soon. To top it off if they are this deep in, you can usually by them not having scanned the area this far in...this would be INSANE to attack such a fortified area, so these "pirates" didnt do their homework, but arent stupid enough to stick around for a suicide mission.

4. Of course I have droids, so Droids operate the ships like droids operate ships...

5. The ship could be slightly damaged in the escape and the T-series was destroyed in that process... yes I am suggesting the Providence get HIT by the persueing pirate fleet and damaged... you know to sell the whole "we are being attacked"

Question: does the CIS recognize Saltik's crew as the perpetrators of that other raid? I mean your ship identified itself then later betrayed the fleet... I could be wrong though, I'm just asking. If that is the case then a reversal of roles might be prudent, leaving the CIS to think that Saltik's guys are the enemy also gives him credibility with them.

Of course I might be entirely wrong about all this as I had trouble wrapping my head around all the proposed changes in the plan and the like especially since it is a bit late in the evening for me...

Ok the other one was simple. My guys DIDNT betray them, they never opened fire except from the inside of the Providence which would not have been known about. 20 of the ships 100% bought that I was on their side. To top it off part of the after the fact Maintanence of the situation included reporting those old ships as stolen, pre-crime and these new ships all have fresh new tags and the cover story is intact.

That's the point of the cover story, my character and my crew is capable of shuffling numbers around, shuffling ID's around to make it so their ships ALWAYS pop up as green, unless the person is intimately familiar with the Black Market.

None of the ships from the Tatooine Incident have even been reported stolen yet, so nothing even pops up on that incident for Trench yet.

edit: We even contacted the CIS fleet saying those darn pirates had another fleet waiting they got away with the cargo.... so my "company" never betrayed any one, yes there were 5 cargo ships that "suspected something" that got away, but they never had PROOF of anything.

The issue I see with the droids Tune is that they are merely battle droids, not pilot droids. The main crux of the problem with B1's was the inability to put much programming in them without making them too expensive. Pilot droids are a variant of OOM droids, which are superior to the B1's that you have.

Tell That to Beni... I can link you several Clone Wars episodes that have droids with Antanea flying the ships.. they are the B1's as the OOMs dont have those sticking out of their backs... I could also link you to some points in Episode 1 that have B1's operating the ship in areas....

Edit: they suck at that job, but they still preform it....and honestly, I am not asking htem shoot anything with any kind of efficiency, in fact sucking at their job just makes everything move more swimmingly....

Edit 2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YZ9jgsaM2qg

as you can see the first one has droids with the antanae, and the RotS one has them with out, the first is B1's then Second are OOMS....

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2OTHjSG61SI B1's operating a ship.... sorry the clearity is terrible...

Some wuestions:

1. Does Ordo have any production capabilities?

2. How long will it take Ayan to arrive at Metalorn?

3. Is me assuming that there is a battle between the sith empire and old republic at metalorn correct?

1.Probably not but you can erect some building to start production.

2.He will have you arrive in tomorrow update.

3.He said the Sith Empire isn't at war with anyone their having a Military build up at the moment.

1.Probably not but you can erect some building to start production.

2.He will have you arrive in tomorrow update.

3.He said the Sith Empire isn't at war with anyone their having a Military build up at the moment.

1. Correct

2. Correct (unless you will be active in 6 hours. Time for me to rest. But when I wake up, 2 hour window for changes) *Trying not to stay up past midnight talking to players about stuff so I am not so tired*

3. Correct. The Old Republic is more focused on the GE and while always monitoring the SE, are not currently engaged. The reason why so many are fighting the GE (Ask Karadron...) is because they control the entire Core. At this point the GE is fighting over half of the galaxy... And winning. No spoilers as to why, though. :jawa_evil:

I am going to head to bed soon, but if you guys send me lists of what you wanted to get done today, but didn't I can take care of it solo soon after I wake up before the update, as long as nothing is too complicated or requiring multiple people. Some things might just be summery though, such as negotiations, but the out come will have been the same as it would have been before.

I know it loses quality when done so, but it is a chance for those of you I was unable to focus on today a chance to keep going at a good pace without slowing. Don't worry though, I am working with Tune to make his plans much quicker, as well as starting to mesh with you guys as to get it done more efficiently. Once we all understand how it all runs and such, while I am willing to answer all questions, I feel that the smoothness will skyrocket.

*Week 5*

Results of Week 4:

"Salty's" Freighter's and Soldiers Co.: Scouted nearby systems and accepted new contracts.

The Galactic Inquisition: Has peacefully gained the alliance of Onderon, but rejected by Yaga Minor and Bilbigri.

Mando Werda: Deployed a team to Wroona to open negotiations for business arrangements. Sent a fleet to Nkllon.

The Farewell Coalition: Liberated Gall and searched for another fight instantly. Constructed an Academy.

Rising Republic: Completed Negotiations with the people of Eriadu.

Ordo Kote: Gained control of Ordo, and at risk of re-igniting a war.

Skill points Earned:

"Salty's" Freighter's and Soldiers Co.: +5 (For negotiations, building, and the heist)

The Galactic Inquisition: +5 (For deep investigation of Ord Mantell, and for seeking allies in nearby systems)

Mando Werda: +2 (For sending ships to begin business.)

The Farewell Coalition: +5 (For teaming up with Salty for a heist)

Rising Republic: +5 (For successfully negotiating a peace with the people of Eriadu)

Ordo Kote: +3 (For taking Ordo as their HQ, and setting off towards Metalorn)

Outcomes:

The Heist of Ryloth: Strangely enough the plan went according to plan and while the pirates held their breath at times, they managed to pass right by Admiral Trench's flagship. Though, they got the feeling something was terribly wrong, none fired on them. On the bridge of the CIS flagship however, Trench was puzzling over a couple of oddities about this recently arrived convoys. So few ships to protect the transports, and the T-series missing, among others... Interesting... It did not take long for the transports to fill. Curious as to the inconsistencies, but not wanting to waste CIS assets, Trench came up with an idea. He had one of the many tri-droids in his hanger discretely lead a fly by pass with other tri droids already patrolling the area, but this one, dropped a tracking device right behind the bridge where it would be hard to detect. Then, he allowed the ship and its transports to leave. He debated with himself about having some of his own ships escort the Providence, but his gut feeling was that doing so would be unwise...

The hand off will take place where it was prior planned to, which my plan as Sil knows was to return to your system where I left my main cargo ships. they were slower so I can load my goods onto those and you pick the ones off of mine. After that I am headed off for OTHER business, which again was pre-planned. Just cus I got a tracking device, Im not altering my plans... I may very well end up going to my Shipyard that I was talking about, but I may not... I have a lot of jobs to take care of, some I may or may not bring other people in on... we will see.

The planets were Lok,Llanic,Farstine,Socorro and Nelvaan.

Lok: Barely populated, no one in control.

Llanic: Controlled by the Zann Consortium, and unwilling to have a new master.

Farstine: Oddly independent, it is a sanctuary world for those wishing to trade from both the Republic and CIS.

Socorro: Another underworld haven, also controlled by the Zann Consortium.

Nelvaan: Tribal and primitive, none are able to respond to any messages from star ships.

Jaron's, PM me your current finances *due to new day* and what it will be after the research center is built. A recipe, if you will. :p

Side Note: All of you should start getting your Agendas for the day in order. Until then, going to go relax a bit.

Done I am going to send a Convey to Farstine to sell 5,000 metal so it will increase my credits.

I want to send a messag to Farstine later and a diplomat to nelvaan down to the planet to talk to a chieftain asking for permission to build a base on their planet
