Faulhaber Posted January 11, 2015 Share Posted January 11, 2015 Yes it's improving a lot. It's becoming a little more blatant the abuse of lag switches. Today for a couple of matches in Huttball I've seen different players turning on packet drop, turning on speed increase cheat, crossing acid pool, turning off speed cheat, turning network packets back on. I believe this is bypassing any speed check in game. I don't know why match people with such packet network discrepancies with others with more statistically normal packet behavior. Put them in a special and totally secret queue and only match them together. Cheaters must play only versus cheaters. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Just a few hours after my OP the lag came back in pvp for all of the people I was playing with... /sigh What ever you did to fix it... dragospastiu Posted January 11, 2015 Share Posted January 11, 2015 The lag/ability delay has become better, just like when you wear a pair of shoes that are too small for you and they hurt you like hell, but after two weeks you don't notice the pain so much and think they actually fit you. They said they added more instances... I know that was for planets... But it seemed to have affected pvp too when they did this... Coincidence??... Sure it might be... But they did say they have been doing stuff in the background to alleviate the lag issue... All I was saying was "if" they changed something it made it worse...
