Vanguard Explosive Round bugged?

Isnt Explosive Round Supposed to hit several targets? In PvP i have at several occasions tried to interupt 2 or more people trying to cap a objective, but it only hit the one i targeted.

Was there a clear line of sight on the objective? There have been situations where the nodes act as buffers against aoe damage if your attack hits one player and another capping it is on the other side.

IIRC the tooltip now says the Aoe splash is Standard + Weak enemies only i.e. only during levelling

Oh did they change this? I should look once I login. I know the knockdown was for standard/weak. But removing splash damage seems silly.

Yeah apparently making it so the ability had use made it too stronk and needs nerf.

The damage was increased to make it more usable.

 

Due to being non-rotational, instant, 30m it has a poor damage/cost value. Or we'd always use it.

Yes the damage is definitely a lot better, especially on the splash damage.

 

Out of curiosity when 3.0 dropped I made a Trooper and using it on Ord Mantell mob packs was actually very successfully. Where previously it used to do something like 70dmg to the main target and about 7 dmg as splash, it was now doing roughly 50dmg as splash, still with the full main target dmg

oh well then i guess i can remove it from my quickbars. I only used it to interupt capping in PVP. And now i read the part about Standard and weak enemys :S Thank you everyone.
