Emperor_Troll
Simply put, the Shadow of Revan expansion has opened the door to a third playable faction. There would be tremendous pve and pvp gameplay benefits in doing so, and undoubtedly create stronger retention for players. All the bare bones stuff (lore, classes and npc characters) are in place to make this a seamless and sensible addition now. Imagine this (oversimplified idea description below) for the next expansion or near future update... -Order of Revan controlled planet, bases of operations and fleet. -Faction change missions. -Pve missions against Republic and Imperial factions. -Cross server open world pvp with objectives for 3 factions (see gw2 world vs world gameplay). -Cross server warzones for 3 factions. -All the other normal fluff such as new gear, creatures, yadayada... Krimlord
It wouldn't happen for the reason that you cannot revive a dead faction.

Way wrong man, how many times in SW lore has the Sith order been revived? At least 4-5 by my count and I have limited EU knowledge so the actual number could be higher. Zadtro
Love it!! But it has a few problems lore wise and not enough people play the game. Would have been fun to have had a choice to take down Revan by pretending to join him or full assault. Being a double agent causing all the mischief would have been fun

Thoughts:rak_02: It would've been the opportune moment to introduce a 3rd faction just using the existing AC just different abilities obviously, you can only select the faction once completing a lvl 60 character and you unlock that type of character on the revanite side. Kraytose
not enough people play the game. Unfortunately, this is why it won't happen. It is a good idea though. Kind of like have a Death Knight on WoW.
SgtJeremy
Never gonna happen, the closest we'll get is dressing up like Revanites. Which from an immersion stand point is pretty strange in of itself Lol. But I digress.
Koichi
Won't happen, sadly. Unless Diseny pops in says "Assuming Control" and demands it, we aren't going to see it.

Kraytose
Not really, deathknightsvstill had to pick if they were Alliance or Horde. Hence the kind of. They could add Revanite as a playable class perhaps... But then they would have to make completely new story missions for both sides and new instances on every planet. So most likely a nope on this one. Unless of course they just make them start at level 50-60 just like how Death Knights start at a certain level.
