  1. Centuries before she's born? Senya said Valkorion had changed though. He was kind, benevolent, until the kids were born. And turned into a monster. I suppose you can say he abandoned his identity it's just like he is only known as Valkorion now. Like tenebrae doesn't exist. Only Valkorion. And yet he was called Tenebrae by his father.
  2. This is the problem with 'Valkorion being gone' Valkorion WASN'T Vitiate/Tenebrae because he was once Valkorion a "Great Warrior" but became hollowed out by the Emperor. Theory of this was that Valkorion and Vitiate were two aspects of himself like what happened with Revan. But I suppose not. Everyone doesn't recognize him as vititate nor Tenebrae just Valkorion. And intimately. His family despising Valkorion and treating him like a traitor to their family but technically Tenebrea corrupted Valkorion and took him over. If he took over the outlander would he just be the outlander even if he turned evil and we had a new chapter to fight our outlander body taken over by Valkorion? Or would we call him Valkorion knowing it isn't us anymore. It's Valkorion. Or in Valkorion's case, it isn't truly Valkorion but it's Tenebrea. It would have been better to have more clarification in maybe releasing Valkorion's original spirit from Tenebrae for a final moment with his children and wife when struck down or at least make a mention of feeling his presence freed from Tenebrea to join the force. But nah. There's one problem. Vitiate's true original body in Tenebrae was never revealed and now that he's "Dead" it never will be?? What a wasted opportunity and it seems KOTFE just screwed things up so alot doesn't even make sense anymore. I would want to bring him back simply to show his true original form and that OG Vitiate voice eminating outward again. Just so that "Dark Void" part of him will be acknoweldged. Remember in the Revan book when his TERRIFYINGLY COLD MIND was seen by Scourge, and those chilling Black Voids he called eyes? We won't see that now. Do we want that?? Even REVAN was gonna restore vititate to his ORIGNAL BODY if I recall. What happened to all that?? Waste In any case. Most are tired of him and I get that. But it just feels incomplete and a complete mess now with wasted potential. Imagine if he did return we would finally see his more chaotic self instead of him just being your buddy manipulator, and he'd just mind dominate in one last desperate effort where we found his real body and finish him off. But oh well. Then we'd feel "Tenebrae's spirit fade" instead of "Valkorion's" when he TECHNICALLY isn't Valkorion truly. Not anymore. All this Valkorion crap just made him seem split in half, and inconsistent. Like he has a split personality.
  3. And yet in Knight's of the fallen empire he is only understood as Valkorion by everyone no matter what. And they all know it's the Emperor yet just call him Valkorion. But it is later revealed Valkorion was a "Great warrior" he hollowed out and took as his new vessel. And yet still everyone only considers him Valkorion, aside from his sith father who doesn't even call him viitate but tenebrae. We never even got the see his original sith pureblood vessel basically meaning Valkorion was all he was anymore. As if they're the same. Which is rather disappointing. I kind of would have prefered a realization Senya would have that Valkorion is no longer Valkorion and to "kill the imposter" or something, or what corrupted him and destroyed the man she knew since he wasn't always Tenebrae. But nope. The Sith Emperor is Vititate. He changed his mind and becomes Valkorion. And his original persona is practically forgotten.
  4. We graduated our story the top of our chain. Everyone bowing to us. In KOTFE and KOTET we were made to be shown as 'weak' compared to the Emperor's children and only defeated them because of help and getting force power from Satele/Marr to amp us up. So back in the start of KOTFE we were already weak seeming....... ever since after the original story we've kinda felt.... lame as a main character, TBH. Sure, we killed the Emperor, but that's largely because of that "kneel before the dragon of zakuul" trick, and we had help against Vaylin. Even Senya tossed us aside when we were about to fight Vaylin in KOTFE, tossed us like a weak rag doll and fought evenly when Vaylin..... WE were ragdolled by both children. On and on and on. Senya seems stronger at first. Also I know they are the emperor's children so of course they'd be strong as heck. But here's something also. The Sith Warrior defeated Darth Baras who was sucking power from a dark side entity to amp himself, and intimidated the dark council (aside from Marr I'm sure, but he didn't intervene) and Ravage refusing to stand in his path. Bowing to them, if they knew he was the "emperor's wrath" then technically the Warrior should be at least around equal to them. I don't think the Sith Warrior is SUPER strong or anything like some have, but it doesn't make sense if he was still way weaker than the dark council. Also fought the VOICE of the emperor with Sel freaking Makor who took over and was supposedly of similar power to the Emperor's voice. Or at least I thought so. I can't recall for SURE and I don't have the time to look it up as of right now. The Sith Inqusitor as an apprentice took out a champion Jedi Master back when he was an apprentice, darth skotia despite being damaged was still crazy since he was FRESHLY an apprentice then killing a Darth, later he also overpowered Darth Zash as an apprentice FRESHLY turned LORD. Blew up and took out Thanaton a bit later with ghosts amping him, and then later *****slapped Thanaton's lightning away casually in their final battle when he was raging, and wasn't even using his full ghost powers. Maybe not using them at all yet(No glowing eyes when he uses them) as I believe his normal power was used that power because of the Mother Machine fixing his body so his body could handle more power more easily. And then ONCE his eyes glowed he was using the stacked up Power to totally embarrass Thanaton. But even before the ghosts power he was already stronger than a Jedi master that many sith couldn't defeat let alone his master probably at the same time. Sorry I keep saying he, mine is male. Consolar and Knight are less of a focus but the Consular took out the Emperor's main child, and the Knight took out the "TRUE voice" of the Emperor. Meaning also super strong..... Meaning the Knight, Consular, Inqusiitor, Warrior have all dealt with Emperor related powers and even the Emperor himself in some way. In some cases his legit voice that the council members likely were afraid of.... So while I get that the Emperor's children are freaks of nature, so are the Player characters and it's sad to see them more and more get weaker and weaker seeming while supposedly being stronger. I will say with the inquisitor though since his ghosts aren't mentioned then canonically the only way is that they are gone and thus are not a factor anymore. Because he'd be too OP and not seem weak anymore. Maybe actually on Par... an actual threat. I mean the whole KOTFE AND KOTET they only call you "Father!" reffering to the ONLY threat in you which is not you at all, but the OP being in you because you are considered no concern to them. It's rediculous and funny how the whole time you're attacking them and they're attacking you, and you are calling them Arcann and Vaylin while they ignore you and focus on their Father only , brushing you under the rug like a mild inconvenience. Then you magically take them out later on. Like "See?? Stop saying your Father! I'm a threat too!" NOW we are back in the Empire..... and Republic. Which is cool. But.... Malgus has returned and his model is bigger than it use to be. Taller. Same with this other new Jedi being super tall on Ossus. And I imagine, as usual, they're super strong, maybe on par with us? We just killed the Emperor, even failing that, we "fought" the emperor, "fought" his children inside our mind. And now Darth Malgus as much as a 7 foot dinosaur of a sith as he is, is uh..... A serious threat to us? Are we not compatible to the emperor now? Or failing them, the Emperor's children let's just say.... More realistically. Since the Emperor in your head was also weakened. But we beat Vaylin and Arcann, potentially even both at the same time, in that mind zone, but Malgus seems to be in their league if not a bit stronger now. Hm?? Now I'm not so sure that makes any sense, see?? The power scaling and everything is just confusing and it's largely, i feel, to make us still not feel so strong. I mean even as a "Leader" in KOTFE and KOTET you don't make any Major decisions really xD Alot of times you're just a frontline fighter and that's it, and you listen to people, and rarely come up with ideas and when you DO they're all "WOAH this is why you're our leader" :rolleyes:but really you're just a figurehead not really a leader. You inspire people, but you don't technically give orders much.
  5. Although I highly doubt Bioware cares ... plus people always mentions the issues of making player characters smaller and dealing with their animations. Maybe having to make new ones. With NPC's still being so big for no reason? Uh Yeah, I definitely agree and see zero reason why we're .... made to feel small essentially. We defeated the freaking emperor for crying out loud. Lol Also. Malgus was male size 3 before, the bulkier tall size. His model is now towering that, way beyond player models. So .... They actually changed that I noticed. Made him the same size as when he was fighting you enhanced sized in the throne room. Kinda like with Revan being medium height normally, but then later on as a boss he is Malgus size. (NOT size 3, people keep thinking he's like 6'7 or something like darth malak but that was just game mechanics in his case, obviously) But yeah, I've found a female on KOTET Dromund Kaas who was about the same height as a male, and the male was even taller, like a size 3 male NPC and normal not muscular at all. I was like *** I have not found NPC's bigger than size 3 Male yet though, unless they're enemies sometimes yes. But that's nuts. Basically to think some NPC's are the same size as Wookies and Khem Val?? I admit that ruins immersion for me too. I just figure stuff like this will never be addressed because they just .... make the sizes all over the place and don't really care. :/
  6. BUMP THIS. I. MUST. AGREE. Verily so. MAKE IT HAPPEN Ordinary sith corruption is the only shadows on the face I can get that look halfway decent for males, and sith corruption is too much when I would rather it just more shadowy like that. WHY in the galaxy would they remove it??
  7. Some of us like playing Swtor but HATE grinding.. Not because we want it all now but because we don't have ages to spend on grinding forever. And some of us even get bored. Or might not even have all the time in the world. IN any case, it's why I don't do MMO's hardly ever. Grinding, grinding,. and more grinding. At least this game has Awesome Cut-scenes and such which makes great replay-ability.
  8. Wouldn't flagging and killing the infected Player just cause them to blow up and spread it to the attackers, though? Like the Boomer in Left4Dead2
  9. Or something a little more likely and that would take FAR less work could also be not a Voice Canger but a PITCH changer. So it's the same voices already recorded (because that'd be a huge amount of work to include more) but the pitch is changed higher to lower just like in Soul Caliber 4-6 Idk why they haven't already done that, honestly.
  10. Just saying. It's a VERY simple request. So I can match my Cathar's face. It always feels off that the hair can't match the color of the skin/fur when it's white. Nitpick perhaps but a pretty simple one for an OCD fix as well as character accuracy rather than just say he dyed his hair black for whatever reason. Or other colors. The very few options there are.
  11. The point is it's a twist. Also. We NEEDN'T mention that the Traitor was a female. As I said before it might NOT be the traitor since when she planted the device we were about to be sacrificed and when the device went OFF we suddenly woke up. This indicates that may not be the traitor. Still. Maybe it is ... what said person did helped us though so it makes no sense. We didn't do **** to free ourselves after all. Only the mysterious figure did something and we just 'coincidentally' woke up. Also. If it's close to us. It's a TWIST. That's the point. A twist. It would effect us. Impact. Twists are not really twists if it means nothing to us. Because no one cares. That's the point of Lana or Theron as the traitors. While it may not be true. From a writer perspective it's PERFECTLY reasonable. Were I in control, I WOULD do that because of the impact. It would cause so much talk and there's a variety of fun ways it would be handled. Something so unpredictable hasn't ever happened in Swtor in a long time. But unpredictable works! Predictability, at least at a certain point, kills the story gradually.
  12. Nope. They must be alive because Bioware needs them to betray you! Gotta dumb your character down so the plot can unfold and shock your character meanwhile facepalming the players with the obviousness! Like Scorpio all over again!
  13. Angry romantic torch wielding people might be the only issue. In which case, it's just cold feet... It's realistic that either Lana or Theron not support you if you're against and possibly going to finish off obliterating the remains of their respective factions. Whether they're a part of it or not, they still have some tug to it. With the respect they've shown to their own specific factions and wishing to support them as allies still. It's realistic but yes, anything that emotionally effects fans shouldn't be allowed. So basically it's the safe route. Likely scion related. No shock value.
  14. Not only does he have a gaping whole in him but you get the option to break his neck to quicken his death so if that's the case... That's one hell of a comeback.
  15. With regards to Vitiate- In this entire expansion he's been cast aside and considered Valkorion. But he ISN'T Vlakorion technically since he even spoke of him in the third person saying he was a great warrior he hollowed out. So Valkorion's soul is gone. Unless say, Vititate, absorbed him and became him in some weird manner in soul and body but corrupted and twisted. What about that Sith Pureblood Tenebrae? Will we never see him? If he ever does come back it will be some last desperation by his original vessel and by then he will be truly vulnerable because if he dies in it he is dead permanently. Otherwise. He's probably dead sadly, it's just... his shadow has been looming for so long I presume something at least connected to him will remain in some way. Other than that. Jadus will return with his "re-built army" finally and do whatever he intends. Taking this opportunity now that the Emperor is truly dead. He can reassert control. Perhaps through the Scions (I doubt it) or retaking the throne of the Sith Empire. Lana also appeared out of nowhere so she could be connected to him or something, as she mentioned him as a suspect when he's "long vanished or dead for so many years", why mention that? They even had the thing with Malgus before in carbonite so it's likely they've thought about it. They've even said Jadus was a huge favorite among the team and never actually said he was dead. Other than that. Just the most boring options probably. The Scions are the enemies and do some crazy ritual thing to kill you and turn you into a God or something and you need to kill them despite their "returning in your time of need and being your allies" and no one will care much. Oh! And theron knows something you don't. It's why the camera has been panning on him a little weirdly and his mother being mentioned. So Satele is obviously going to be involved at least in some odd way.
  16. It would be the boring and obvious option if you ask me. I just thought I heard the betrayal was suppose to be someone close to you?? If it's a scion no one will give a damn really... But it will be the safe route. It's more likely than the theory I proposed. Merely the theory I proposed would be far less lazy and surprise a lot of people and it would be a way to essentially bring us back to our roots.
  17. This whole time we've been taken out of the republic or empire sides in order to just be the Outlander. A potential ally or enemy of both simultaneously. It's strnage that they'd suddenly make you choose to join a faction: empire or republic, which no choice out of it. They're using it to set up a better reason for either Theron or Lana to betray you. Yes. They've starting working against you as a potential threat earlier on, but this will merely decide for the game which one it will be deciding two enemies you'll face and by contrast, two allies you'll have. This will pretty much tip them off to having to act now and take you out as an active threat once you've officially joined either side. You'll be allied with satele and theron if you joined the republic and have jadus and lana is your enemy with the whole mirrored "same thing happens to either one" type deal again like they just did earlier, making you join either Acina as an ally or enemy, or Malcon as an ally or enemy. It's the same formula again.
  18. Theory: Theron guided by Satele if you joined the Empire, Lana led by Jadus(he got mentioned as a suspect)*if you joined the Republic. It just occurred to me. People keep thinking one or the other but it may be one led by another, and it changing depending on your choices is why they had you pick a faction. Just no one has thought of this yet... This was my thinking: *theron looks over shifty camera randomly pans on theron* *theron's dad is involved and his mother was mentioned wow the forshadowing!* But then there's how Satele and Jadus both got mentioned as Suspects. Theron only fits for his mother, Lana if she betrayed only fits with Jadus as she mentioned him totally out of nowhere when he's been gone for years so what's the point. Valkorion mentions one of them will betray you for their factions.*Hmmm. Also. The figure is just to throw you off. That was scion sent to get you out of the trap you were already in since you were already about to be sacrificed until the figure's device went off and ironically woke you up. Helping you.
  19. ? AllowColorRemapping is already set to false. Wait... what do you mean about "add the line"? Checked the Link. - I love the bleached bypass look.
  20. Am I the only one who thinks SWTOR looks better set on low with low shadows added? It gives the most realistic feel and seems a lot more like star wars as would be expected from Kotor but better animation and such. Instead it seems like everyone either acknowledges super low (that it sucks, which I don't really like it either) or high(the glorified maxed out version) Sure, things are brighter but the reason I didn't like it was the colors just seemed too intense and cartoony compared to the softer grittier shaded look when set on low shadows and such. What does anyone think of the graphic settings? Anyone around who actually doesn't mind other settings than just ultra? It's amazing the different feel it can have when playing on a different setting. I do like both graphics but sometimes I just get tired of the bright intense colors of maxed out graphics and go for the softer more kotor realistic shading feel and color instead. So the characters are shaded but not all shiny skinned. Honestly though I DO like the glow effect it had and which the glowing light effects where optional for the low (Medium) graphics..
  21. I thought thexan was going to reach out to vaylin in ghost form at least since of they're bond... wasted opportunity I thought
  22. My neutral sith inquisitor chose to do that because he believes he can be a benevolent dictator. But a pragmatic one when need be, and he trusts no one in power but himself. Not to mention he use to be Sith and wanted to be emperor to reform the Sith Empire into a new pragmatic vision. But instead, he was disowned by the empire after 5 years(Pro Alien, no more war with the Republic). Wanting to still support and reform the empire but coming to turns slowly he inevitably just took the Zakuul thrown so that no idiot takes over turning it into another unstable empire after the onset of anarchy washes over. Absolute freedom is no better than chaos in his eyes, and this would be better in the longer term. Also what Jadus said, "They want what children want... unlimited freedom without responsibility." Does having Power always equate to Evil? Can a stable society exist without Order to give it function? Can a body thrive long without a head? While it often doesn't seem so, the logic is basically just a more "realism" way of thinking. I wouldn't call it Evil at all. Just different ways of enducing a change in the empire(whatever is thought best). What I am less confident about would be the speech though. It does insinuate yet another "Malevolent Dictator" mentality mostly. Perhaps that logic would be that only Fear could assure that people will stay in line(but that didn't' always happen .. with Arcann) Not exactly what I was going for, but oh well. I would go for a "I will rule and together we will survive, rebuild, and grow strong again." But hey "You've suffered the Eternal Fleet's rage. Watched cities fall. Friends die. In time, these wounds will heal... " Some actual sympathy ? "But the fleet is now MINE. You must never forget it's strength - and the fate that awaits anyone who challenges ME." The control through Fear tool .. the sympathy evaporated to make way for asserting self "Under my rule we begin a New Era in galactic history. The age of the Eternal Alliance" That part isn't so bad though since it's just speaking of change. Only thing is ... what will that change be? Can we actually decide? Kind of reminds me of Jadus really, or Malgus. It could be thought a lot that way. As it's done in the way that you may have good intentions, but the character will instill Fear as a tool to keep that control. It's very sithy, but not very jedi'like...
  23. The only problem with him wanting the Wrath or Jedi Knight's bodies is that the Jedi and Wrath force powers are far less advanced than the inquisitor and consular and they utilize their lightsabers way more. Vititate never utilized a lightsaber and when he did he sucked at it, preferring to use showers of sith lightning instead. Shown when we even play as him he plays as exactly a sorcerer. Swtiching bodies with the Sith Sorcerer would make a lot more sense in the body switching regard since Darth Nox and Vitiate were total mirrors of each other and it isn't the first time Nox has dealt with someone trying to steal his body. -Sith inquisitor absorbed dead ghosts for power(becoming unnatural), Vititate absorbed living people for power(becoming unnatural) -Vitiate is Emperor, Darth Nox wants to be new sith Emperor(but Kotet settles for Eternal Emperor), many dialogues about "I will become the Emperor" and "Vititate won't be emperor forever" kind of thing in the past. -Kallig says "One day you will rise and shake the Sith...I can feel it." And multiple sources in-story on his "bring the empire into a new age" -Nox was born a slave and quickly became a Dark Lord of the Sith, Vititate was a low born son who became ruler of homeworld -Nox is near-immortal physically do to being modified twice and having ghosts inside him that prevent him from death, Valkorion is immortal - Nox: "I've been long wanting to add your soul to my collection." Valkorion: "I would say the same." -Nox seeks immortality(SoR story mission) and found an ancient thing on it(if I recall taking to where eternal empire is), Valkorion sought immortality(body hopping) One would think that the Inquisitor would end up crossing with the Emperor here and the Emperor would take interest given the similarities. It could theoretically make sense. The only thing off is the Sith Warrior/Jedi Knight the martial warriors vessels being "favored" by Valkorion the sorcerer.
