EvenHardNiner
You do realise that me accidentally wiping a group in a flashpoint could constitute "interfering with the ability of others to enjoy playing SW:TOR" right? That's not the case, because wiping in a group flashpoint is an intended game mechanic. However if someone were to type /stuck in ranked warzones, that would be against the TOS. OddballEasyEight
Actually, YOU saying that people shouldn't be able to list items for whatever price they want is interfering with their enjoyment of the game. So stop it... it's against the rules!

EvenHardNiner
No it's not because a Seller can list any item they want for any price they choose and the buyer has a choice whether or not to buy said item. The seller has a choice in whether they want to trick other players. The buyer has no choice if they want to be tricked or not. Against the TOS , plain and simple. EvenHardNiner
No it wouldn't. /stuck is an intended command to be used in game. /stuck is a command intended to be used when your character is actually stuck in the game world. Deliberately typing /stuck in a ranked warzone so the other team can win (ie win trading) is against the rules. Just because you can do it, doesn't mean you should. Intentionally wiping a group in a FP to piss off 3 to 15 others is an intended mechanic and therefore OK ... but selecting an arbitrary price for an item on the GTN that you do not have to buy is against the rules because it impacts your enjoyment of the game? Come on. Try better than that.

No it cannot be, because the seller has the freedom to list items at w/e price he wants. Just like the buyer has the free choice to buy or not but those items. Ratajack
There may not be new evidence, but your statement of "end of story" implies that it has been settled. Clearly it has not. This subject and discussion will no go away until something is done about it. Blaming the buyer is not the answer. Further threads such as this are proof of that. Blaming the buyer IS the answer. The BUYER is at fault. The BUYER can change his/her behavior and actually start to PAY ATTENTION to what they are doing, what they are buying and the price they are agreeing to pay when they click the BUY button and then again when they click the CONFIRM PURCHASE button. The fact that the BUYER refuses to accept the truth does make it any less the truth.

You're not being forced or tricked into buying it. You are doing it on your own free will. People can be tricked, people may think they are buying an item for a low price, but because the way the numbers and the decimals are displayed on the GTN, they might accidentally but an item for a higher price. And it's obvious many people do this to trick people, especially with crafting mats
