Tanking PvP

So ler's try to make it clear for me, pls

 

1. Spec (all in ion+shield)
   
   • Full tank tree
     
   • AP
     
   • Hybrid AP + Tank
     

[*]Gear

• Heavy endurance + power/surge
  
• Heavy endurance + def/shiel/absorb
  

 

What spec is most optimal (and what ger aacording to this spec) for tanking (survivability mostly) in regs and ranked (yolo/group)

If you want to tank, not dps with survivability, it's full tank tree with end, sh, def.

So full tank better than AP + tank gear (shorter CD on shield, 30% less aoe and stun dmg) ?

 

Because, as far as i know, def and shiled not so good stats in pvp.

Run this build, with Endurance heavy Mods and Enhancements, with Fortitude Augs.

 

Focus on swapping guard, CCing those around your guarded target to provide an escape, and debuffing the enemy. Keep on taunts on CD.

 

Gear wise, drop all defense. I personally run the Relic of Fortunate Dedoubt and Shield Amplication, but I may be going back to Reactive Warding.

 

You may want to run a bit of defense, but with a Fort stim and the Fortunate Redoubt, I think I was at an 8-9% defense chance, where as my shield and absorb were around 42-43% chance.

Relics are reactive warding and shield amplification. The defense one is terrible for all three of the tank AC.
