Cjirucha Posted August 13, 2014 Share Posted August 13, 2014 I run carnage in PvP and I use power augments (overkill 28) since there is no reason to have the bonus to crit chance from strength augs and you are getting slightly more bonus damage with the overkill augs. In PvE, I use the might augments since I switch specs a lot. Honestly though, there is not much difference between the two. We are talking about a dps difference of maybe 2 dps (yes 2 dps!) haha. As you hit more DR from mainstat towards crit, you have to remember that said mainstat boost will be boosting more power. So 1 point of strength at 100 strength will get about the same crit benefits as 1 point of strength at 10000 So i'd just say Mainstat. Unless your a Jugg tanking in DPS gear, or a sage healer, in which case they have stats that are boosted by power but not by crit (Force armor, ect...)
