VanderII
I'd report that the workbenches in the VIP area don't work. When I click on workbench and I choose an object, the game crashes and it appears an error window which closes me the game. That appens only when I work on workbench located in the VIP area. Dev Post AmberGreen Posted November 13, 2013 Dev Post Share Posted November 13, 2013 We'll be keeping an eye on this to see if it's an issue exclusive to you or if others are seeing this as well when using the VIP Workbench! Have you attempted a repair on your launcher to ensure you don't have any file corruption? If not, please attempt that.
Marius_Xerxes
The workbench in the VIP area was not working for me either. Some details. Republic Fleet VIP bench on The Bastion server. When I would try and add an augment slot to a piece of gear, it would automatically close the drop down menu where it allows me to choose what level of augment slot I wanted to add (i.e. MK-1, MK-2 etc). So while adding a MK-1 slot would work, because it is the default choice, trying to add an MK-9 slot does not work as the menu would close automatically before I could select that level of augment. I tried all the other work benches in the Crew Skills area of the fleet, and they all functioned normally. Only the bench located in the VIP area had this issue. DogEyedBoy
I have the same issue as the above poster, both workbenches in the VIP area are unusable as they close their menu when selecting an augment slot level.

DVLots
I have also had the Workbench in VIP area not function. Yesterday on Jedi Covenant Server I attempted to augment a enforcer conqueror's bracers i selected it via drop down box from table. I went to select the kit i wanted to augment the bracers with an mk-9 kit when i got the windows screen saying the program had stopped performing. idnewton
Hmm... can someone give a summary of what's in the VIP area? Seems like it has everything from a GTN to a gbank to a mailbox. Are there any necessities it doesn't have? Might be worth buying the pass, or upgrading to the deluxe version (I guess you can't use collections on the pass, can you )
Glower
All within five meters spot: mailbox + guild bank + bank + gtn. Plus "workbench", one useless "VIP" vendor, one Collectors edition only vendor, two jukebox vendors, and jukebox Edited November 14, 2013 by Glower
Rizenfell
Hmm... can someone give a summary of what's in the VIP area? Seems like it has everything from a GTN to a gbank to a mailbox. Are there any necessities it doesn't have? Might be worth buying the pass, or upgrading to the deluxe version (I guess you can't use collections on the pass, can you ) The VIP contains as per the previous post. The sheer convenience of having mail|cargo holds|GTN|guild storage all within two steps of each other is awesome; as is the soon-to-be-working-we-hope workbench. And can sell trash items at the bar. Not sure what you mean by 'upgrading to the deluxe version', but the $4.99 "Digital Upgrade Pack" (link) will give each character and all new characters you create access to the VIP lounge; and is a great investment for someone who plays SWTOR a lot IMHO. (It also provides a speeder, flare gun, holocam, training droid for each character).
Khaleijo
Same issue here. I wanted to augment a relic in the VIP Area and it was not possible to choose the mk-9 because the dropdown menu closed instantly. I tested the work bench again with an earpiece and this time klicking on the dropdown menu caused a gamecrash without any error message. The old work benches worked without any problem, there i could augment the relic and the earpiece.
LordBrat
I'm having the same issue as well. VIP Item Mod Station on the Imperial Fleet, Harbinger Server. I'm not able to upgrade an augment slot. The pull down menu keeps disappearing (as though I hit 'escape' to back out of the menu options.) The game then locks up and I have to restart. Dev Post AmberGreen Posted November 14, 2013 Dev Post Share Posted November 14, 2013 (edited) Hey there folks, We have confirmed your reports that the new modification table in the VIP Area of the Fleet isn't working properly. All other tables remain functional, and you're able to use them until the new one is fixed. This will be added to the Known Issues as well. Some of the class ships have terrible choices for placement of the various items, like the Jedi ships having the mailbox, GTN terminal, and banks all on 3 different levels. In the VIP room, I have the GTN in front of me, my personal cargo hold on the left, the guild bank on the right, mailbox right beside me, and a junk vendor a few steps away. Plus, it doesn't lag up there like it does down in the main halls. When I'm ready to go on a mission, I fleet pass down to the lower level, hop on my speeder over to the daily terminal, and cruise on over to my destination. It took way too long for the VIP room to be useful, but now that it is, let's find ways to enjoy it and improve it rather than bashing how it used to be. Alec_Fortescue
Just crashed twice there during my both attempts ^^ Anyway, you should move them because it's not really safe for them to be up there.. I'd say they should be in the corners beside gtn terminal!
OmenQ
^^ The first time i agree with a Bioware Defender! Until they put in the GTN terminals up there, I kept asking what the point of it was too. It was wasted space, and a sad reminder of the fact that I bought a CE.
