May as well get this download out of the way if I am not. Yes, well according to what BW have said, if you started downloading the client again then you will need to finish downloading it... But some clarity on whether that is true or not would be great, I have also started downloading the whole game client. Do I need to let it continue to run or can i cancel it? Will I have to download anything other than the patch tomorrow? ^^^^^This I need an answer to this question. I opened the launcher after work to play as normal without reading the forums like I usually do. Then I saw this huge DL. So it has already started patching. BW: WHAT DO I DO??? Then Courtney here slaps me in the face with the awesome skills of bioware. ACCIDENTALLY released a patch? ACCIDENTALLY?! HOW?! Seriously, how do you accidentally release a patch? Is there just a button and someone was like *click* "oops thats not youporn." Is there a toggle switch someone hit with their shoulder on accident? Because I'm pretty sure there's more involved to it, and "Accidentally" doing it is pretty hard to do. It's like "Whoops, I accidentally built a nuclear bomb." Not all of us can afford super fast high-speed internet, some of us poor students are on a budget. Thanks for the 2-4 days of download time. Most of the time, an apology is sufficient IMO. But, sorry this one is a massive hit on the player base. I'm fortunate that I read the forums regularly as I play so I knew enough to NOT relog into the launcher until this gets sorted out. Very well done, BioWare. Unless we get a heaping pile of cartel coins for being locked out of the game essentially for tonight, otherwise I have no further plans for continuing my subscription. I call Garbage. After checking the Devs post only a few minuets ago it was said that at 3:25pm CDT the Launcher was good to go for us to play again but at 3:46pm CDT After checking trying to re launch the Devs post removed the statement with the times stated that everything was supposed to be up and running. Now replaced with the Do not Attempt to log in. So why state that at xyz time is the launcher good to go then retract the statement? I have been a proud supporter of this game since Aug 16 2011 (shout out to Revan beta people) through all the crap, server merges, downtime, but this is a total joke. I have never been so mad a this game before. If you are crediting people for this disaster, I want a refund in cartel coins! Not some $3 off of my sub. While I'm on the subject, take my crappy Risen title and give me the coins that everyone else who bought the expansion 3 days after me got.
