Active pets do not persist when loading a new area or changing instances

Apologies to bump, but this one was finally fixed in the latest patch, 7.4.1! So, I just wanted to mention that in case anyone who's been keeping an eye on this bug and thread wasn't aware.

It's great to see Broadsword fixing some of these year-long bugs, I hope they continue to do so with some of the other ones that have lingered since 2013/2014 or so.

Only took 10+ years.

I suppose bugs reported since 7.x will be patched in time for 2035

Can confirm - pets now persist through loading into new areas, and even log out.
