In your opinion, which is the worst pvp class in 2.0?

Play a merc upload a video then say the class is fine k.

Mercs will not be taking into rated they can do every roll sub par in pvp they are the worst class name a role they do that a class can't do better. Same combat log from my last post just as relevant.

 

I think it is pretty clear I have said that my shadow needs nerfed. Of course I am being attacked for saying it by all the delusional people, but whatever.

 

I was right though. It COULD have been worse (10 k). :(

 

Trust me, I kill all classes that fast including op/scoundrels. How that makes sense in a game with only 2 stealth classes that should be balanced around being able to have a decent fight? I have no idea.

 

I would rather see the class get nerfed now then get the later "to the ground treatment". I actually love the class, I just know what OP feels like and shadow/sin is stupidly OP atm.

Sentinel and guardian are easily the worst PVP classes of SWTOR. None of sentinel's specs are viable for PVP, and guardian's DPS specs aren't viable for PVP. Tank guardian is fine, but offensive guardian is awful. Edited by TheCourier-

You playing at lvl 17 or something? Mine just hit 51, vigilance is nuts. Guardian focus I can't figure out, it seems to flow much better on sentinel types who are also MUCH more durable. On the other hand combat/carnage feels like a substantially inferior version of vigilance, now. I'd say l2p.

It's hard to tell with the current state of bolster, but I think a lot of the pre-2.0 criticism of Commando/Merc still holds, notwithstanding some quality-of-life improvements. Carrying the huttball has become a little more feasible for us and we suck just a tad less at kiting. But we're still stuck spamming grav round to get the proc'd reset on Full Auto (45% talented, but sometimes feels like less), with nothing to do in between GR when we're on our secondary rotation. Could probably put Electronet on a shorter cooldown. Its effectiveness is all over the place right now.

 

Well stop playing grav round then!

How is this a merc problem? That's a shadow/assassin/TTK problem. Does a sage or gunslinger hold up any better against 17k damage in 4 seconds?

DPS scoundrel/op. Why? Shadow/sin infiltration is better in just about every way possible and can kill the scoundrel/op without losing any health. When one stealth class counters another stealth class and that class has no counter? The other stealth class becomes useless.

 

I play both classes. I may stop playing scoundrel all together.

 

When I see a scoundrel defending on my shadow, it is a free kill and my node. If it is the other way around and I am defending? The scoundrel is dead even with an opener (and that is the only opener he will ever get if I know he is there and also use improved stealth).

 

Scoundrel/op may be the only class that is just useless in 2.0 as anything but a healer, and sages/sorcs are looking much better at that to be honest.

 

Best class? Shadow/sin multiple specs. Then sniper. Then a bunch lumped in together, with sorc/sage prob being the best dps/heal hybrid.

Playing my assassin = Spike - maul - maul - assassinate. (4 GCD)

 

Playing my sniper = Series of shots - sniper volley(out of GCD) - Series of Shots - takedown. (3GCD).

 

Playing my Powertech = grenade - dart - flameburst - railshot - rocket punch. (5 GCD).

 

Playing my marauder = Charge - Smash - ravage - vicious throw. (4GCD).

 

Playing my scoundrel = shoot first - blaster whip - sucker punch - backblast - suckerpunch. (5GCD).

 

I don't play my merc and sorc at pvp. But my guildies are doing insane damage as a merc, insane healing/survival as a sorc.

 

I think IMO as I can see today, playing 15+ warzones per day both pre and 55, Warrior/knight is the weakest class in 2.0 because of new kite abilities, knockbacks, stuns, roots, slows and snares.

My rail shot is hitting very very weak lately and the dots are practically useless.

 

Yes, railshot max 5.8k... Maul I'm doing in medium/light armor 7.5k~9k with no armor debuff.

 

Imo, sins, mercs and snipers = 2.0 strongest classes.

Wut? They are awesome.

 

Might just be something wrong with the way my Guardian is bolstered. I barely get 20% crit even with the Smuggler buff so I have no idea why it's so low. I'm focusing on getting my Shadow to 55 first. Infiltration is LOLOLOL.

 

I'm sad that Balance is kinda bad though.

Worst class by far currently is Merc Pyro. Merc Arsenal's buff to TM changed the outlook for that class significantly. It (Arsenal) still isn't a strong class, but it is head and shoulders over Merc Pyro.

 

Compare Merc Pyro to Operative Lethality. Lethality is considered a weak subclass. But it's DoT opener costs 10% of the resource stack rather than 25%, and is AoE rather than single target. LOL. It is like that at every comparison point. Stuns? Lethality can do it far more often. Shields? Lethality has two, Merc Pyro has one. Etc., etc. Oh, and then Operative lethality also has stealth, cover, dodge and rolls. Hahaha.

We must be playing different warzones, on my mara and sent (rage/focus) I am putting up huge numbers and only die when I los healers/play like an idiot/or am focused. But then again, those are my problems and I'm having way too much fun doing it. Without bubble stun, my mara/sent is fun again and has a nice flow to it.

Warrior/Snipers are the strongest imo, Mercs/Ops(dps)/Sin(dps) are weakest imo. But then again I don't guard nodes often or get into many 1v1s with Ops or Sins. Not to mention PTs got a big nerf.
