It would be unrealistic to expect paid character transfers before F2P, since the payment system has a dependency on the F2P payment system. I also think they will sell character renaming coupons, perhaps even a barbershop coupon which takes you back into the character creator. The game started with way too many servers, causing many of us to play on separate servers from our friends. Then after rolling characters on various servers to play with friends, they release Legacy which makes us wish all our hard work across those various servers counted towards one Legacy. Now with f2p coming out, we have the best opportunity to consolidate our toons and have our friends who are new to SWTOR join us on our one server we play on. Releasing this service in 1.5 would correct so many issues with how everything mentioned above was presented to us.
