  1. Good morning, My name is Urd and I'm currently a progression healer on the imp side. I'm looking to transfer servers to the Shadowlands and looking for a raid group. I have a sorc healer in full 220/224 gear which is my main at the moment. I also have a carnage mara that I've been working on. His DPS is rubbish at the moment (5.5K) but his gear is fairly bad so I believe this could be improved significantly. If you have a progression team and see me being a fit please reply here and I'll answer any questions you may have. I'm looking to either Heal or DPS in a team My questions are... A) What is the size of your guild B) What is your raid atmosphere like (professional, light-spirited, fun, serious, etc.) C.) When are your raid nights? Look forward to hearing from you!
  2. Urdenot's Battleclan is currently recruiting for a viable progression raid group Here is how are group is looking thus far Tank One: Reshrewe Tank Two: Empty DPS One: Barex DPS Two: Empty DPS Three: Empty DPS Four: Empty Healer One: The Stranger Healer Two: Urdenot Please post if you are interested! We're looking for name, class, role, gear level, favorite star wars character. We do not care what guild you are in nor care about making one - many of us are in separate guilds and happy with it. So for me it would be Urdenot Sorc Healer Gear: 220 Favorite character: Darth Vader Look forward to hearing from you! Raid days and times would be created once the group is created!
  3. This survey you are about to complete is looking at massively multiplayer online role playing games and its relation to various personality traits. I’m looking for individuals who have played MMOs in their past, games like: World of Warcraft, Star Wars: The Old Republic, Elder Scrolls Online, Destiny, EVE, and more! I appreciate anyone who finds the time to complete the survey, thanks again! The survey is long (10-20 minutes till completion) so if you don't want to take it due to the length I understand! However, I can only use responses that are 100% complete so if you only answer about half the questions I won't be able to utilize your survey, so if you can try to answer all the questions Thanks again and I'll post on this thread once I have the results Here is the link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/H58RTLL
  4. Thanks for havin my back Zu I'm not the Urd this server deserves, but I am the Urd this server needs.
  5. I agree Miles, why are we discussing a man who is a past legend, current legend, and a future one
  6. Miles you better check yourself, before you wreck yourself You cannot call out this kind of stuff when you know nothing of the name Urd. Shep knows what the name means, what it embodies, and what it symbolizes. If we must have a blood duel* than it will be decided by ourselves, not by the likes of you TL&DR = Miles sit down, this isn't your ball court son *= Rap Battle - coin flip determines who raps first - challenger calls the coin - 5 minute raps with both sides getting a 1 min throw down at the end
  7. I don't know about everyone else but most of the threads in this forum are along the lines of "Something Something who is the best in PvP? While who can do PvP well is kinda important, what really is important is two things, your look and your name, skill doesn't matter. We have already discussed in the past who has the best look, but who has the best name? I for one would like to nominate a few Patriot - Commando - What a great combination, He is bringing freedom to a town near you! Kaos - Sent - Short, sweet, to the point. It's not a flashy name, or an obnoxious one, but it is an attention grabber. American - Jug - Talk about smashing, he is bringing justice near you one smash at a time Finally we come to the server hero name wise, Jedi Consular Trainer. Not only does he have that name, but he is able to do that with alot of his characters. While he isn't a very useful NPC since he can't train you abilities, he can do some pretty sick stuff in warzones. Now to the name UrdnotShepherd. Ah, what a name that is, except for one fact you are missing sir. "You think Urdnot is your name? You merely adopted the name Urd. I was born with it, molded by it, I had not seen another Urd till I was already but a man, and all it was to me was a name steal. The name Urd betrays you, because it belongs to me." Interested in seeing other names, post away
  8. What fast food restaurant in your opinion is best in slot? I initially say Wendy's but everyone always discounts Arby's, yes its expensive but it is worth it Arbys is my choice, and yes I would like to lock it in
  9. I thought it would be neat if we as a community posted ideas for new raids and hope that maybe Bioware might consider an idea or two for future raids. I for one enjoyed the Dread Masters story arch, but I'm ready for a change! Operation: The Rouge Nemesis Background: The War between the Republic and Empire is finally about to reach full speed yet again. However to some in the Republic the war isn't going fast enough, and the Republic isn't doing what it takes to destroy the Empire. The legendary Republic Space Admiral known to the Empire only as "Nemesis" has had quite enough of the slow build up to war. Nemesis decided to go rouge and withdraw from the Republic, and take the war to the Empire directly. While this doesn't seem like a problem, he took the Republic battlecrusier prototype, "The Rouge". Now, both the Republic and Empire are in a deadly race. The Republic needs to reclaim their prototype battleship and put an end to the Nemesis and the Empire needs to steal the Rouge and take the Nemesis prisoner. However, the Nemesis has a few tricks up his sleeve. Not only is he armed with a prototype battlecruiser, plenty of Republic troops, Jedi, and scientist decided to join his cause. No one is sure what they will find when they board the prototype, but one thing is sure, the Nemesis and the Rouge must be brought down, or unbridled destruction will follow his wake. Boss One: The Elite Guard After boarding the ship the boarding party runs into the Elite Republic Guard. Three troopers stand in the way, all who have which fought in the first war, and are no stranger to conflict. Boss Two: The Nemesis' Hammer The second encountered enemy is the General's private pet, a genetic enhanced wampa. Not only is this creature capable of massive amounts of single target damage, he is known to release terrifying roars that can damage anyone in the vicinity. Boss Three: The Head Scientist The third boss is not afraid to use whatever tools he can to destroy the boarding party and defend his general. The attack squadron has to navigate a series of puzzles to reach the scientist. Once there, he is defended by waves of frontline droids, and the crew has to be able to wipe out the droid army, before he is able to alert the general of the crew's presence in the armory. Boss Four: The two Masters Just outside of the bridge is two master jedi, who decided to join the general in his personal quest to single handily destroy the Empire. While this seems like an easy task, these jedi have fought in the previous war, and are ready for another battle. The first master is a Jedi Guardian who is able to mitigate the damage to his co-master who is capable of healing while in battle. The crew must decide if they are to try and fight through the massive defenses of the Guardian or try and kill the Sage through the Guardian's mitigation. Beware, take too long and the Republic troops will be able to respond to their calls for assistance. Final Boss: The Nemesis After killing the two masters the bridge is undefended. However, they have walked into a trap. The General has barricaded himself into the Prototype Atlas PTX Battlesuit. Capable of withstanding legendary damage and able to dish it out as well. The boarding party have an epic battle on their hands, for if they fail, the General will be free to keep the prototype cruiser and lead the Republic and Empire into an entire new war, one that neither sides are prepared for. The mechanics are pretty crappy but the main point is the story line. Let me know what you think and please post your ideas too!
  10. I think everyone here as forgotten the true overlord of the server Darkoakleaf
  11. I guess I'll mention lowbie pvp'ers I've seen Ereaus (sure that is mispelled) -He refuses to let you cap and is always in a position to be annoying and make you lose Imperial -Awesome healer and objective focused Bully -Recently hit 55 - He is a terror to behold Sneeky - Good operative DPS in lowbies Any other lowbie infamous players - really good objective focused players - whether they are new players or alts I don't look forward to fighting them in 55's
  12. I hear that Urdnought's Ugnaughts is making a pretty strong recovery. I would watch out for them, they are a bunch of trolls, literally
  13. Hey! Here are the players I think are living legends based on class Jug/Guardian = Hulc/Flux Mara/Sent = Wrecks/Feken Gunslinger/Sniper = Skyblaze / Valya - Krronn (tie) Operative / Scoundrel = Ush / Melyn Merc / Commando = Og / Manka - Daz (tie) PT / Van = Defense / Rilo Sorc / Sage = Jaadis / Desii Assassin / Shadow = Mondego / Consular I would go through honorable mentions but there are a ton of them. I just got back for the new patch so not sure who all out of that list is active

    Arenas

Agreed - I actually saw a 4 dps comp and was scared but they were actually really easy to defeat

    Arenas

First of all I was unsubbed for around 7 months and only came back due to patch 2.4 So far I'm very happy with the ranked play. The Arenas allow for a decent diversity of classes, which I'll go into some detail Healer - This role is arguably the most unbalanced. The strongest class here would be the operative, while the merc still holds his own. The sorc/sage isn't well represented Tank - I think that each class is pretty viable for this role, so far I've had the most fun playing with Powertechs DPS - This requires alot of detail and time to analyze and I don't think it can be done so in the first day. The only class here that really is way out of reach would be the sorc/sage, due to being destroyed. I will say I'm happy that mercs/commandos are doing very well in ranked from what I see. I'm also very happy that the arenas aren't overwhelming with smashers As far as the maps go I think they are very polished. The maps allow for strategies before each round and also allow a buffer against all DPS (LOS, etc.) meaning more skill comes into play. Overall I'm satisfied with the arenas, I think time will tell how they will do. As far as the que'ing system and other aspects I don't have any comments. Post what you think
  16. This is one of the few things they are doing right
  17. I wish these were the real patch notes
  18. Here is some information about me PM me if with questions or more information if you think I would be a good fit for your guild. I'm still doing a bit of "guild shopping" before transfers hit so that way when they do I'm ready to roll
  19. I don't think op cares about the debate He just wants to know what guilds are going
  20. Hello everyone I'm Urdnought Wrex and I will be transferring from the Begeren Colony to the POT5. I am currently looking for a guild to join up with once transfers open up. I'll briefly explain why I'm leaving, why I chose POT5, a little bit of information about myself as a player and person, and finally what I would like to see from a guild. I'll try to keep it as brief as possible, but long enough that both myself and guilds receive enough information. Please post on this thread any questions, comments, or concerns or send me a private message. I'm pretty good about answering emails and checking threads so I'll respond quickly. Without further delay here I go! Reasons for Leaving my home server 1.) The biggest overall reason would be that my home server Begeren Colony is a west coast server. It's very hard to raid and do ranked PvP when they set their start times around 8pst or 9pst and they usually start late. When your raid actually starts at 12:30 at night and you have work at 8 in the morning, yeah not alot of fun! 2.) The next reason is the community. We had a great community until the faction balance became skewed toward the Republic. Since that happened every good Imperial PvP'er switched factions to the Republic. On BC its easy to go against a double Pub premade when you only have 6 imps in your spawn pit, and most are of a sub-par quality. 3..) My guild has quit playing swtor and I refuse to quit the guild because I'm good friends with them. Most of them have headed to LoL which I play occasionally. I might be joining them in Wildstar MMO but that won't happen till late 2013 so that's not an option as of now Why I chose POT5 1.) It's East Coast! 2.) I have some real life friends on this server and it would be nice to play with them a little bit. 3.) I hear compared to other servers this server has a thriving community. 4.) It seems there are lots of guilds to "shop" from which to me is a strength for a server. Information about Myself 1.) Well on BC I'm known as Urdnought Wrex, which I got my name from Mass Effect 2.) I'm an Operative Healer but I also have every class to 50 except for an Assassin. I don't play them often I only leveled them to increase my knowledge of PvP and opponents abilities. 3.) My main focus in this game bounces between PvP and PvE. I have full conq/part gear and my valor is 94. The reason it isn't 100 is because of the amount of time I've invested in alts and PvP. Raid wise I personally am 6/7 HM S&V, my guild couldn't down last boss due to enrage timer (DPS issues). Depending on what guild would like to have me I can invest my time in PvE or PvP 4.) I was an officer on my previous server. I was in charge of administration and outer guild relations (fun stuff ). With that being said I'm down to help in any way I can. Be it just showing up in time for events or organizing community events with other guilds. 5.) I'm a really friendly guy and a true Star Wars nerd like pretty much everyone here. My enjoyment for this game is at its highest when I am playing with laid back guys who enjoy getting things done. I'm all about having a casual, funny atomsphere, but still getting the job done. It's true that you can have best of both worlds on this. 6.) I love doing ranked and it'll be nice to join a community with a thriving ranked setting. What I'm looking for in a Guild 1.) Laid-back and casual players. The term casual always is associated with guilds lacking in performance but to me personally I believe that is a myth. 2.) I'm not a weekend warrior. The weekends are a time for me to step away from gaming and spend time with friends. So if there is a guild that is event heavy on the weekend but empty during the week, that is a bad fit for me. However if there is a guild that is relaxed on weekends but heavy during the week, that's great! 3.) A guild that has some use for me. I personally don't care if the only spot you have is on your 4th raid group that is struggling I'm down to start on that. If you have an A team ranked healing spot open or a D team ranked spot open I'm down for either. I'm a laid back guy so just point me where I'm needed and I'll give it my best, no matter what the spot is. Also if all you need is someone to be a backup for a raid group or ranked, I'm down to do that! Being a back up to me is an important job because it places less stress on the main team. 4.) It has to have a sweet name. I mean, having an awesome guild name is half the battle 5.) As far as newer guilds or older top notch guilds I really don't have a preference. However it's always good fun to see younger guilds give older guilds a run for their money time to time. 6.) I do have a scoundrel that is level 51 who I could shoot up to 55 in a day. If there are no interested imp guilds I would go pub with him. The only problem is he has no datacrons and doesn't have the fleet or Makeb datacron. If a pub guild did pick me up I would need their help to get the Fleet datacron and Makeb one. So yeah there's a catch Thanks for taking the time to read this much into it and consider me for your guilds. If you have any questions please PM me or post them. This isn't just me making sure guilds are a good fit for me, it's guilds making sure I'm a good fit for them (Did that make sense?). At anyrate I'll be checking this thread daily May the Force be with you, Always
