  1. There seems to be a lot of semantic arguments being brought up. While the name thing might be a problem, I can't imagine BioWare would allow anyone to lose their strongholds/outfits/items/credits/whatever if there was a server merge.
  2. Yes. I think that's bare minimum of what should be done about decorations.
  3. You're exactly right. I didn't say it would. I think collections are a great idea for decorations. I think making them available from a vendor or making them available in some other way in game could potentially do that though. I'm all for grand decoration packs on the cartel market making a return, or even some direct sale solutions.
  4. Yeah. That's fair. I'm kind of ignorant about the current PVP scene if I'm honest, so I can't speak for PVP players.
  5. I'd rather they merge servers by type rather than region. Have six total servers: US RP US PVE US PVP EU RP EU PVE EU PVP
  6. Alright. I'm a selfish jerk because I don't want them to ruin the economy of the game. Yeah. With a collection system, which we both seem to agree would be a good idea, your first point becomes moot. You haven't addressed my question, which is what, then, is your proposition to solve this issue?
  7. By that logic, aren't armor sets just like doll dress up? Don't know if I see the relevance in that argument, since there's armors that are also rare and also cost an absurd amount of credits. I'm all for decorations being in some sort of collection system, 100%. This will lower demand for decorations that cost a ridiculous amount of credits on the GTN, because you won't have competing prices with people who want duplicates. This will simply increase the amount of decorations on the market, and drive prices down, but what exactly are you proposing here? That you can craft rare decorations from the cartel market? That you can buy them for credits from a vendor? That just makes decorations worthless. It would ruin the economy around decorations entirely, and in turn ruin the economy around chance cubes and cartel packs. As a collector of decorations as well, I'd be kind of upset if suddenly the value of my decorations was significantly decreased. I think it should be required you unlock a decoration once, and if you want more, you can unlock it through collections. I don't think that's particularly unreasonable.
  8. He said we're getting a new Stronghold in July, with a "view of the ocean".
  9. Stopping by to submit 'Kel Dor'. Honestly, I thought by now they would have introduced a system that just gives you the appearance of one of these weirder 'less kissable' race, but doesn't actually make you that race. There could easily be something like a disguise, or like a companion customization option that makes you look like a rodian/wookiee/trandoshan/whatever
  10. I don't know how it is on other servers, but every decoration is available on the GTN on my server. Maybe not everyone gets the old 100,000,000 credit underworld bar, but not everyone can get every piece of armor or weapon from cartel packs either. That's just how it works. They've released grand decoration packs multiple times, and I'm constantly seeing old decorations drop from chance cubes. Prices on most of that stuff would drop, too with a collection system, since the demand for duplicates would also drop.
  11. These solutions are way more convoluted than the obvious solution, which we already have with Guild Strongholds. Let me add more previously unlocked decorations with credits. If BioWare wants to make some money, just add it to the preestablished collection system, and let me unlock more of the decorations with cartel coins. 60 for Bronze decorations 120 for Silver 400 for Gold EDIT: Didn't see this before, but 100% agree. I think you should HAVE to get the Cartel Market / Pack decorations off of the GTN if you don't already have them, otherwise the prices on that stuff is going to plummet, but duplicates can totally be in a collection system of some kind. Make it Cartel Coins. so people can choose whether or not they'd like to spend real money on a duplicate or just buy one for credits on the GTN.
  12. Dunno if I already posted this, but I gotta get this Sand People Chieftain NPC armor from KOTOR
  13. http://i.imgur.com/74Ios1B.jpg PLEASE BIOWARE I've filled 8 notebooks of this!!! PLEASE ADD GAFFI STICKS TO THE GAME
  14. I have decided to go on a hunger strike until BIOWARE ADDS GAFFI STICKS TO THE GAME PLEASE BIOWARE
  15. The models already exist in the game for gaffi sticks, and while I can't speak for everyone, I think there would be plenty of interest if this came to the Cartel Market in the form of packs or direct sale. Weird to me that we have a Gammorean ax, but we don't have one of the most iconic Star Wars weapon designs. Please Bioware! Give me my Gaffi stick!
  16. I don't understand why these aren't in the game yet!!!!!
  17. I know I'm late to this, but I want this so so so so bad. Pumping a gaffi stick up and down would be the coolest regen!!!!
  18. I'm all for new planets for daily areas. I think Oricon, Rishi and Ziost were fine, but I really miss that distinct Star Wars feel I got from running through Tatooine in the base game. So, I would love the chance to take my characters to old worlds again. Hoth, Tatooine, and Taris are all planets I think we could see a lot more of. We've seen this sort of thing done with Belsavis and Corellia in the past, where they add a new area to an existing planet. So give me more of that, but with the planets I really care about. With Rishi, we've even seen different times during the day, and I'd love to see Tatooine at sunset outside of my stronghold, or to see Hoth in a blizzard. I think this also has the opportunity for some interesting, new reputation rewards. You could have new decorations, mounts and gear based around the old planets. Rubble and Rakghouls from Taris as decorations, or igloos from Hoth. Personally I would be overjoyed to see a Krayt Dragon world boss roaming around or in a cave, and this would give the devs that chance to do that! Thoughts?
  19. Ahh didn't see either of those when I scrolled past the last couple of pages. My mistake!
  20. I'm a big fan of the Stronghold functionality in this game. That being said, one thing that really frustrates me is that it's almost impossible to get old decorations from Cartel Packs now. Either they're too ridiculously expensive, or nobody has them. So even if I have one 'Arrangement: Tribal Camp,' there's almost no way for me to get another, because nobody on my server has them anymore. If I already have the decoration unlocked, I'd really like the ability to pay whatever, 30, 100, 300 cartel coins to get another one. I would only want this functionality for cartel market/special event decorations, and if it costs cartel coins per additional decoration, it won't screw up the economy too bad. It's a small issue, sure, but the collections system is already in place, so I don't see why it would be so hard. Something like this would also give us a way to preview decorations before they're released, rather than having to go into the decorations window and search around for twenty minutes.
  21. I enjoy editing videos together in SWTOR, but one thing that I've really wanted to improve the quality of my videos is something in game I can use to easily key my characters into a scene. I think a very simple green screen decoration for medium and large sized hooks, would be the perfect way to get some great video content out of the community. If this were to be implemented, I would also love a blue and red screen option for characters that have green armor.
  22. I agree one hundred percent. Even if I can't make a return off of the slot machines, I can at least get some cool stuff I never had the chance of getting before. Plus it's super hard to get Cartel reputation after the packs that have them go away. Never did I think my legacy would own Revan's mask and Nihilus' Mask, but here we are.
  23. oh yeah this would be sick. I don't have access to a 3D printer, but I'd so buy a figure of my character from Bioware in a minute
