Undertakertg
Hey everybody, I'm just wondering what server(s) I should consider transferring to on June 12, when the transfers are available. I'm currently on the Swiftsure, in a guild with nearly 200 people. Sadly, we only have roughly 5 people online MAX at one time, and roughly a peak of 50 people at one time for the server. This is SO boring to me. I cannot stand not seeing a player of the opposite faction. The Imperials get destroyed by the Republic at pvp, its just annoying. I'm mainly just looking for a well populated pvp server I guess, if anyone knows of one, please do feel free to post it!

It helped alot lmao, and hopefully this should aswell
Wugan
I'd be kind of surprised if you can transfer off The Swiftsure. We are the top US West PvP server, and in the top 20 for overall population. So if you think we have it bad, imagine what it's like for some other servers. It seems more likely that we'll be a destination server, although right now it's all guesswork until Tuesday. Asacado
5 more days and we'll have our list to transfer too. I can't wait to be able to start pvping again. Wait....with all the nerfs to my class, maybe I can wait a little OR I can just go willy nilly and play my maurader. In all seriousness, I'm hitting the best available pvp server listed, if there is one.
SelinaH
They will give a list of servers to transfer to, no worries. Just wait be patient take a look at the list and you should figure it out yourself. No Worries. According to the information released so far, there won't be a list. Each origin server will have a single preselected destination server to transfer to. You can choose to move to that one server, or stay put. If your preferred server choice doesn't match the devs' selection, you'll have to wait until after the targeted free transfer phase, when they implement a more free-for-all (and likely fee-based) system. Arlbo_Nabbins
Hey everybody, I'm just wondering what server(s) I should consider transferring to on June 12, when the transfers are available You wont have a choice, if Swiftsure is a server they decide to transfer players from then you will be given a single server to transfer to. This phase of transfers is all about producing a number of well populated servers by allowing people to move to a defined set of servers from their current low population server. I'm mainly just looking for a well populated pvp server I guess, if anyone knows of one, please do feel free to post it! When the free transfers happen, you will have the option, if you're an origin server, to transfer to one and only one destination server of your same language and type. If you don't like that choice, you don't have to transfer. You might have the option down the road to pay to transfer to a different server or even different kind of server. http://www.swtor.com/blog/character-transfer-server-populations-and-you http://www.swtor.com/community/devtracker.php If you're wondering on how to find a good server... http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=465012 If having a large population is important to you, the best place to see server population trends is http://www.torstatus.net. Look for the servers with the highest phi value. US http://www.torstatus.net/shards/us/stats Europe http://www.torstatus.net/shards/eu/stats APAC http://www.torstatus.net/shards/apac/stats Having said that, "wars do not make one great" and population isn't the only thing that's important. You probably also want to get an idea of what the social atmosphere on the server is like, or the PvP warzones, or the raiding progression. 1. Check out posts for that server in the SWTOR forums. Do the people that are posting seem like people you want to play with? Are there events going on that you'd like to go to? http://www.swtor.com/community/forumdisplay.php?f=309 2. Google the server name and see if there are external forums for that server. These are forums that aren't moderated by the folks at SWTOR. If you're interested in RP servers, definitely check out http://www.swtor-rp.com 3. Find the social media outlets for that server. (Facebook, twitter, you tube). See if they're active and what's going on. 4. Get an idea of what guilds are like on that server. Even if you aren't interested in joining a guild, they are part of the social climate. (http://www.tortools.com/quiz and google are your best bets) At this point, you may consider looking at everything skeptically. There has been a hint that there will be some sort of server consolidation in the future, and people are going somewhat buggy about it. Good luck, and may the Force be with you! Akharus
From a quick survey my brother and I did... The Swiftsure is actually pretty much the second most jiving PVP server. I'd recommend you stay there - I would bet on people being allowed to transfer TO it, not off of it. Although yeah, in the last month it has lost a LOT of players... which sucks, I actually just rerolled there :-\
tynt
DARTH MALAK!!! goto that server because it's the one i play and third most pop server =)
Scorpienne
goto that server because it's the one i play and third most pop server =) People won't have a choice about which server to go to. Please see the above notes from the devs. There's no use "marketing" your server. Each origin server will have one and only one destination server which will be chosen by the devs. Paige
SageYo
I don't know why people write so much, Fatman is the answer it is THE most populated server period.
