what kind of content do you think needs to be added?

i've been seeing alot of discussion about the fall in subs and low population count on servers, and i agree with alot of the things people are saying but while i could complain all day long about this im just wondering what kind of features other than the obvious things do you want to see implemented to pull the subs back and the general populus back up even by a tad? for me i want to see some sort of low level open pvp world with a level cap on the area would help. id also like see level 50 areas for the lower level worlds (like hutta, korriban, ord mantel, tython) to see some better expansion on where your standing is as a character after you finish the storie, and also this might help emphasize revisits and also open up oppurtunities for more dailies and challenges, this could also be a good chance to have the level 50s help the new characters ect... plus the obvious things like x cross server fps, ops, pvp and what not would also be a good diversion. thought i would throw this out their as i think its a good idea and could help the player base in some shape or form

3D Space Sim is number one for me, with each planet system being detail in there own way (Korriban surrounded by Imperial ships, or lots of activity above Coruscant).

Wouldnt mind seeing them expand the starter and capital planets. Also they should add a few open world PvP planets aswell.

It's not about adding content. It doesn't matter how much content they add if no one is logging in. What they need to do is combine some servers. Make the populations healthy on the servers. A lot of people no longer play because when they log in, there is no one else online. Hard to play an MMO without other people to form groups with. If they do this, I think it will help a lot. More people will want to log in and do what is currently in the game.

As far as content i.e new zones, fps or ops? none, they just need to rework their entire gear itemization and totaly revamp the incentives to do fps and heroic group missions aka: carrot on a stick.

If youre talking about quality of life and tools then theres alot they need.

x-server lfg, server transfers and a new incentive program are tops, i cant choose one that should be done first because almost all of them will fail without the other.

Then dual specs, rated wz's etc etc.

And i dont think they have alot of time to do any of this stuff, if its not done before july this game will be in horrific condition during the summer months when mmo play time usualy dips quite a bit. And if gw2 releases before these are done and its not a flop, dont even want to think about it.

This is the number one requested 'fantasy' feature in the game, based on a recent poll by Bioware itself. Feel free to look it up. Guild Capital ships came in at a close second.

What Bioware needs to do to ensure the future of this game is to spend the next year or two getting it's ground game fixed and feature rich, including population control, group finders, ranked Warzones, etc. With the expansion, they need to introduce a well polished and deeply engrossing Flight Sim, X-Wing vs. Tie Fighter style.

If they can accomplish all of this for the first expansion, the population for this game will explode.

i definately agree they need to combine the servers i think bioware created so many due to some overconfidence on their part and perhaps preparation for a best case scenario but now they need to implement some character transfer feature and server combination to get the population up more

Here is something I have noticed in this game, compared to WoW, yes I said it...

The gear isn't memorable. You never see a piece of gear and say to your self,

"where does that drop! I want it." With weapons sheathed, or a LS on your hip, it

doesn't stand out. If you were a rogue in Vanilla, Core Hound Tooth and Preditions

Blade were the ****, and you wanted it, the carrot, the drive to stick around and continue

to play to obtain it. This game doesn't have that.

I can tell you pretty much what my warrior had equipped during my tanking days in

Vanilla from MC to Naxx. I haven't played in several weeks, and I have no idea what

my BH was wearing other than it dropped in EV and KP Hardmode. My .02

Same-server LFG tool.

Global LFG channel.

Server forums.

Appearance tab.

Unify colours expanded to companions and allowing player to pick whatever colour he/she likes.

Removal of credit cost from legacy features, make legacy levels give you legacy points instead. Money is still an option as payment, no longer a requirement.

Ability to use more than one kind of weapon (smugglers with rifles or sniper rifles).

Legacy feature to switch skill-set to the mirror of the opposing faction - Trooper Vanguard to Powertech for example.

Legacy feature to have your own characters as companions.

Companions can change skill sets and roles (Dorne can tank, or Corso can heal).

Scale rewards to player level and player to the planet (for example you will get scaled down to level 16 on Dromund Kaas if you are 50, but you can complete the quests and get level 50 monetary rewards + legacy experience for it).

A storyline with space combat!

... That's about what I can think of.

lol heck i could tell you want my rogue used in eq, pre kunark, kunark, velious and pop. because you are right, they were cool and you lusted after them and busted your butt to get them.

While i do agree that they need to do this i think its something they can work on in the future to make it a better game. It wont save the game right now.

I hope their version of 3D space combat has a control system like Freelancer. I never could play flight sims or space sims worth a crap with their oddball control systems, but I could easily grasp Freelancer's control system from the start and got quite good at engine kill + thrust + missile/torpedo kills. Heck I managed to play through the storyline with zero deaths in the starter crapflier.

And yet no game since has ever used that control system. I really don't understand it. It was fluid and easy to understand, so flight sims must stay as far away from that as possible in favor of horribly complicated and outlandish control systems?

Content that I'd like? How about a way to earn social points that's actually ya know social? I don't really care what it ends up being as long as its fun and players interact with each other, not spam space bar in BT for hours on end because that's the most effecient way to climb the absurdly high social ranks (social speeder requires social level 5 for a level 25 speeder... who on earth has social 5 at 25 unless you have a leveling partner or something similar?).

Geeze you have cantinas and casinos and even strip clubs (and houses of ill repute too), use them already! Heck give peeps a single point for buffing others while not in sanctuary, that's more social than spacebar spamming!
