You'll have better luck buying from GTN. The Legacy Guardian Exalted set looks similar. http://dulfy.net/2012/03/18/legacy-vendor-in-1-2/ You can buy from Legacy vendor at Coruscant. If you have a Jedi Battlelord's Chestplate and wear the rest from Guardian Exalted set with Unify to chest, it looks just like full Jedi Battlelord's armor and vice-versa. I have both sets, so I can tell. Of course, in the promo shots you always see the hood-down versions of the chestpieces which aren't even possible to get in the game right now. I really hope the hood up/down toggle will be in the game soon, perhaps in an "RP patch" 1.2.x together with being able to sit on all chairs, an animated /liedown emote and chat bubbles (one can dream, right? ). Alec_Fortescue
This armor is not available in the game. Shame, isn't it? Guardian's exalted armor has a hood up and totally different colour scheme (bluish). Jedi Battlelord Armor is more fortified with additional straps of armor, has armguards and has a hood up. Armor shown in the picture is misleading and caused me a lot of pain. Lack of hood down armor is totally preventing me from enjoying playing a Jedi so I am waiting with playing that class 'til I get a hood toggle or some hood down armor. Don't listen to the rest of the post here, they don't know what they're on about. -_- I am 2000 hours into TOR at this stage and I know my stuff... Jedi Battlelord (hood, same colour skin as the armor in the picture, more fortification) is available as a random world drop from Correlia (lv 40-50) and mission boxes from level 300 Treasure Hunting missions. Legacy Armor has exactly the same skin/model but textures differ slightly, it has a blue colour (not green) and has a permanent hood up. The best armor to go, imo is the other Legacy piece... It would be best armor in the game if not for idiotic spaulders. If you're into appearance ( lack of which is game breaking for people playing Jed Knights) I recommend passing on the Jedi Knight until Bioware does something about it... Wait... Seriously... Did I just comment in a thread which had a second last post posted in March...? Thanks, Mike -_- Edited October 8, 2012 by Alec_Fortescue

NRVNQSR
the moddable headband you get for one of the Heroic 2's on Nar Shaddaa removes the hood without covering your eyes. It's a decent alternative until the hood toggle exists.

CdrChaos
If you're into appearance ( lack of which is game breaking for people playing Jed Knights) I recommend passing on the Jedi Knight until Bioware does something about it... It's not IMPOSSIBLE to get good looking armor for a Jedi Knight, it's just really frakking hard. You have options of moddable armor, like the Battle Expulsor's Chestguard, which is basically the 'classic' Jedi look and is moddable, and you can get it on Coruscant, without any Legacy requirements. The lvl 40 pvp Knight armor is also pretty good, though I prefer an actual robe to just a cape and hood. There's options, but they all involve buying the purple sets from vendors, ripping out the mods and putting them into armor that doesn't look horrendously ugly, mismatched or uses ugly colors (there's literally one with antlers on the shoulders). Caulderone
Looking for a good Jedi Guardian set but don't wanna buy Thexan's robes again. Is there any gear/gear sets in game that maybe kinda resemble Thexan's duds that are quest rewards or something? First, that's one heck of a necro (~4 years). Second, why would you buy Thexan's again? That's what Collections unlocks and reclaiming are for. Third, tor-fashion.com is the best place to look at various sets, including suggestions for similar sets.
