^^ directly from this weeks Q&A. all of your metrics are tracked, and fall under consideration. they cant build and keep even a semi balanced economy without them. also, while there are always "power crystal" missions, they very often are not the same ones. each one has a specific name, and often a specific return range.

 

different, not better. you may have personally liked that system better (i know many who absolutely hated it) but that is not the same type of environment we have here. perhaps you should leave some actual constructive feedback that they should move more towards that system, and the pros and cons of which, instead of stating "swg was better, give us that" like you have done.

 

To be honest from playing SWG, Harvesting resource was a process of going out to survey for your resources, You could plant harvesters and Gather while offline, I have seen many threads where many players would like to access missions while offline, through an App, which honestly is almost the same idea, The ability to be able to interact with the game while not having to log on and be there. SWG crafting is simular to SWTOR, in the fact that you put your schematics into your Factory and it created the actual item, very close to what we have here, now seeing that we cannot go out and plant anything like a harvester its impossible to say "hey put harvesters in Swtor!", but being able to repeat the mission that I just did is not that far fetched, on a post that I had seen in the Q&A says to have an option to unlock sending our alt's companions on missions while playing your alt. Also another great idea. SWTOR is an epic game, it is not finished, so if we the community are making posts, its to help, I am sure many fans want SWTOR to be the best game on the market.

I like just about everything...

 

I would also add:

  1. Guild Ships (I know they're working on them, but I am a bit anxious)
  2. The ability to possibly win trophies from bosses when doing raids with guildies and then maybe showing them off to other guild or to fellow guildies by adding, maybe a trophy room on your guild ships.
  3. The ability to purchase cooler and better ships later throughout the game.
  4. I keep saying it because I now BioWare needs to hear it: You Need A Render Distance Dropbox! That would demolish the issues with lag and bad render quality that so many people have been complaining about.
  5. Cooler legendary armor that stands out more in public (currently, if you're a trooper, you look mostly the same that whole game; still boss though).
  6. Need minigames. I totally agree with that.

#1. Save/Load preferences settings so I can copy them between characters.

#2. Automatically reassemble group after a warzone.

#3. Option to turn off Wz introduction audio ("these are the rules of huttball" wears slightly after the first 100 times) and movies at the start of PvP.

There is no ONE thing that needs to be fixed in SWTOR; rather, the changes must be multi-faceted and coordinated--and would keep me playing for the forseeable future:

 

1) Tone down the rewards for playing PvP; people get leveled up quickly in near-Rakata level gear. Therefore, there is no need to do flashpoints. Through PvP, the DPS and healing can get PvE Ops-level gear quickly. The tanks however cannot get adequate tanking gear from PvP (this isn't fair). So there is DPS and heals running around in near Rakata-level gear who haven't the foggiest about flashpoints and Ops--and tanks who have to work their rears off in FPs they can't get others to do...and they start off with Tionese, way below the PvP-level gear.

 

2) Add a real, cross-server LFG tool for flashpoints.

 

3) Up the ante for doing HM flashpoints. This would add huge incentive to do flashpoints, the HM daily reward should be scaled to the difficulty of the heroic completed, and should include Rakata and Black Hole tokens as appropriate:

 

The Black Talon: Keep as-is, "LFG quick daily BT HM" in General Chat makes my stomach turn

Boarding Party: Add 1 Rakata token

The Foundry, Directive 7: Add 2 Rakata token

The Battle of Ilum, The False Emperor, Kaon under Siege: Add 1 Black Hole token

Lost Island: Add 2 Black Hole token

 

4) 1.2 was supposed to be the "crafting release," but few are buying anything--most of the higher-end stuff just rots on the GTN. The quality of craftable gear wasn't adjusted high enough with 1.2. Up the quaility of craftable gear so that people once again want to buy it off the GTN. Currently, the PvP rewards are superior to crafted gear for all but tanks, and the Ops gear is far superior as well. Some people really liked crafting and selling, but it is broken.

 

5) Quit doing contradictory things. For example, the designers gave Artificers the ability to craft crystals--but at the same time introduced the Rak plauge which flooded the market with crystals!

 

6) Make the current and future PvP warzones cross-faction. Fighting your own faction is just embarrassing. Wait, what? There is an opposing faction out there?!?

 

7) If you do not do a cross-server LFG/PvP quickly, consolidate servers ASAP.

pet battles aren't bad but why not lift it up to companion battles?

 

Pit companions against e/o in a special arena on Tatooine with gifts or so as a reward

 

To heck with that! Go to the top! Add in 1 v. 1 PVP battles that other people can watch. And not just duels with random people in the station, add in a separate PVP map for it.

1. Fix static feel of NPCs and planets overall. Improve mob A.I.

2. Replace loading screens and introduce better transitional cutscenes/Star Wars like loading panels

3. Add PhysX effects to engine (see upcoming MMOs for reference)

4. Add Minigames (e.g Pazaak, Togruta, Podracing, 3D Chess) and fully functional Nar Shaddaa Casino

5. Improve engine performance / FPS issues / lags / UI freezing

13. Using ALTs as Companions, Legacy "Family" stories unfolding at special places

14. Space sandbox, colonize and mine asteroids, space stations and competing forces

15. Proper off-rails PvP/PvE space combat

16. Ingame event calender

17. Set bounty on players

18. Intergalactic Radio shows

19. Collect DNA samples from animals/vegetation - clone your custom pet

20. Brain challenging quests with puzzles instead of grind only, less click x kill x

21. Day/Night/Weather cycles

22. Sandbox x-server housing areas to build player settlements/guild cities (e.g. add one new x-server planet)

23. Reduce cost of Legacy unlocks to reasonable credit prices, enable some unlocks by level only

24. Repeatable Quest markers, different types of markers on quest givers (already done - blue, below level - grey, heroics red, ...)

25. Re-Design some of the non-starwars-looking endgame armor pieces

26. Companions interacting with each other on the ship (random animations, chattering, walking through ship)

27. Monthly world events similiar to Rakghoul outbreak

28. In-Game Browser similiar to EvE to prevent alt-tabbing outside of the game if you need to look up something

29. Make all mounts and taxis capable for two persons so you can ride with your companion. Astromech companion should follow like a pet.

30. Customize faces, bodysizes and names of companions

31. Map Improvements - option for rotating maps, green color for player position marker, set map markers and notepad, different color for map icons of different types.

32. Give meaning to using mod stations (reduced prices for removing Mods, reward with discovered schematic,...)

33. Toggle Hood On/Off

34. Quick travel map lacks necessary information on quests - merge with standard map

35. Better more deep management for companion stats and gear on ship

36. Pet Kennel on Ship to watch inactive pets feeding / playing with each other

37. Color Matching for companion armor appearance

38. Make Ship robot 100% customizable, not just as a healer

39. Chat Bubbles

40. More Character Slots

41. Dual Spec

42. Epic, legendary gear with top notch stats which drops 1 / 1.000.000 chance of killed mobs, ability to show off epic visual appearance of item to other players

43. Monthly World Events

44. Player created content on new sandbox planets (e.g. Set up a speeder racetrack on ENDOR, sell it as a Quest)

45. A 64-Bit multithread Client to make use of high amounts of RAM like 8-16 GB (right now 32-Bit Single thread, capped at 2,8GB RAM which does not make use of current PC technology)

8 & 20 would make me a die-hard fan of TOR. Especially 20, I mean click x kill x is annoying. I really enjoyed the AREA 3x3 puzzle on Balmorra I think it was. That was NICE and I wish there were many more quests like that. There was a puzzle in every BW game (KotOR, ME, especially Baldur's Gate), bring that into SWTOR as well!

Yep, regarding 20., BW should check out Secret World and the investigation missions there, exactly what I want in TOR as well.

Not fully agree on this.

But imagine if Empire has event to take over Tython with missions, kind like the just past Raghoul Event. 2 week chance to take it etc. .

Average result (cross server wide?) will decide if an Empire base will be set in this area, and if a more expanded invasion of the planet can begin.

i want these on 1.3

 

- LFG Tools for Flashpoints / Operations , for now its same server LFG, with Cross Server later as an option

- Cross Server WZ and Ranked WZ

- Server Transfer / Server Population re-balancing (eg server with faction imbalance need to be adressed)

- Single GTN (no faction GTN but a GTN thats really available for everyone from every faction)..

- Dual Spec

 

i wish these on next patch

 

- New FP, New WZ , New Space Combat , New Planet

- Beauty Saloon / Barbershop to change Hair style/color, make-up/cosmetic

- More Social Armour that looks good (orange Moddable)

- Dance Warzone, a form of PVP that put 1 vs 1 or 2 vs 2 or 4 vs 4 players , dancing to perfection.. best dancing team wins

- Speeder racing / betting or Pod Racing or Swoop Racing.. Race against 4 or 8 ppl.. Circuit on every planet ( tatooine, hoth, alderaan) with different obstacle..

- Space Combat PVP scenarios.. or Space Combat Flashpoints

- Hide and Seek type of Warzone, like huttball , but only the ball carrier can be killed

Assuming they captured Tython, where would new Jedi characters receive training? I'm all for battles that determine the state of the galaxy but denying the starting areas seems rash.

You can't know how much I want this game to survive, I feel like I a playing by myself. I really believe we need a looking for dungeon que, I am getting bored finally but that is because of nobody to play with, yes I have been in guilds but everbody is at a different level and are doing there own thing also.,please dont let this game die we need help in gathering groups.

[1] Never, never, never nerf a player's abilities. If you want to even things out, make another character more powerful, but never nerf people. This makes them angry and want to quit the game. Why do that?

[2] Fix Jedi Consular Sage DPS. Empowered Throw was halved in 1.2, and Critical Kinesis was reduced also.Why? I don't see any Sentinels, Commando's or Gunslingers complaining that I have too much DPS on my Sage.

[3] Fix Jedi Consular Sage AOE. Why in the world would you limit AOE to three enemies? For example, in the final boss fights in KP or EC, there are groups of 6 or more adds that show up. How does it make sense for me to use AOE when I can only attack half of the groups and the others remain at full health. Gunslinger AOE isn't limited to 3 enemies, why should mine be?

[4] Let me use my speeder EVERYWHERE. Why limit where I can use it? Can't use it in Maelstrom Prison? Why? This just doesn't make sense... Let us use speeders everywhere.

[5] Get rid of these rediculous transfer stations. Just give me an ability to go to my ship, anytime, from anywhere with no CD. Then, when I go to a planet and exit my ship, how about he showing up ON THE PLANET. This just doesn't make sense. The time to run through all these transfer stations and doors? Why?

[6] Collecting should be instant and not make me get off my speeder. Why have a cast time? Why take me off my speeder just so I can right back on it again?

[7] How about some surprises in the game to keep it fresh and not boring?:

[] Random champions here and there wandering around that drop great loot?

[] Surprise loot when collecting, maybe stuff you can't get anywhere else. e.g. Bioanalysis, Archeology, etc

[] Day/night cycles on planets, weather, etc

[8] Help me find a group for heroics. Why have heroics if we can never find a group to go in with us? Its so frustrating, I was on Nar Shadda leveling a new Commando, there were 22 people on the planet but not a single person responded when I wanted to group up for heroics. Combine servers if there aren't enough people, or group us up across servers. Why even have heroics if it's going to be so frustrating to get a group?

[9] I would like to program what my companions say, For example, when getting on my ship, or when I summon them.

[10] Why make operations restricted to 8 or 16 players? How about making the difficulty as well as the loot scale so that if I have 7, no problem or 9, no problem... Why make it frustrating to run operations by limiting it to these fixed numbers of people?

[11] Companions should always show up when I get off my speeder, even when in a group. If I'm in a group with two others and it's my companion we're using, he should show up again when I get off my speeder.

[12] Test your stuff before you release it! This matrix cube bug has got some people about to quit the game.

[13] You need to make sure things are not too difficult. For example, the new Flashpoint Lost Island, the 1st boss is way too easy. The 2nd boss way to difficult. My guildies just won't run that one with me because it's so frustratingly difficult. Why release something new just to dissapoint people with frustration when they can't make progress in it?

[14] I hate having to re-kill mobs to get out of an area to complete a mission. Either make all of the areas instances that remember what I've already killed, or give me a back door at the end to get out. Its SOOOO frustrating to kill stuff to get into a cave then have to re-kill it on the way out. Please fix this.

[15] Could you have put the astromech droid that you can buy on your ship in a more inconvenient location? Why do I have to run to the lower deck to use it? It should be right there where that useless C2-N2 stands. It should be between the bridge and the exit, so it's convenient to use when doing things like the dailies.
