IMHO, the legacy experience boosts should have been more in line with the 2x weekend bonuses. That way players could choose to invest in as mush experience boosting as they would like, and some players would be free to grind away at the game without any boost what so ever. Maybe limit the boosting to 2nd characters and beyond, but helping people get their toons to 50 faster is good for the game, IMHO.

IMHO, being camped at our spawn is way better than having to die and travel back to a fight zone. Being camped makes it so much easier to keep up the pressure and destroy the attackers. Such is usually the case with any Imps who attack us at Thorazan on tat. NPC support usually makes it easier to balance any advantage the attackers may have. I'm on the Bastion and we don't have such organized events. I'm glad there is a healthy group of PvPers on PoT5. Bravo and congrats on your event. axx PS.. to the questers on Voss who were caught up in the action, try to see the silver lining and the benefit of such event possibilities. PSS... I wish there was a global announce in the game, that might call/rally factions to a specific planet/area to address faction attacks. If it were like the BORG alerts in STO where players could fast travel to the fight, that would be awesome.

+1 Having to heal in "catch up mode" is such a frustrating experience mainly because it causes healers to be less efficient and burn thru resources unnecessarily. I too would usually prefer to pass on such fast run strategies.

Well, I am interested to see what alacrity changes offer all casting classes in 2.0 I have heard some reports saying casters will be very happy with changes to alacrity and helping make our mechanics a little less turret style. I still have fun playing my Sage and Bounty Hunter. They are what they are. I just wish switching between specs was a little better organized. Respec in the field is a good start but I'd like to see something which makes switching a little better organized.

Since reading up on the hybrid build and rotation posted by Elihdu, I have gotten much better numbers out of my Sage. The trick is maximizing the DoTs with the FiB bonus damage.

same here, and then I slowly added MK-5 augments to boost his primary stats. Only companions who get better gear are Nadia on my Sage and Torian on my BH, because I have great hand me downs for them.

Frankly, not enough tanks in ToR know how to guard and taunt for their healers, so we often spend too much time healing our selves when we could be healing others. I regularly ask for a tank guard when queuing up for a PUG warzone or OPs mission, maybe 20% of the time I find someone who even responds. One time I had a tank say... "I throw you a guard when you need it", which is usually too late. Totally different story when I roll with friends or organized guilds. In those situations the healing experience is a joy and in many warzones you feel immortal. Perhaps my biggest complaint as a healer, are those players who will not heal themselves between engagements. They are too lazy to push a button, yet expect the healer to hustle to get them back to full health. Many of these types also seem to have a love of rushing ahead of the group to take on even more damage and expect the healer to save their butts. Unfortunately, i think it's all reflected in group chat lately, and the usual lack of respect between players, which carries over into how they play their roles in the game.

Thanks for the new content/event. I was able to grind (2) characters almost every day for 36 Helix components each, I also have enough gree rep cores to get to legend status, although I was not paying attention to maximizing each week's reputation, so I too will have to wait until next week to reach champion rank. Pretty much all of the pros & cons of the event have been covered. I look forward to seeing what the DEVs have learned and how it affects future events. It will be nice to have a few days off from grinding.

also, do not hesitate to pay some credits for a PULL up to the top door and access to the datacron. I have seen such offers all the time, and while I have done the normal run for the +10 datacron a few times, i elected to pay 50K recently for a quick smash and grab of the datacron with my latest 50..

That has been my play on my Sage. A make shift PvP light saber and focus built around a resolve hilt 27 and resolve armoring 27 with the rest of the slots loaded with (61)PvP mods, enhancements & WH crystal. With everything else currently WH, I'm running 1264 EXP, 1990 WP (with rakata 112 resolve stim), 19759 HP, 104.6% accuracy, force bonus damage 894 and Crit 25.25% & 78% surge. I have spare enhancements & mods to reload up to 38.65% crit at the expense of power. I wanna say my damage boost was just below 800 with this build. I'm running the stalker armor 4/4 set bonus of (1) extra tick of force potency. So far, getting off a complete rotation with 3 ticks of force potency has been a much better burst build than running higher crit. I have procrastinated grinding out a WH light saber and focus, instead buying PvP gear items for slot stat optimization as well as for my Companion who is currently just under 1000 EXP and a real asset when visiting Tat to help clear Thorazan of Imp ganker 50s.

Real problem was a lack of guild support.

I haven't played TOR in a little over a week. I went back and started leveling another character on STO. While the ground battles in STO are no match for STO, the space battles and ship customization is still a lot of fun. What a joy to be able to playing around with about 6 different weapon setups on my ThunderChild attack rift and not have to pay any $$$ to swap around slot items. BioWare could make this game much more fun if they eliminated a good portion of the credit sinks in the game, but they won't, because they think they are genius. 21 days left on my sub. Not sure if the patch 1.2 free 30 days will kick in after. Guild is almost dead, which is why I haven't been playing. Just logging trying to sell/relist stuff on GTN.

Thanks for the chuckle. Note to BioWare... the only real math is if we stay subscribed and are actually paying you money. I believe a good portion of those still playing were folks who bought 6 month subscriptions. Late July or August might tell the real story.

27 day here. Not sure if the free 300 kick in after or not, I assume yes. Will I resubscribe? Depends on the guild. We have lost a great many guild members to other games. If many do not return to SW:TOR, there may be a strong guild effort to play an alternate game. For me playing with friends is more important than the game. I hope SW:TOR does enough to resolve problems AND get some folks to resubscribe but I have limited expectations. I have been enjoying rolling a toon in the other faction since the worlds and missions are very different. But that doesn't help the guild just my boredom with the game.
