ChairForceOne
Hey! just wanted to check in with some of you stare wars lore buffs. STORY SPOILER ALERT FOR SITH WARRIOR. In the story, you hunter down this padawan for a very long time, but when you finally do find her, she becomes your "apprentice" or companion while you are still the apprentice of Darth Baras. Doesn't this violate "the rule of two"?
Quickpaw
Not necessarlly. Remember, the "Rule of Two" didn't come about until Darth Bane's time, around two thousand years after this. Besides, Baras himself has multiple apprentices. In the begining you are just his enforcer.

DarthRamette
Not at all, the Rule of Two is not even invented yet.

Darth_Moonshadow
No one ever followed the Rule of Two. Every Apprentice had his or her own secret Apprentice. We should call it the Rule of Three.
Mechavomit
Didn't you notice that there are thousands of Sith around besides you and your master? What Rule of Two are even talking about?
Altyrell
Rule of Two Revan laid the foundation for the Rule of Two. Laid, sure. But still doesn't change the fact that the RoT doesn't go into affect until 1,000 BBY
Rayla_Felana
Laid, sure. But still doesn't change the fact that the RoT doesn't go into affect until 1,000 BBY Pretty much this. Darth Revan's holocron doesn't actually say anything about the Rule of Two, he just states a master should not have more than one apprentice and that is about it, he certainly did not lay the foundations of the rule, he merely influenced it, the Sith'Ari Darth Bane did all of that work. JohunMorlish
Bane expanded on Revan's more general teaching to not train more than one apprentice (but without limit on the size of the Sith Order). It was this teaching, which Bane learned from Darth Revan's Holocron, that inspired Bane to create the Rule of Two.
