No, this is based mainly on the game play for my Jedi Sentinel. The game play for my Asssasin is nice, she is building up in power and wealth to meet the game requirements at her level. As for the Sentinel, I fill like I have to do more grinding and teaming up than should be necessary. The other issue is all the running around just to get from on location to another (this was mainly in the first two worlds.) The game has potential, but Bioware cannot sit on it laurels and let the game go stale. Listen to the players and spice/tweak it up to give it more life. Edited by SentinelSoldier

No!

Why: I've never accepted an MMO in any form it's in! I've simply enjoyed them as they evolved, that is why I play MMO's almost exclusively! Because they evolve :) I will never be happy to play any given patch as a "finished" product.

No.

In order to make a Theme Park more fun than a sand box mmo is to have more rides. Like Disney world, it would be a boring place to go if there is only one ride.

SWTOR needs more things to do other than combat or questing

GIVE ME PAZAAK OR GIVE ME.... Deat..... well just give me pazaak seriously. That will make me subscribe using the year package not the month to month

Yes

I'm having a blast and I'm able to experience most of the content on my own schedule and at my own pace.

This does not mean that I'm content with the bugs nor does it mean that I want the game to remain as-is without future content updates. I'm quite simply enjoying the game currently.

No.

I enjoyed it a bit at first, played to 33 and the mid twenties on another character and got bored. Giving it one more shot, but I can't see it being much different.

It feels too much like the devs were playing it safe when designing the game. The only revolutionary aspect is full voice acting, but that's really a single player feature. And unfortunately, splitting the story up into eight stories instead of one has really watered it down. I don't feel attached to any of the characters. I don't feel a pang of sadness when a character dies or smile when something ends up nicely, like I do in say.. KotOR and Mass Effect.

When I'm with my crew in Mass Effect, the story and situation can change. Even my choices may change. I feel like they're at my side since they are fleshed out characters who have a believable backstory for the universe. I always ended up choosing the characters that interested me the most rather than the best combination for a mission, or the ones that best complimented my character. I don't feel that at ALL in SW:TOR - the only attachment I have to my companions is HEALZ DEEPZ OR TANKZ?

The long delays between the main story (filled with space missions, PvP, and unrelated grinding quests) also help water it down further. If Mass Effect had *required* me to do several full planet surveys (either with the vehicle or the planet scanner) to progress in the story, I'd probably get bored too. Especially annoying when I hit an interesting part in the story (a part that finally peaks my interest) only to be told I need to gain a few levels to be able to do that. It's like getting halfway through a chapter in a good book, and then having the book taken away from you and you're told to go read 100 pages of a Printer manual (and there will be a quiz at the end!) if you want to finish the chapter.

It just kills the flow of the story.

So to sum it up.... in my view, they relied so heavily on the story, but broke it up/watered it down too much to be a valid draw after the initial 'honeymoon' period is over. I really want to love the game, I do. :(

Edit: It could have been compensated for a bit (for *me* at least) by giving us more sandbox features to play with. Yeah, a linear world is nice, but when that linear world is lacking, let us make our own stories.

Not really, no.

I had 3 SWG accounts (pre CU) and had an ever-loving blast! Just not feeling anything much for TOR. The first 30 days was pretty fun, but now I'm bored and off looking for something else again.

Please remember that there is a large chance the developers are reviewing what is written in this thread.

Please keep your responses mature so they continue to do so in the future.

Thank you! :)

In that case...

I would like a response from a BW representative. Is there *any* plans to optimize SWTOR for better FPS performance - Particularly, in WZs? Better assets handling?
