DeuceKewlage
I am confused with Kolto being the healing agent. I thought it was Bacta. Bacta tanks were in the movies, why isn't in SWTOR? Granted, it's 3k years difference, but if you examine the universe, thing haven't changed any (but that's another issue.). So, where did this Kolto come from? Why didn't Bioware use Bacta? CecilTellyn
Bacta hasn't been invented/discovered yet. Kolto is what they used in KOTOR 1 and 2 so it makes sense to have it in this game for continuity's sake. Kolto is basically the predecessor to bacta. Rouge
I am confused with Kolto being the healing agent. I thought it was Bacta. Bacta tanks were in the movies, why isn't in SWTOR? Kolto comes from KOTOR 1&2 and in in-universe from the neutral ocean planet of Manaan, home of the aquatic Selkath. Bacta isn't invented yet. Explosive_Lasers
Wookieepedia has the answers. Kolto comes from the sea the Progenitor swims on, on some planet. It's the most effective healing agent in the current time. Bacta is discovered a few hundreds or thousand years from the current time.
