ForceFanatic
Is this going to get worse or only an issue during launch? I don't want to invest more time in a chracter if wait times are going to be consistently bad... Or should I just tough it out and it will get better? Tahana
In the same queue as you.. I hope that they start shutting off Full servers as there is no option to be able to transfer.
darthdoll
Just wait, because every usa server is heavy/very heavy/full, no standard, then once you get a high level it will hit full.
Saithene
Please keep this to one thread, the info you seek has already been posted, the decision is yours to stick it out of go to a new server. your previous thread
ForceFanatic
Well Harbinger is clearly the worst wait for the West Coast. The others are only like 5-10 mins. I just don't want to deal with this wait everyday. I just tweeted to Stephen asking for advice.

These server are only going to get worse as EGA goes on and on release they will be far worse. If you are not invested in your character or do not play late night and early morning I would suggest re-rolling on a new server.
ForceFanatic
Okay thanks Saithene. I was just thinking maybe they would be increasing server populations when maintenance happens tonight, perhaps...
Azaranth
Yup, I'd recommend a server move if you don't have friends on The Harbinger keeping you there. I'm hoping Bioware offers a server split for some of their more populous servers, as they keep bringing up new ones.
Saithene
Okay thanks Saithene. I was just thinking maybe they would be increasing server populations when maintenance happens tonight, perhaps... They might but there are still many AUS/NZ players not in the EGA yet, myself included, I put off preordering until there was no chance of a surprise Oceanic release, and plenty of other Oceanic player have done the same, or shopped around for the best deal they could get. Lord_Itharius
I'd jump ship on the heavily populated servers if your character is below lvl 10 and you have no stake in the server (aka no friends or guild). I'm sticking it out on Iron Citadel because that was the server our guild was assigned for guild deployment.
ForceFanatic
I see. So has BW said there will be no Oceanic servers at launch? That seems like a bad decision, especially for me apparently lol. Edit: I'd rather not have to play levels 1-11 again but I will if I must. Certainly in hindsight. If the Harbinger was a dedicated Oceanic server, I imagine there'd be a lot less West Coasters on it, and the load would be a little more balanced... DSMADDOX
Honestly, just sit and wait. There is no way to say if the next server you roll a toon on will fill up like Harbinger after next week. If you don't want to put much time into multiple characters, just wait.
Tahana
The problem I see right now is all of the PVE servers have a queue.. They need to start opening up more PVE servers before the 20th or this is going to get really bad. Also what happened to the Central and Mountain servers they had during beta? Play on a West Coast server, you shouldn't have a prohibitively high ping. I remember an Australian player making an Oceanic community thread picking out two servers specifically for Oceanic players, you may want to search for that thread. Koros
Harbringer is the main PvE server for the Oceanic community, so if you don't want to play with Australians and New Zealanders, best to re-roll servers.
