I'm in:

Specs are quad core AMD, ASUS board, twin 6770s in Crossfire, 8gb RAM.

I use the desk for mixing, thus all the gear such as the homemade tube amp up top and the Focusrite interface. The speakers have been replaced with much larger Event monitors now, which do provide stunning in-game sound as well as being great for mixing.

Fully WC'd i7 2600k & 5850 in a Silverstone TJ07 with an Aquacomputer Aquaero 4, on the front panel looking after all the fan speeds and coolant temp and to top it off a sexy FrozenQ reservoir.

And I love it :D

Lol, my husband built a new comp for me in the fall specifically for this game (and Sims 3 Pets.) Last comp was from 2008 so it was time for an upgrade. I think it's appropriate as my main is a trooper.

The dual mons were from the old comp, didn't see the need to upgrade them as they've served me well... and survived moves from Hawaii, New Mexico and Florida.

I don't know any of the specs but they are good enough to run all these new games on the highest settings so that's all that matters. Played Rift on highest as well. Hoping to do the same for Diablo 3. ;)

I was looking into getting an Alienware laptop, but I've heard iffy things lately because they're owned by Dell. I was recommended to look instead at Asus or Acer.

There's a question subtly posed in those two sentences.

Yeah, I benched my desktop and went to playing on a fulltime laptop since I travel quite often. It hasn't let me down yet and I've had it for over a year. I got a refurbished one from Newegg.com.

Things I liked:

- Customizing it, the colors available for the keyboard, plus it just looks awesome.

- Games run smoothly and it's fast. Runs just as well (if not better) than my desktop.

- Great for full time gaming, I can play games on it for 8hrs+ and never have it overheat or get hot at all.

- It was cheap in comparison to new Alienwares. A lot cheaper.

Things I didn't like:

- It's heavy as hell. When I travel, I pack it on a small carry on with wheels.

- I had hard drive problems, but that could be an error on my husbands part since he upgraded a few things in it.

- I blue screened a lot when I first got it, but maybe that's because I risked it with a refurb laptop. Stopped turning on and acted like a *****, but thankfully I married a guy that's handy with computers. Now it runs fine.

Point is, I'll probably never deal with Dell's customer support. If you don't have someone around to deal with its hiccups, I'd probably pick something more stable.

Actually not really :)

The Rez was ordered directly from Alex at FrozenQ because of the individual helix colours. https://frozenqshop.com/

Most of the other stuff came from Specialtech http://www.specialtech.co.uk/.

Living in the UK I tried to source most of the as close to home as possible but I did have to get a couple of Bitspower barb's, for the roof rad from frozencpu because all the ones in the UK were sold out at the time and I was getting impaitent :o.

Good to know! I'm not a fan of Dell, they were one of the companies I originally ruled out when I first started looking. But Alienware still seems to have some decent laptops. Acer is so much cheaper though! D: Decisions, decisions. I've yet to look at the refurbished laptops on newegg, I usually prefer to go new for anything to do with technology, but it's worth a look.

Argh, everyone's set up all look great, clean and tidy.

I'm too shy to post mine. Valeena, your little gaming spot is so welcoming. It's very pretty. :)

Crazy really; am less shy about posting a picture of me than my crummy pc/table. Something to work on I guess. :)

Yeah, well, I'll admit I cleaned up first. That and my university semester doesn't start until the end of February, so it'll stay fairly clean until I start 'studying' (you know, the act of having a textbook open nearby while actively doing something else), then there will be papers sprawled everywhere. :p

Aww, thanks. :] When my desk was bigger, I use to "nest" so it would get quite messy LOL. Now I don't have enough desktop space, which is a good thing. & don't be shy, no one will judge you!

Ahh, that chair is awesome. My hubby uses 3 monitors too. I don't know how you guys do it, I stare at it and I'm like 0_0
