  1. If majority of the community is negative, that is not a good sign for Bioware. I personally ended my subscription and stopped playing the game for a couple weeks now but regularly check by the forums when I am looking to see if the game is improving or not. I have done as "you people" say "Why play if you hate the game?". Now I do not feel the game should deserve all negative criticism. Bioware has done an nice job with this game that kept me and a lot of my guild mates held on for a few months. Though this game doesn't feel like it can keep a person subscribed for years, it was a nice ride. Many of today's common critiques go by the saying "We judge the game as it is presented to us, not how old or new it is". Now I do not want to go comparing WoW and SWTOR like everyone does, but the game puts you in a situation where you are forced to if you are too used to WoW's gameplay. What I am trying to say is, that I miss the good times when: -The game was your own world to explore, that "unknown area" feeling and feeling of being scared of what you will discover. -Running into opposite faction players in the world and fighting for your life, once known as "World PVP" -Being with friends, and having great moments sneaking into enemies cities and having a lot of players to interact with. I will end it here before I aggravate any fanboys.
  2. There are no available transfers at the moment. I am on a HEAVY server, and I find it nearly impossible to find groups no matter what time of the day it is. This is just sad.
  3. Though I do see too many loading screens, I think your exaggerating about the amount of loading screens while traveling between planets.
  4. Yes! I love the Nostromo. It is comfortable, dependable, functional, and has a great software for programming macros. Though having to switch between the Nostromo and my small wireless keyboard to type while gaming can be hard to get used to for some games. I haven't tried to use the thumb stick because to me it just feels weird, although I do see people using it leaving more space for keybinds. I highly recommend getting one.
  5. Here's my precious: http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7174/6845889167_5ed5870411_b.jpg http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7024/6845890953_05b257fd2b_b.jpg
  6. What a lot of these fanboys and trolls here do not realize, is that WE (the people who are upset against patches every other day), play the game like everybody else, suffer through whatever bugs and problems the game currently has, like everybody else, and also feel the same about it needing to be fixed. What would be more appreciated more by most players, is if maintenance could somehow, instead of being during random days of the week, all be on one patch day. Yes- We understand there are people who can play all day, and at anytime they feel like it and not have to worry about coming home from school and/or work and are able to play an hour if not 2 hours a day. AND there are also people who have the luxury of being able to play at any time and STILL complain about not being able to play for the 4 hours or so when a patch hits. However, we are not that. Yes- We understand time zones are different, there will always be people who will be suffering from patches at any part of the world during their inconvenient playing hours. However, being the West Coast is the most heavy area in players, we feel that instead of say, pulling the plug at 10pm our time, you could push it back at least 2 hours, so that the late night gamers don't have a 16yo's curfew, and can have a couple more hours to their playing time. Yes- We want things in this game fixed, we want the game to improve, we want little ant sized bugs to be fixed immediately, "it can't be fixed during the patch day! Must be now!". However, is it completely necessary to have these patches this often? As said before, what game destroying bugs and issues was and or still is facing that is currently being fixed with this current patch? No- It is not selfish to want to play when we are able to-and not wanting to have the patch occur that is causing us inconvenience. It is selfish on your part to expect Bioware to fix every bug you complain about immediately. Just a though, really. Not trying to hold up a sign with the big words 'COME AT ME'. I am for peace and enjoyment to all who play this game. After all, it is ONLY a game. And we all share one purpose, to have fun. Though there are things that Bioware can do to help majority of the people out, we still appreciate all the work they do to improve their game and doing it as soon as possible.
  7. No. Though with the exception of Bio-Wars fanboy kids, this game is something I can enjoy spending my extra time playing with a decent amount of people to play with. And again, No.
  8. Thank you, after a long day at work, I come home to a maintenance. No really, thank you. Now I can continue my Skyrim addiction as the last days of my SWTOR subscription come a forth.
  9. The only funny thing I see here is that he actually gets his 8 hours of sleep.
  10. I begin work at 6am and literally do not get home till 9 on most days, and it is frustrating coming home to my server offline and seeing an 8 hour or so maintenance. I do not want to ask for compensation for lost time, because it won't happen, Bioware shall not give anything free. All I would like is the server maintenance to be pushed back a few hours or so that I am able to at least play for a bit on these days that they choose to do a server shutdown.
  11. They saw an opportunity to milk more money out of this Star Wars franchise, so why not release the first movie in theaters again and charge extra with this so called "3D" effect? Currently owning all movies on VHS, the first 3 on DVD, and now purchasing the Complete Saga, I feel I have watched this episode enough, and given them enough of my money.
  12. $250 Keyboard $130 Headset $140 Mouse $50 Mouse Mat... Yeah. I don't think so. I am not that SWTOR obsessed.
