The Mouse is called Razer Naga and has 12 buttons for your Thumb. Takes time to get used to (its big and locating the buttons is kinda hard at the beginning) but it realy grows on you :).

My Naga's left click always clicks twice. Crap build quality on those things.

I use ESDF for movement to keep my hand on the natural home row, and strafe by mouselooking while using S & F. I have 36 hotkeys I can press without looking at the keyboard:

1 2 3 4 5 6

! @ # $ % ^

q w r t y a

Q W R T Y A

g h z x c v

G H Z X C V

My shadow is only 17 so I can't really list a keymap (my 50 guardian uses every hotkey). 1-5 is my standard rotation, s4 & s5 is my AE stuff, s2 & s3 is my channeled crap

qwrty is my frequent use cooldowns and rest

agh is snares/interrupts

zxcv is reactive/stealth/cc

QWRTYAGH is long cooldown abilities that I don't usually need to watch the cooldown for, they are only for big fights basically.

ZXCV is buffs/stances that I use.

7-= and s7-s= are abilities I just click to use, as they are non-combat.

I've since changed it some. On the right is my mouse.

Since I learned how to type, this was the easiest setup for me (i.e. left hand on home keys)

With so many useful abilities, I was forced to move to keymapping (in that other game which shall not be mentioned, I only used a few (4-5) keys and point-n-clicked the other abilities)

since you can't move around the UI, I printed out the map and had it near my monitor to learn it.

It is best to start with a new toon if you are new to keybinding/remapping

WASD + mouse steering, A&D on strafe.

For all classes I do something similar, so it's easy to switch:-

1st Row: 1-8, then F, SHIFT+Q, SHIFT+E, SHIFT+R

2nd Row: SHIFT+1-7, Z, X, C, V, B

Right bar: NUMPAD 1-9, then /, * and -

Left bar: SHIFT + the above.

I will also bind F, G, T to various things sometimes. Also I have E and R for target nearest and next, and Q for previous target (with CTRL+these for friendlies)

General rationale is with something like the Shadow, I keep ranged abilities on the first number keys, main interrupt on F, melee or more rarely used abilities on the SHIFT+keys and numbers, Force Speed on Z, frequently used buffs, etc., on X, C, V, B (healer characters use mainly Z, X, and C for heals). Right bar for things like Forms, Stims, Stealth, etc. Left bar for Recovery ability, hour buff, travel abilities, etc.

This game needs another keybindable bar :)

Sounds more like you received a lemon, I have had mine for a year now, as have 2 other friends, and they've been flawless. I love my Naga. We're picking up another for my fiance soon (this is her first MMO and she's been jealous of my mouse since she tried it).

Just thought I'd start up a fun thread where we post screenshots of what our keybindings look like. I'll start.

http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/594/screenshot2012012523130.jpg/

I got it down to 6 buttons using macros, If Bioware don't want to put them in then I'll use Razer Synapse 2.0 on my Naga mouse.

Kinetic Ward macroed to my Strike

Project macroed to my force breach

Cooldowns macroed together

You get the picture, over all my game play and FUN factor went up 100% due to macros.

Kinda wish I had a mouse with more then 3 extra buttons now.

I feel your pain man, I gamed with a 3 button mouse for years, but after I went out and got the Razer Naga or any gaming mouse with more then the standard 3 buttons my gaming exp forever changed, it's worth the money trust me, it will be like a breath of fresh air after playing with one.

I'm surprised that I'm the first one to post with a Razer Nostromo keypad.

16 buttons, 3 separate toggle-able profiles, directional pad, click-able scroller, everything fully programmable.

14 of the game's buttons are arranged in 3 rows, with the 16th button on the thumb rest.

On my main, a 31/0/10 Jedi Shadow, I have it set up:

First row, 1-5 contain my primary attacks: Saber slash, double strike, project, interrupt, taunt.

Second row, 6-10 contain my secondary attacks: secondary taunt, throw, knockback, stun, etc.

My last row 10-14 contain my misc stuff: Force Speed, Stealth, Speeder, and medpack.

I keep my 16 (thumb key) as jump.

My direction pad is setup to cycle through targets, and the small 15th button located above the directional pad I have set for target closest enemy.

The other toggle-able profiles I've got are PVP variants for warzones and huttball.

I also use it in the other MMO I play, EVE Online... it's versatility is quite nice.

Overall, the thing is awesome. After getting used to the way it feels I've become quit efficient at PvP and tanking.
