Hey JC, I transferred from Pot5 back in August and have been running SM GF Pugs whenever I am on. With 4.0 hitting soon I have decided to look for a guild that fits my play schedule and goals. I am looking for a mainly OPS guild. I have been in progression guilds in the past and was 8/10 in the current level before the implosion of Pot5. With my changing work schedule (I am a teacher and coach) i could only progression raid on Wednesday from 8 est to 11 est, Sunday afternoon until 11 est, and most Mondays from 8 est to 11 est. Whenever else i can be on I run SM OPS. I prefer to tank or rdps HM. I will heal SM but i do not like the stress of HM healing it is just not for me. I am not a good mrps player but good enough for SM ops. I have 22 60s. 11 on each side which share legacy gear. 2 Sins/2 Shadows - can tank or DPS, I considers these to be my "Mains" 2 Jugg/2 Guardians - can tank or dps 2 OP/2 Scound - Mostly heal but been playing around with DPS a bit. Consider to be my main healer 1 Sniper/1 GS - Best DPS 1 Sorc/1 Sage - 2nd best DPS, I do not like to heal with this class 1 PT/1 Vang - Lowest geared toons. PT was my "main" tank in NM DF/DP got burt out on it. 1 Merc/ 1 Mando - Second tier healer, i do not dps on them. 1 Mara/ 1 Sent - Second tier dps If you think I would fit into your guild please post or PM me. Hello, I am in need of a raid group. My last group was dissolved so that the guild could focus on the main group for the new Nightmare content. Being the 4th tank in the guild due to seniority, it was better for me to find a new group. I am a teacher and coach. My play time varies based on what sport season I am in. Due to that fact my firm raid days are Wednesday and Sunday. I can make those days 90% of the year. I am hit and miss on other days but i am on at least 2 to 3 other days per week. I have all roles but prefer to tank. My Imp characters are better geared but all core pieces are Legacy gear to transfer to pub characters easily who may not have as good ear piece, implants or relics. I heard though the grapevine that this group may be looking for one DPS. Their raid times are Wednesday/Monday 930 to midnight server with optional of Thursday.

One of the 5 MoX groups that has downed NM Writhing Horror this week.

At lower levels i will always guard the heal due to the lack of AOE Threat early in the game and the area which the Mobs are spread out is huge so the heals will pull almost every time. Once I hit the 30s I will switch over to the dps that does not have a threat drop like a Dps Powertech/vanguard or Jugg/Guradian. If all have a agro drop i will place guard on the DPS with the highest health. Once i do a few pull i will see if the other dps is pulling off of me, if so i will switch my guard to them.

LF Republic Guild that raids on Wednesday from 8ish to 11ish and Sundays afternoons. My characters have at least Columi with some Rakata and BH Com gear. I have DPS Sage, Gunslinger, Guardian, Shadow Tank and Healing Trooper. I am not that picky on witch character to use, I just want to raid at those times due to work schedule. I am not apposed to creating a new guild with those who may have the same raid times in mind even if it means switching to the Empire. Have a good one, Cealog

Buffs/Debuff/Procs. I would love to move each individual Buff/Debuff/proc for my character and my target to anywhere on the screen and scale it. For me moving my Procs is most important. After watching my Fraps videos to critique my tanking I noticed I do not use my procs when I have them in a timely fashion and waste several GCD before i use the proc. The visual clues just dont cut it for me, I would love to move the icons to a place on my screen where I focus more while I am tanking.

Hey guys Cealog of <BDP> here. We have a guild of about 10 or so ex Lowcians on Belgoth's Beacon. Our republic guild is called Exiles of Lowca and our empire guild is Black Dragon Pirates. BDP is now in hibernation as we are all playing on the republic side to even up the server some.

I noticed it too. But i also did see the old spinning above the head animation too. I think they are just adding variety to their animations for looks kind of like Project.

good question, i would love to see this too. One thing at at a time tho. First let get the moded gear fix. then we can work on getting hood up/hood down next for gear customization. I also want to hear more about the "matching color to chest peice" that they took out right before launch. I am hoping for a dye system that armormech/snythweavers can make.

no, you have armoring on the gear, it is hidden atm. you can test it if you want. You can over ride the hidden armoring mod by putting in a new one from your inventory by using right click on the new armoring mod. Your stats will drop. What they are going to do is unhide this slot and allow you to take the mod out and put it in your gear of choice. YOU ARE NOT GOING TO GET SCREWED, get over it and stop being pessimistic. In the end you will be able to have your pvp gear stats with the set bonuses in your orange gear of choice. That goes for the pve'er too.

Your fix is comming. Save the orange gear that you like and get ready to Transfer your mods from your PvP or PvE sets, with the set bonuses to your gear of choice. I hope the fix will be in the next patch but it may be not make it in then. But it is in the works. Here is the link.

Set bonuses are going to be carried over with the Armoring Mod. Each Armoring mod with a set bonus will be locked to its type of gear. i.e. Armoring Mod (Chest) or Armoring Mod (Feet) and so on. Here is the link

An A-Tab is for those lazy people who do not want to put in the time or effort to achieve the look they want. They rather be given something than to earn it with their own merits. An A-tab would total ruin the mod system that they have in place that people have spent hours crafting the look that they wanted.

They are changing that in an upcoming patch. They are going to allow you to take out the armoring mod along with the other two and place it into your Orange gear of choice. Here is the link

When I was leveling with it I would use it a lot. Lot of the pulls in the 37+ areas have 2 normal and a silver. I would CC the Silver, then open with a Shock on one normal and finish him off with thrash/strike then help my pet on the other (normally they would go to the other anyway). Most of the time I would finish that one off with a shock. So I had 2 stacks built up before I engage the silver/gold. I would then just go into my priority rotation and would have a HD FL early in the fight. Those behind in gear may get a second HD FL by the end of the fight but i found that I would have the mob finished off before the next 3 stacks. On a gold i would get two sometimes 3 HD FL off.

The hardest planet for me by far was Voss. I was a tab behind on level when getting there. So I did some pvp to catch up on level with quest. It was still tough tho. One "AREA" quest was rated level 45, i bearly beat it at level 47. It was a good change of pace, I had to think a bit.
