SW:TOR has bugs and some people are angry about it, and some are not.

In addition, there are quite a few people who know exactly what needs to be done to "fix" the game, and others are quite happy playing the game the way it is.

Also, the Hi-rez texture issue is a crime against humanity in some peoples eyes... all others have vision problems and continue to play blissfully unaware they are being cheated by BW/EA/LUCAS/THEDEVIL.

Now you are in the know. You're welcome. :D

I would also like summarize the following:

A) The game involves too much "running" from place to place

B) The game world is not "large" enough and is too "linear"

A) There are not enough people in my instance of a zone

B) An excess of people in my zone is causing my game to lag

A) My FPS is too low and the game is a graphical hog

B) Add dynamic weather and light cycles

A) Sages/Sorcs are OP

B) BH/Trooper are OP

C) Agents/Smugs are OP

D) Knights/Warriors are OP

A) I can't find anyone to group with

B) The huge amount of LFG spam is annoying

A) Random loot is crappy and it should be easier to get exactly what I want

B) There isn't enough things to do at end game

Now you have some good insight as to what the real problems are... from clear community consesus

As unbiased as a mother and her ugly baby.

For those of you new to this forum, there are some who are brandishing torches and pitchforks and saying that BW is guilty of some sort of crime...

While others, with 20/20 vision, find no problem with the game graphics...

I'll let you guess which crowd is the happy majority and which crowd is just noisy as all get out.

(That said, I did notice that the shadows are pixilated. I frowned about that for about 10 seconds, and then found myself re-enthralled in the game - I do hope they fix that, but I don't think it's worth grabbing a pitchfork over, five weaks into the release)

I would like to add

Dragon Age 2

Seems to be the new argument.

No dev team is perfect. I didn't care for DA2 either, but I found ME2 to be an incredible sequel to an already awesome game. Every team has hits and misses. BW has had far more hits than misses, and I feel that this game is one of their biggests hits.

I think their biggest fault was changing dev teams. The team that made DAO was not the same team that made DAII. That said I still enjoyed the game greatly. Sure I feel DAO was better but the combat was more engaging in DAII.

I stand schooled - I didn't realize they switched dev teams - makes sense. Also, to be fair, I'm only going off first impressions, since I've barely started DAII, and I've heard a lot of very polorized love/hate reviews...

I was mostly surprised that BW didn't do to DA what they did to ME, which was take a very successful formula, listen to their player's complaints, and then address every one of them in the sequel, making an already epic game that much more epic.
