That sounds like what I pretty much expected, which is also what I was hoping for! If they were going to vanish, then I's probably look at a second account for F2P, glad I won't have to.

I would really like to know how my 8 toons will be impacted if I choose to play F2P. I know I will only have access to 2 toons and I know they have to be human, what I am concerned about is the fate of those toons I do not play. Will they remain intact until I choose to resub?

So, even though you get the answer you hoped for, you're still going to turn it around and make it into a negative. I've said it before and I'll say it again; The real reason that this game is failing is because of the community who play it.

If they are going to do this, then they need to make it that you can only access the forums after you read a certain IG level. That would then prevent the trolls from simply account hopping.

All too common, though people will not admit it. Once again, it shows how the community are equally culpable in the demise of this game. Just you wait until you accidently loot an item that someone else wants, then see them kick you, block you, stand in Fleet shouting for every other player to blackball you. This, in my mind, has been my worst experience of an MMO community, which is why my sub ends tomorrow. This comes from someone who promised to be in it for the long haul; I am not leaving because of anything BW or EA did, I'm leaving because of the community.

Gonna bump this one up, as I just found it very useful after a full reinstall of my PC.

My biggest reason for not wanting to play anymore are the hundreds of idiots, buffoons, self entitles and other assorted dregs who are just rude, ignorant and obnoxious.

This is old, old news. That video is from 6 weeks ago, and that subject has been winding around the forums ever since...

I would like to qualify my earlier post by saying that whilst I am not resubbing, neither am I moving to another game. My reasons for not resubbing right now are that I don't have the desire to play any game, not just SWTOR. I am sure that this will return and, when it does, SWTOR is my likely destination.

Have about a month left at this point, but have unsubscribed, primarily because I have lost the desire to play. I have no complaints or axe to grind on the subject, I just don't feel like playing at the moment so I don't want to pay. I expect I will come back in due course, but right now I have other things that are taking up my time.

1. Friends Left - We came from SWG and, to be honest, they left almost before the game went live. Just wasn't for them. 2. Guild Fractured - THe Guild that came across from SWG was a fun place, but the Guild Leader left (see above) and the new guild leader, whilst an existing member, chose to abandon 5 years of recruitment policy and just flung the doors open to the world. All members were given recruitment rights and there was no vetting. From there the guild fell to pieces, IMO. I have been unable to find a new guild, where I would feel at home. I have no desire to play with the 1337 kids and have no time for in fighting and ************. I play for FUN, not for LOOTS. I think I am done with MMO's for now and when my sub ends in August I doubt I'll be back. Haven't logged in for about a month now.

You think you have a case? Call a lawyer and let us know how that works out for you... The service is not "unfit for its common purpose" and the contract you signed up to with Bioware, which overrules what you are claiming, specifically states that they do not guarentee uptime. But, as I say, let us know how that legal action turns out for you.

Well, as I see it, they are avaialble equally to everyone, therefore the only thing that prevents everyone from getting them is their motivation to work for them. As someone who isn't that motivated to obtain them right now, I see no issue with those that are having them.

I don't even know where to start with everything that is wrong with this post, and can't imagine why it has gone on for so long. 1. Devs never said that, what they said was that some of the monthly subscription goes to that. 2. OP, please explain how the game servers and people who maintain them are paid for, if not out of the subscription? I could go on and on, but I fear that I would be forced to express my feeling regarding the OP's sanity should I continue, so I will not.
