Auhfel Posted January 26, 2012 Share Posted January 26, 2012 (edited) Thanks for compiling all this information together, I can confirm these 2 bonus objectives unlocked for me when I hit 34: Has anyone managed to blow up the bridge in Jabiim Escort with only missles? I swear I've peppered it with 24+ missles but it just won't explode for me. I doubt you have, there isn't that much time. Take into consideration that there are NUMEROUS capitol ships on Jabiim escort. If you notice, when you destroy turrets on the first and second sightings of capital ships, they respawn the next time you see them. The only time you see the same capital ship is at the very end of Jabiim Escort... you have two chances to fire at the bridge, which is not near enough time to actually destroy it. I have done that mission while trying to destroy the bridge countless times. It just isn't possible without using the Proton torpedo. I can pump maybe 16 or so missiles into the final capital ship bridge.. if the same capital ship was sighted every time in the mission, you would have enough time.. but as you see 3 different capital ships throughout the mission, it just isn't possible. It isn't like Nez Peron Sweep, where you encounter the capitol ship mid-mission then encoutner it again at the end of the mission. I got a level 4 blaster upgrade as a quest reward, but the vendor at the fleet (the only one I have found) only sells odd numbered levels (like level 1 and 3...). Any suggestions? Kreychek Posted January 29, 2012 Share Posted January 29, 2012 Not sure if anyone else posted this, but on Mugaar Ice Field, destroying the command deck of the capital ship (station?) at the end, located on the top of the structure is a secret (daily?) bonus. If it's like any other capital target, it is immune to blasters, so you must use missiles (torpedos probably required, as there isn't a lot of time to shoot at it). Once acquired, the bridge on each ship has an intercom where various space missions become available to the player as they progress through their levels. These space missions are in the form of short “on-rails shooter” events, similar in gameplay to the Rebel Assault or Panzer Dragoon series of games. The initial missions are fairly easy to complete, but to succeed at the later missions the player will be required to purchase or create upgrades in order to improve the performance of their ship and to unlock special abilities to use during the missions. The level of the missions can be seen in the quest log when accepted, but once completed a mission no longer appears on its own in the quest log, but as a part of a daily quest. When certain missions, or groups of missions, are completed a Daily Mission unlocks with new rewards available for completing those sets of missions again each day. The list of missions and their details below are grouped according to the daily quests under which they are a part. Each mission also has bonus missions available which can be completed for additional credit and XP rewards. These bonus missions are not always available until reaching a higher level than the main mission requires. Like regular bonus missions found throughout SW:TOR, the bonus missions and objectives to not appear until at least one target of the mission is destroyed. This means that for some of the larger bonus objectives, such as destroying the Satellite Array of a space station or taking out the bridge of a Star Destroyer, the Bonus mission may not ever actually appear listed as an objective on the screen since the bonus is completed as soon as the target is eliminated. The "recommended levels of ship upgrades" listed are taken straight from the game, but are not always a very good indication of actual mission difficulty. The notes and strategy section for each mission contains (or will contain) my personal assessment of the mission’s difficulty along with upgrade recommendations and strategies that I have had success with. Most of the XP rewards and some of the Credit rewards for the missions are variable based upon character level. When possible, I have tried to note the rewards at the "proper" level of each mission as well as the credit and legacy XP gains at level 50. As for experience points, most missions and bonus missions bottom out at 5xp, though the XP gained for destroying targets during a mission never change and can be worthwhile even at many levels above the mission level. Space Mission Rewards: The first time a mission is completed, (before it becomes part of a daily quest), there is a separate set of rewards that is greater than what you will receive for subsequent play-throughs. Additionally, any Titles or Ship Upgrade rewards are only given out the first time a mission is completed. Totals for all 14 unique missions: Total Mission Duration: 73 minutes 45 secondsAt level 50, completing all daily operations including all bonus objectives for each mission provides approximately 116700 credits Experience: Each mission provides XP upon completion as well as XP during the mission for most target kills plus additional XP rewards for completion of optional Bonus mission objectives. Most XP rewards are variable depending on character level, with the exception of XP gains for eliminating targets in-mission. At level 50 most targets stop giving XP though some targets, and most bonus missions, still give legacy XP rewards. Credits: Each mission provides credits upon completion and additional credits for completion of optional Bonus mission objectives. Credit reward amounts for each main mission and daily mission are fixed but some bonus mission credit rewards are variable depending on character level. Fleet Commendations: Fleet commendations are awarded for each successful mission and/or daily mission. The number of commendations rewarded varies depending on the mission difficulty. Fleet commendations can be spent at a special Spaceship upgrade vendor found on the Republic or Imperial Fleet (in the outside center of the Galactic Trade Market quadrant for Republic) and at some spaceports such as Corellia. An example would be the 4 fighters you have to destroy in the Mando mine missions. When you get the first one you are too low to do that bonus objective. I'm level 37 and can't unlock them. Do proton torpedoes destroy "hard" targets in a single shot? You only get one per mission, right? I question whether it's possible to destroy the bridge with missiles in Nez Peron Sweep / Archenar Interception. While the turrets appear twice, the bridge only appears briefly at the end. I have tried and can't seem to do it. It might be possible if missiles are capable of traveling beyond their targeting range and you get some lucky hits in early, but I'm not sure that they do. You get 4 per mission, though for the most part you won't use all of them (Vondoru being one of the major exceptions) And they can only be used against specific targets. For most missions, that winds up being the Bridges and Station Com Spikes. There's a custom targeting icon that will let you know if you can use a torpedo on it. I question whether it's possible to destroy the bridge with missiles in Nez Peron Sweep / Archenar Interception. While the turrets appear twice, the bridge only appears briefly at the end. I have tried and can't seem to do it. It might be possible if missiles are capable of traveling beyond their targeting range and you get some lucky hits in early, but I'm not sure that they do. Nez Peron and Achenar are possible with missiles. Its not easy, and you have to start focusing on the bridge as soon as it shows up on the first pass of the ship (They do have a fairly lengthy range). Usually, if I don't use torpedoes, I can just barely get the bridge destroyed as I make the final pass across the ship before the jump to lightspeed. Aieny Posted February 6, 2012 Share Posted February 6, 2012 It's either 40 or 41. I couldn't get them when I took my last alt through at 39, and I can at 41. So its just a matter of narrowing it down to a specific levl. Mugaar Icefield is level 41...I've blown some shield generators on my level 40 and haven't gotten a bonus from it.
