Welcome to MMO gaming. How does it feel to be the only person who doesn't know that there are server downtimes in MMO games?

Oh you're totally right!

WoW goes down sometimes for 3 nights in a row! And then every 4 or 5 days after that!

For 7 years straight!

Their customers are such suckers. Let's put our shades on man, because we're cool.

What's that? WoW goes down once a week and never even 2 nights in a row...........? FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-

Oh, theres a bug thats causing people to crash / explot / not log out. Lets not fix it til next week k?

Also, WoW did go down for several days in a row during launch. Unlike SWToR, which is for a few hours, it actualy WAS the ENTIRE day!

It wasn't even that long ago that Wintergrasp was crashing the servers every time it ended, or that the instance servers were crashing (WotLK launch, and soon after).

Also remember the great "Gear Wheel auto DC" in 2010 Holloween? That was a massively annoying bug.

I remember that. IIRC, it was more than a day. It's been a long time but I thought it was longer than a day, though I may be mistaken.

To Blizz's credit, they gave us all some free time.

Somebody wasnt around for WoWs launch.

That was, hands down, the best way of getting all the achievement books in Dalaran :D

A free month does not mean 720 uninterrupted hours. It means for the first 30 days you don't have to pay to access the servers.

Edit: Oh sigh, troll.

I never understood the fascination with pretending to be ignorant.

*looks at maintenance schedule*

NOT

BioWare, make our game better!

Ok, we'll do weekly patches to address some of the bugs.

But that's not GOOD ENOUGH.

Fine. Nightly patches then. They'll be smaller bugs, and we'll have to close the servers around 3 am to 8 am.

But that's TOO MUCH!
