  1. Either dismemberment or techno music. oontz oontz oontz oontz
  2. That's a good strategy. They're going to weed out people who complain about things not working and just cultivate people who will be satisfied by whatever they can get. As long as they churn out quick, ill-conceived new content, they'll be able to keep their easiest to please customer base. It should work out pretty well, too, since many a forum-dweller has pointed out that there are only about 50 or so people who are complaining about the bugs, anyway.
  3. Reminds me of SOE back in the day. They caught a lot of flak from their customers for deleting and locking so many threads. BW didn't learn from design mistakes made by so many MMOs out there, why should they learn from the customer service mistakes?
  4. Heh. This ship sailed without a hull. I'll be impressed if they can keep it afloat.
  5. Bug-free would be nice. If they'd fix the glitchy models (and horrible performance caused by them) and implement the 50s PvP tier, I'd probably stay for a bit.
  6. I don't know... All the horrible customer support running around locking threads isn't helping, though.
  7. Made tons of alts -- on different servers even. It was fun until PvP filled with 50s. Now it's considerably less fun.
  8. My Blindie's hair and mask stick out from under her hat. Her hat sticks out through her robe.
  9. Also it doesn't go over 50 mph and the doors keep falling off.
  10. You don't have the right to complain if the car you bought doesn't work. You can walk. We drivers won't miss you.
  11. The people who did the models did a bad job. I'd like EA/BW to fix their mistakes. The hair and lekku flop around in a ridiculous fashion. Weapons and clothes clip into the character model. I looked behind a Blindie's mask and saw a different mask beneath. Hairstyles have other hairstyles under them. This just reduces performance and makes it all look bad.
  12. Maybe. But this is one of the first MMOs that I've played that actively discourages grouping by design. The group quests are in the same area as your forced-solo class quests. It's pretty unwieldy to have to run through each area in a group, then go back to do your class quests. It adds a lot of dead time to the group if you're trying to do your class quests at the same time as your group quests. I thought the biggest problems were piss-poor performance and models that look like they were designed by college freshmen. I understand that things will get fixed. I also understand that EA will put the fixes off for as long as they can. Complaining is just something that people do when they pay money for things that don't work.
  13. There are some models that were designed in the laziest way possible. The Twi'lek just happens to be at the front of the pack. The first time you log into your jedi/sith, your lekku will clip through your training sabre. Sometimes your lekku just flop around like flat, empty sacks attached to your head. It's like they didn't even do any testing. I'd like to know the name of the guy who did the modeling so that I can never buy another game that he works on. I'd really like to see the graphical "inconsistencies" like these fixed. There's way too much model clipping for such a high-profile game. Also, I'd like lekku wraps; I don't like the existing Twi'lek hats.
  14. Some of the objectives have a really low respawn time but lock out the player who used them. I don't understand why they didn't do that on more/all of the objectives to keep something like this from happening.
