vaxmax
Good morning, I would like to see if the rest of the community believes as I do, and make a request to see if they can implement this quality in the future. It would be very useful to have an integrated system in game to help do player's group s automatically with the aim of organizing Flashpoints and group events. Like when you join a battleground not have to form a group, it would be interesting not necessarily have to do to make a flashpoint. There are tools to help detect players who want to be a party like the comments in the box from who, but nobody uses them. Thank you for your attentionand excuse my terrible English. rawfox
as long as a autogroup feature is optional, like the pvp flag i.e., it would be a totally awesome addition. i am not social ... at least not onboard of my defender, noone will ever hear me, so if i like to go social mode for this retadet "Oh please can someone help me doing this or that heroic" or "27x LFM this or that", then i have to travel to a social hub like the fleet to chat to the other maybe 99 people in my little chat area. we autoteam in the warzones every day, beside some premade groups that have socialised before. we should start with a universal LFG chat channel so if im on another planet, i cant read FP requests .. autogroup feature optional: yes ! Cireas
Autogroup is in my opinion a very good idea. If a player helps another within his/her fight there should be an autogrouping.Much players only play alone because they do not know anybody - or none of them has time to play in this moment. Perhaps he/she does not want to beg for grouping - especcially it can be done by one person too. And by the way: We are on the same side (mostly ;-) The autogroup should automaticly end if the players distance is to high. If two or more soldiers of the same nation fight against the same enemy in small territory - this is a group of souldiers, is it not?

CykonBPS
No. When and if they implement the group system, it should not be automatic in any way, shape, or form. WoW's LFG system was terribly implemented and had an immensely negative impact on the game. All they need to do is create a true LFG menu that other players can brows though that states your preferred roll, and from there, people should have to invite others. I believe in communication between players in MMORPGs, not automatic systems.
CanWolfShadow
No thanks. Especially not cross server.
Matte_Black
I am against autogrouping. I am down with better tools to locate other players who want to run the same missions so they can form their own groups but, I think each player being involved in the selection process maintains a certain level of accountability that is important. pubkin
Very much in favor of a PVE grouping system. They already have a system for PvP, why not for PvE too? So long as it's server based I don't see any issue with it. All the people that claim to NOT care about gear and progression can still hold their local server population accountable for... whatever they feel like policing that day. Perhaps they can earn a SWTOR hall monitor badge and really pretend like they're enforcing some ideal rules they came up with. The best part about it is that the system is optional. You can still spend half an hour scouring /who screens, wispers, general and trade chat on:fleet, other planets, Instant messager, e-mail, phone text, smoke signals, wall carvings, the telegraph, school room check yes or no lists, carrier pigeon, sign language, etc, etc... Personally I like the idea of a PvE queue.

To an extent an auto-group should be implemented. It's actually one of the things that Rift got 100% dead on in my opinion. When you walk into a zone, and it's a heroic, if you get close enough to where the mobs are and another group/person doing it, it auto-puts you into a group with them. As far as the flashpoint side of it, auto-grouping wouldn't work that well in that particular instance. It would be more logical to have the 'dungeon finder' which is what everyone is saying no to in replies. Lots of discussions about it, good points on both sides. Just a matter of time, but right now for most servers it's not needed.
