  1. Neither of your weapons' damage ranges contribute to your knife attacks. It's the tech power listed on them. I sometimes wonder what my agent does with her vibroknife, alone.
  2. I find it really funny that people will stand or walk into every other class' AoE, but you start an orbital strike animation, and they scatter like roaches. It's great for herding the republic in ilum when they decide to come out and play.
  3. Well, you see, there's these points. And some things have more points.
  4. I'd like a redesign of our energy model. The concealment spec is pretty bursty in the sense of energy usage. Things need to be activated at the correct time, or you lose important procs or status effects. While I enjoy the challenge of managing my cooldowns carefully, there have been plenty of times where I have needed to simply not use my abilities in order to stay in the 60+ energy range. This involves skipping entire sections of my rotation. Essentially, the energy model assumes controlled, sustained energy usage. This is not how concealment works. Only BHs/Troopers suffer from this resource management issue, and they have a ton of passive and active ways to get their resource back into the sustainable region during periods of heavy use. We need that for concealment. Lethality has a little of this, but it trades them for TA generation issues, which is not really an improvement.
  5. Pretty sure setting up separate forums isn't exclusive to fixing bugs.
  6. Winning/losing a match gain you comms. Additionally medals gain you comms. The value for winning or losing may be dependent on how well you win (or how poorly you lose) as well as the map.

    Told to leave

1 person cannot win or lose a warzone. It takes the cooperation of your team or the enemy for a single person to influence the outcome of the game. Tell them to be less collectively bad. Or just /ignore them if you don't want to be confrontational. Either way, just keep in mind that you cannot win or lose the warzone by your actions alone.
  8. Not sure where to put this request... I'd really like a separate forum for each server instead of this [sever Name] Thread Title posting system in an arbitrarily sectioned, alphabetized list of servers. The current system is ridiculous. Did you run out of money to host more forums? Is it that difficult and time intensive to set up additional forums? The current solution stinks of a lack of professionalism with managing your community, and it's something I'd expect from an amateur fan site rather than a company boasting over 1 million subscriptions.
  9. Why do people keep bashing Culling. It's not the strongest talent in the tree, yes. But 3% isn't something to sneeze at. Would you mock the damage buff of 150 expertise rating?

    Ops Leader question.

In the same way that 2% is a 100% increase over 1%, lol. If you have the reputation necessary to get people to listen, it's not going to matter whether you are the leader of the ops or not.

    Rep vs. Rep Huttball

Since people love Empire so much, and by extension Imp vs. Imp huttball, clearly this is part of the reroll incentive package. It even helps to bring the Republic win ratio up! Are your huttball matches between two full teams or less than 8v8?

    Ops Leader question.

Are you running premades, or queuing solo? Whenever I am in premades, the player with leader end up being ops leader. Also, ops leader doesn't mean anything, aside form the super special text color. Ever try to herd cats?

    Swtor --> swtoe

Well, you'll see drastic diminishing returns in the number of mission failures. Not sure what the problem is.
  14. Based on your conclusions supported by verifiable evidence, as well as your demonstrated knowledge of the intricacies of the game mechanics involved, I'd have to say that I am outraged by this as well.
  15. Who doesn't use Sever Tendon's Pin Down for PvP? Do you backpedal to your target as well? Keeping your target in melee range is how you keep the damage up.
  16. It would also provide solid proof that classes are horribly imbalanced. Can't have that.
  17. Reminds me of my mother's stories of trying to communicate with the army while doing contract work.
  18. We're at that point in the BW-Op relationship where we go out of our way to thank them for doing stuff they should have done, but neglected for 2 months, because we're afraid that if we don't show them enough love and gratitude, they'll hit us again. It's ok, though, they said they still love us.
  19. Lol, maybe the OP just gave up reading after the first clause in the adrenal description?
  20. There are a ton of bad pvp players in this game. I was recently in a huttball game with 5 ops. The other team had 5 mercs. You can see where this is going... At the end of the game (6-0, our loss, took about 10 minutes) the stats were as follows: My friend and I, both operatives, took top damage with just over 100k each and a high kill:death. In 3rd-8th place was their team. 8th place on was healers and the rest of our team. We had 1 op do under 20k dmg and healing. We were the only operatives to do well in that game. And it's not just because the others were bad, or that huttball just isn't our best map. Our class is inherently more difficult to play well than a tracer spamming merc. We don't have knockbacks or gap closers. Our survivability boils down to a 2 minute cooldown. Give me a sorc or a marauder (yes, they are op, people just don't realize it yet) and I will be able to absolutely dominate warzones. I play operative because I like the playstyle, but it's definitely underperforming. If I weren't constantly running premades and queuing solo instead, it would look pretty bleak. The average tor pvper cannot overcome the operative disadvantage in pvp compared to other classes. Excellent players can still perform well, but that's not the point. As much as I enjoy culling the stupid from our ranks, it's not a great way to conduct class balance.
  21. "You must be behind your target." FYI, explosive probe forces your client to update their true position if you ever find yourself in a situation where you just can't find them. Not a good solution by any means, but it's there if you remember (and are quick enough) to use it.
  22. I've noticed this a few times, but it's in no way consistent enough for me to find a pattern. It mostly seems like a random bug. Maybe it's related to the same class of bug that makes warriors/guardians force charge to the wrong target? The player targets someone else but the game sends the shots to you? Maybe it's a random AoE that is hitting us but we're not noticing? I've never seen someone exploiting it, so I don't think it's intentional.
  23. I run with the 2-piece rakata bonus. It's that good. Other than the matrix cube, everything is PvP geared and I'm very happy with the performance of my player.
