If he read it, and it said nothing about transferring to any server for free while it described how they were limiting transfers to a single destination, what is the confusion? There's been no word on when they will introduce a paid service, but they've already stated that at some point after the population issues have been addressed that they will likely be doing so. But you'll keep playing, won't you?

I can understand about wanting to see what the population looks like post transfer, but if the possibility of having to change a character name is going to prevent you from playing, it sounds like you are looking for a reason not to play.

I'd rather have half filled servers than ones flooded with wow-kids personally, but that could just be me.

Okay In retrospect, this is the same person you were having the disagreement with on this thread too, so I guess it doesn't count as "anyone else", but he does have a point about the luxury expenses and spending.

I read the post you quoted about getting a job, while his message was probably more direct that it could have been, he has a point about expenses. Whereas your posts have been bordering the troll line most of the morning and they're now starting to creep over it with the insults.

If there were issues with transferring items in the personal cargo bays, the forums would be lit up with people complaining about it, safe to say the personal banks will be fine.

Who created the character on your new server for you to play? Who chose the server that you rolled the new character on? Who made the choice to abandon your original server and re-roll? Who is ultimately responsible for your current level of frustration? All of those questions have the same answer, whether you want to admit it or not. That said, have some more patience and your server issues will be rectified when they finally add your server(s) to the list.

There are many frustrated players who feel the same way about waiting for server transfers, myself among them, but blindly expecting BW to open this service up in an uncontrolled fashion when they want to make sure it works just reeks of entitlement and sour grapes because they weren't chosen first. This isn't ordering a pizza, you don't get it in 30 minutes...just give them time to manage the transfers and verify that it works before condemning them for something they have every right to do: Make sure they do it right. The lists will be updated and expanded, and eventually every player who wants to know what will be done to fix the population issues for their server will have the answer they are wanting.

Certain companion quests can be unlocked earlier than levels intended, I had Mako's quest on DK unlock when I was 32, it was a level 40 mission and because I didn't notice the level attached to the quest I got hammered. The thing to consider is that when you look at the quest journal, you need to see what level the quest is to make sure you're the proper level to complete it, and if the elite was resisting all of your attacks it means you were so far below level that you had no chance of beating him. You should gain some levels until you are within the proper range to complete that quest, no nerf to enemy levels is needed.

If you recall, the Emperor's Hands informed you that the Jedi Knight didn't kill the true Emperor, only the vessel of his voice which replaced the one you killed on Voss to release his power and that he was recovering from the shock of losing 2 vessels in such a short period of time. I found the entire story engaging and well written especially the first and final acts, aside from the betrayal which couldn't be properly resolved with the changes to prevent you from killing a companion permanently.

If you have a modifiable weapon for vector, you can purchase the tionese saberstaff and transfer the mods over to it.

If they do that, then the "enemy" rolls an alt on your side and buys it anyway to send back over...also, see above post referring to smuggling and why it fits nicely in this instance.

Is it possible that they ignored aspects of that other game because they wouldn't work with what they were trying to produce? Without proper examples to put your statement into context we have only opinion which is subjective at best.

WoW's next expansion after Pandamonaria will have some version of Angry Birds, I'd put money on it.

It's not smarmy when he's got a point, raising the level cap does not mean that level 50 raids and flashpoints are automatically pointless. Nothing is keeping the player, casual or hardcore, from getting to 50 and then beginning operations and endgame progression as you level, by the time you get to 55 you will have better gear to help make the next tier of endgame content easier to deal with.
