  1. I wasn't talking about LOS or any of that. I was talking about people who are out in the open and try to strafe around ranged dps, it's silly, the ranged dps just stands in place and turns to follow the strafer. It's not hard to see the point I was trying to make. Debunk failed. Also, it's not theory when ranged dps players constantly use and practice it successfully.
  2. Strafing is funny. Unless you have your target cc'd an you need to get behind them for a position based skill, strafing is useless. Just turn to follow their movement and stay in place. You will always hit them if you are facing them and targeting them.
  3. How can you control all of the movement with only your mouse? I don't consider myself a newb at all, because I am constantly at the top of the charts for dps/kills/objectives. I currently use the keyboard and mouse for movement and abilities. 1-10 on my number bars the abilities I use left often I have on my second bar and have them keybinded to shift+1-10 but usually I will opt to click them instead. I use wasd +qe for my movement and will quick turn with my mouse. Also, I will add if you are a turret class (Mercanary Arsenal for example) you can get away with clicking, you are entirely immobile for the most part.
  4. Oh geez, I tried to find that. Ok, thank you.
  5. As title states, add a guild recruitment sub-forum for us to us for our recruitment needs. Also, adding a guild calendar to the game wouldn't hurt either. Thank you.
  6. And define "a lot" please. That figure seems too vague for me to really get a grasp at what you are trying to convey regarding subs.
  7. Exactly, more devs will want to try thier hand at it. However I don't think the market is big enough for more than 1 or 2 largely successful MMO's at a time. There is only so many MMORPG players.
  8. Half way through March? They released those numbers ealier this week. It is now March 9th. That is no where near "half-way through march". This kid can't even do simple math. Keep on doomsaying, the same thing was said last month. But guess what? THe numbers haven't changed bro! Keep on hatin!
  9. Obvisouly neither of our assumptions is validated. I have said many times, unless you work for BW, any crap anybody puts on these forums is just speculation. However, there is examples of what would be logical and what would be completely illogical. It's very hard to argue against logic. Illogical arguments are very easy to spot and pick to shreds.
  10. I have a server, its cap is 1,000. low pop: 1-250 standard: 251-500 high: 501-750 very high: 751-1,000 My thresholds are currently set at 25% per level. Over the next two months I increase my server cap to 1,500. The most logical choice would be to split that number again at 25% per level. However, what you are saying is that instead they did this. low pop: 1-250 standard: 251-500 high: 501-750 very high: 751-1,500 My pop thresholds are now 16%/16%/16%/50% <--- see how ridiculous that looks? Obviously this is just an example and no indicative of BW's actual servers, but it at least points out how ridiculous this thinking is. And no I don't work at BW, but neither do you. And at least my argument is logical, where as yours is just a fist full of straws.
  11. Um no? Explain. Please don't try and tell me that BW has spent 200m in the last three months just in operating expenses.
  12. This is a ridiculous assumption on your part. Why would they NOT change the thresholds? Why would they just increase the population caps of the servers only to leave the thresholds the same? After they increase the caps, WHICH of the thresholds is affected then? They have to add those numbers somewhere, so which of the thresholds do they add those numbers to? No they never said anything about increasing thresholds, probably because they shouldn't have to. RE-defining the thresholds is the most logical choice in the matter. Maybe they should have spelled it out more clearly for the slow kids so that people couldn't come up with such idiotic theories.
  13. Sure.. But when they launched on the 29th and on March 1st, any sub numbers recieved from Asia would NOT be indicative of subscription numbers right now. 1.7 Million subs would NOT include at the very minimum the March 1st numbers, possibly even the 29th purchases.
  14. Are you kidding? Changing the cap would obviously change the server capacity levels. Expand the capacity of ther server and now you have increased the window for the server to show as standard vs heavy. It's not event hat hard to figure out. Answer me this: Do you work for BW?
  15. As if the operating costs are any where near the development costs... Operating costs for an MMO are ridculously cheap in comparison.
  16. BW has repeatedly told everyone that they increased the server cap gradually over time. What was once heavy is now standard, what was once standard is now low. Pretty simple really. Check the dev announcements and Q&A and you will know these things.
  17. Quoted for truth. I don't know if you caught it, but how he could even call a 1.5 second cast "an instant?"
