  1. Mah, I still think AoE KB combined with Root is tad OP, but mah Ill survive. Also what other penalty do you want? It already takes away 50% of our HP. Yes, its nothing when we are low HP, but when we are getting low HP where it becomes effective with the 50% HP cost, we risk of getting CC'd and finished before we even have a chance to pop out "God Mode". But sure I agree... Make the ability while in bubble take 99% less damage and also take 99% less healing, but than also remove the cost of 50% of HP... Does that sound good to you? I think its balanced this way. You will stop crying about us getting heales, and we dont have to risk anything when we use it, as we can use it any time we want?
  2. Sigh... Well sure lets nerf the only ability that makes this class shine, and the only ability where the other guy has to think what to do... But first lets remover some abilities from this game: Knock Back, Stun, Sleep, Root and Snare... After that sure, nerf or even remove our "Guarded by the Force/Undying Rage" ability. Ohh by the way, as you might have noticed. Abilities I mention to be removed is pretty much a counter to our so called 5 sec of God Mode... So yeah, whats the problem people? You cant counter 5 seconds? You get pissed that he gets healed while he is in that bubble? You are 100% sure that this one 4 sec ability will brake rated warzone? You whine that we can still do out 100% damage while in the bubble? God, its like you people just started playing this game... * What about Vanish? Smuggler/IA and Inq/Cons DPS speced AC's give you ability to get out from anything? Yes, the nobos will get cought by AoE and the Scan ability, the good ones will not... Not to mention to again be able to use an 5 sec CC ability for Smuggler/IA after the use vanish. * What about Force Speed? Combined with bubble, you can get out of anything... So you guys want to remove the one ability that makes good Sents/Mara shine? Because it is so hard to CC the guy that uses a 4 sec Bubble that makes him immune to damage. Ohh his resolve bar is full? Use Snare or even Root, and boom you render the guys useless and he will die after the 4 sec of him trying to catch up to you run out... Please guys learn to play before you come here and say somthing is OP, cause to be honest, that bubble is the easiest thing to counter. Even if there is a healer Healing him... Yes, I play one... And yes I own people with this class. When ever I use Guarder by the force I will 90% of the time either kill the target or do tons of damage to him and Escape to than finish him of while his guard is down. The other 10% Ill will be killed by good players that know how to use theire CC to counter what ever I throw at them..

  4. What this guys said... But... 4man Tank and 4man Healer Pre-made is somthing else ;p But than again will have it flaws, as it will be realy ahrd to get objectives with the little amount of DPS. Only good if you control 2/3 Objectives or Huttball...
  5. Well best would be to make Vidio where you compare the 2 specs to each other. As I assume you want to make a "Guid" for sentinels in doubt? So make a vid where you show PvP/PvE footage of you using the different abilities, the damage you what kind of damage and so on >.>
  6. Well Overload Saber stacks with it self, it does not realy apply 3 DoT's. So every time you hit the target with it you dont get a new DoT, but you get bigger damage on the DoT you already have on him. So you increasse the damage of the DoT and refresh its timer. So yes, only 2% every time the Overload Saber DoT procs a crit.
  7. Ohh God guys, dont feed the trolls... I already saw the poor troll atemt after the 1st counter to some one saying he did somthing a good sentinel will do in avarage on Voidstar. Please, for the love of the greater good, make this thread die and dont reply. All new sentinels gona start thinking that if they beat 500k they are in top 10 of all sentinels out there, which for fact we know aint the case... So again, let it die... Did also the trolls and the OP see this SS? As its seems we have some one with proof that he beat 700k limit with a Watchman spec Sentinel. So only by this have we already proven OP wrong, as he satets he have done most damage of any (Singeltarget DPS) Sentinel out there. And about 80% of argumants have been proven, as we all stated over and over again 500k is avarage for a good Sentinel on a Long Voidstar match. The OP (and his trolling friend) is nothing but lowbee Epeen seekers, who dont have skill, but try to prove the World wrong by posting average damage on forums claming to be the best player out there. Let it die guys... PS: Yes you trolls, my grammar is rubbish, but to be honest I am not bothered to check it. As all the energy I use here is just going to waist, just like your poor atemts at trolling people.
  8. If not wrong its only agains Guild members that you cant fight, even when outside the group... Other players from same faction should be enemy
  9. You do guys know Overload Saber stacks... So 1 stack will do 200 damage a tick, 2 stacks will do 400 damage a tick and 3 stack will do 600 damage a tick. Not that OS will do 200 + 200 + 200 damage a tick when 3 stacks. So what this mean is Zen will proc much better and healer quicker than Overload saber alone. And for highest numbers Zen should be saved after 3 stacks of Overload saber.

  11. Ohh god, you and your screenshot... Did you had to travel to Australia to actualy confirm that its not just another Hollywood made up country? No, no one said 700k is "everyday PUG" damage, what we said is that a realy good player can brake 700k damage without much trubble if the "condition" are perfect. This was for me one time so for another guy in here, dont belive us, wait til you get full BM gear with custemized mods and you will see... Back on topic, yes 500k is avarage on long Voidstar, want proof on that? Well here is 1 Screenshot I took, only because this was done on a hybrid spec (Combat/Focus) where I focus mostly around crit on Force Sweep, Bladestorm and Zealus Leap. As any good Sentinel out there will know, this is a rubbish build for damage, and pure Watchman or even Focus will beat this any day (as I did with a little above 700k damage). So yes, prove me wrong that on a long round Voidstar its hard to get over 500k damage, especialy with Watchman build?
  12. Well lets see you creat a thread where you state that no one have done more damage than you, and what you are saying is that you are best sentinel there (The big picture)... So yes, I dont boost my so called epeen when I mention my stats to show you that its just avarage for realy good players. Also as stated before I almost never take SS in any games, even if I feel like I am the best player on not. Because for some people, there is no need to state that you are good, you just need to show it in game enought times to get noticed. In the end its just a game, where everything will be forgoten once somthing better is out. So i theory there is no point in trying to show of or prove somthing, as in 1-2 years it wont matter.
  13. This... Got a little ove 700k once on Voidstar, with same conditions as this guy had. Sadly, dident take any screenshot that time and to be honest rearly do take screan shot, as have no need to boost my epeen ;p Alsos the 500k is avarage on a long round to most good Sentinles/Mara... So yeah, what was you point with this thread OP? Did you want people go "You so pro" for some avarage damage?
  14. Force Leap seem to actualy get ressisted if the enemy has full Resolve bar. Master Strike seems to have 50% chance to get ressisted wth full resolve bar. Wierdly the Crippling Throw does not... This is all from experiance from PvP. That said, you can keep them at bay for long long time ;p
  15. Dont know m8, but I think you might be a little wrong there. YEs, Combat is totaly different style of gamplay than Watchman, but watchman does bring more burst damage and overall damage to play... That said, I played Combat all the way from 1-50 in PvE and 1-57 in PvP, and I did find Combat my playing style as I love all the immonilize it brings so its much easier to control the target. At that time I was also most of the time in top 2 in damage beeing beaten by mostly Coms/BH and realy good Gunn/Snipers, this while beeing Champ in BM brackets. So I gues I have some experiance when it comes to Combat. So than I thought I give Watchman a try and gues what on the 5 1st WZ matches my avarage damage went up by 100k. Yes, that was damage when I just switched to a totaly new spec and had only some clue on how to effectivly use it. Now when I do have clue about the tree mechanics, I prety much burst down people much quicker than I did with Combat. Even thought on paper this should not be true. Yes, I do hate this Watchman player style, and every match miss my ultility in locking a target down and just pop my instant abilities insted of having to build up the burst. The biggest problem with Combat and why it lack the same numbers as Watchman is the fact that Bladestorm is to buggy. This is getting fixed in 1.2(?) to have the same animation time as Force Scream, so should fix its 2 times before trigger bug. Same goes for master strike, which at least now you can re-trigger if it get bugged after the GCD is of, not like before where you had to wait for the whole 3 sec. This is the biggest issues, as our most damaging abilities we have in Combat dont trigger 50% of the time... Jess, wall of text. Summery is that Combat will again be useful after 1.2 for those that like that style of play. For now Watchman and Focus is the better build.
  16. Now, the initial damage (starting damage) is physical attack, DoT damage is still Force damage.
  17. Whats witht he false tumors? Balde Storm hits for about 1k-1.5k less base damage than Merc Slash. So make your numbers when it crits for both... That said Combat is not a bad spec, its just it lack damage you get from Watcchman both in PvE and PvE, thats a fact. Anyone saying anything else is clueless and is just making gueses. I know it, because I was Combat and later on Hybrid Combat/Focus build (Blade Storm for 1Focus 6s CD build) and know that for the damage you do with pure Combat spec you can do 1/3 more damage with Watchman. The only thing that makes Combat at all in line with the other two specs is it "Roots", rest is at best avarage...
  18. Meh, it ok its all depends on whats your playing style. Some people will hate it others will love it... I myself would recommend: This Build, the one I use myself... Mostly because I have tested it out and have optimized its damage and ultility to my player style...
  19. No, yellow hits are force type of attack... Just look at Ataru Proc, the color code is same as DoT damage. Even devs said the the color codes should tell you if its a normal attack or a force attack. SO yes insight does benefit DoT. So in theory you can have talants give you 21% Crit chance when in combat (15% Stance stack and 6% insight).
  20. The questin was why you at all spec Focus than? You get more than enought speed/ultility from Watchman only, and with the 2 Talents that build Cnturing, you will have almost full uptime on the Speedbuff, rather than specing and using points in FOcus for just 10 Centuring and a 10m leap...
  21. Meh bad spec... You take worst parts of every spec. Take nothing good (Foucs Gen and Damage Increas on DoT) from Watchman and nothing good from Focus (Auto crit on Sweap?) So yeah go back to the drawing table ;p The only usefull hybrid spec that I have come up with is http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#501oZGGrM00roMZGMRrzb.1 And that is only because of the ability to spam Blade Storm for 1 Focus and 6s CD and have free slash from Zen that does maddive damage.

  23. Insight... Even when 2 points. To be honest all this sentinel say 6s Force kick is a must. I have to say no, good sentinels should be able to manage theire interupt without the need of the extra 2s... Just saying, I have yet to lose a battle because of a missing interupt. Should you realy need an interupt, you can always use your "Force Stassis" and in worst case "Awe".
  24. Ohh mand, this class is actualy the most rewarding class out there... Beeing able to win 2v1 or even 3v1 if you are realy good is the best feeling ever. So yeah it is rewarding, as you will start to be feared by people, even more as they see that they are unable to kill you even when they focus you.
  25. Sigh... People have so little clue about DR on the things in game... First of, the crit chance on your stat is the one that has diminishing returns, crit/surge and what not else that you get from talent tree does not have DR. IF it had you would see abilities that have 100% chance to crit (130% with stat) having DR and droping it down to what 60-70%? So yes, spec into crit/sruge in talents are good for anything. Do you have 25% crit chance from stats? Its still good to get insight as it adds base 6% crit chance to crit on DoT's. Stack this with the 15% chance for the stance buff and boom, you are up to 46% chance to crit on DoT's. So to be hoenst the best thing would be to cap base crit at 29% so with everything stacked you have 50% chance to crit with you DoT's. I am sorry to say, but I mean who ever say that 50% chance to crit and do 100% (70% Surge + 30% Surge Talant) more damage AND have a 50% chance to heal yourself for 2% of your hp (Talant) is just beeing stupid.
