  1. Awesome. There are SO many baddie level 50 PvErs trying to pvp for gear. I won 7 straight matches in a row yesterday pugging it and having no pocket healer. Though, I AM on a PvE server so it is expected. It just makes me laugh how PvPers below lvl 50 do more damage, or better overall in PvP than all these baddie lvl 50s. Well, feels better rolling over 50s than it does 10s.
  2. I know as well. Not only is it bad in PvP, but it's horrible in 16 man ops. 8man ops or regular PvE, I get no lag and I mash buttons fine, but anymore than that, the mad UI lag is horrible. Anyway, IMO if you don't want major issues with a few skills, our lag, and more QQing about looks, roll Concealment (melee) operative. If you are willing to find ways and deal with our issues, roll Marauder, it's definitely worth it. If they ever do help out our class, it will be even more worth it in the future.
  3. Can't wait. There are some lowbie oranges that looked really nice.
  4. That is NOT Tionese, Columni, Rakata, Centurion, Champion, or Battlemaster or part of a set. It is also a level 50 epic medium armor! http://i410.photobucket.com/albums/pp189/barcode120x/Screenshot_2012-01-19_21_29_15_034800.jpg Lolz I just had to post this. Maybe some people will stop QQing now Got it doing 16 man normal Karagga's Palace; however, Rakata > Xenotech http://www.torhead.com/item/9vZW2be/xenotech-weaponmasters-vest
  5. YES, someone I agree with on accuracy! Thank God. I'm seriously tired of people saying "get 110% accuracy FIRST or you fail."
  6. I'm still reluctant to focus on Accuracy. I can say that I don't miss with only 104%. I pay attention well to all my hits and how much I hit for and I don't ever recalling a "miss" unless it was due to a debuff. Until someone posts actual data or even a video of how effecient Accuracy is, it will stay down on my stat list. Though, another reason to get over 100% is the armor reduction, but IMO that's really only useful against tanks, which still aren't that bad. Aside from Strength, my 2nd stat is Surge, then Crit, then Power (I would put Power before Crit but it seems most mods come with Surge/Crit). With Beserk, we don't need to focus on Crits as much since it's basically an auto crit (and we generate a lot of Fury pretty fast). Surge (especially the adrenal) are situational though. It's only helpful when you actually Crit so one may actually but that one last and replace that with Power or Crit. It's preference really, but I seem to do a LOT more damage after switching from the Power adrenal to the Surge adrenal and I'm even getting the 75k heal medal lol
  7. I was simply replying to what Hoseman said about Marauders sucking in PvP. I said nothing about us being or not being under powered. Should really watch your tongue . If I had to say, it's smart to play with a guild and a healer if possible. I see no reason why not too. Puts yourself at an advantage over others being in a pre-made. And no, this game is not a solo game, PvE or PvP aspect of it. As what diet-water said, make use of what you have. You have a pocket healer? Use it.
  8. I'm guessing that applies to you only? Lolz.
  9. Any spec: Force Charge Crippling Slash Rupture (if you are Annihilation spec) Force Choke Pretty simple really. For me it's the Crippling Slash that makes PvP ezmode
  10. I use Ravage to get off the first two hits of it then cancel it and use another skill. Despite the animation being being bugged, the first 1.5 secs or so gets the first 2 hits/damage off Ravage can simply move to cancel the animation; however, the 3rd hit in Ravage is what does the most damage I believe.
  11. This. Unless you're used to PvP and being to distinguish if you're up against an opponent with PvP gear or not, you might be caught up thinking your damage sucks. Easy way to test your crit damage out is to pick out an under-50 enemy and see how much you hit for. But yeah, 2.7k crit off Smash in PvP is really low.
  12. IMO as a Marauder (deee peeee esss) no reason to get defense gear. Just stack gear that increases damage and such. Lot of a people are complaining that we are squishy at can't survive in PvE or PvP, but every class is like that. If you ever get stuck in tough situations, don't forget to pop your shields, medpacks, and stims.
  13. To a point. Like I said, it's fine for now and when you don't plan doing hardcore PvP or endgame stuff.
  14. I tend to disagree with the Accuracy. I duno if it's just me or maybe it's not properly implemented but I hardly ever miss. In fact I never see myself miss my targets and I'm only at about 104% (PvE or PvP). Well I'm Annihilation spec and I actually don't see a reason to get that much high accuracy since our bleeds don't "miss".
  15. As Nma said, everyone has their own specialty but I disagree with you about the off-hand talent tree damage increase. Sure our spec specializes in bleeds, but we can't land those bleeds with doing actual melee attacks. You DO realize that Annihilate (the skill) is not a bleed skill but a burst skill and that DWM does affect the amount of damage you can do with it greatly. It also applies to Rupture as well since most will pick up Deep Wound talent. It too applies to Ravage, BA, Assault...I think you get where I'm going. If DWM didn't beef up off-hand damage by 36% and was much less, then yeah, it probably wouldn't be useful. 36% is a lot. Defensive form does help out not only in adding Rage, but also giving 4% extra elemental defense. That being said, the 2nd row in Carnage tree is actually good as opposed to spending all the talents in Rage or even the rest in Annihilation (some of the talents are not needed). Force Camo doesn't necessarily make you invincible even if you pick up the talent to reduce the damage taken (which I believe is useless since they can't even see you pretty much). It's more of a get away trick. Predation is good as well and so is the talent that boosts the increase movement speed, but that talent is also not worth getting because if you are Annihilation spec, one would be focusing on Beserk rather than Predation. Don't get me wrong, I always use both, but Predation always comes 2nd to Beserk therefore, talents buffing up Predation are not needed.
  16. I personally see that quite boring. In the videos, pictures, games, movies, cartoons, etc you almost always see a Sith with a red LS and a Jedi with a blue or green LS. It is partially that I like to be different, but I like to see a variety in colors, especially since one can do it themselves. I definitely regret going Dark Side with my SW because I could never use green or blue (I actually was able to use blue but I think it was a small bug ) and had to be stuck with red and yellow. I think it's cool to see a SW, especially a marauder using dual LS that are blue or green while the Republic's mirrored class is using red and/or yellow LS. Endgame gear kind of sucks though since you are stuck with using ONLY the red, black-red, and/or purple. I mean you can go ahead and slot in other color crystals but their stats don't add up high enough.
  17. For orange pieces, I believe it's the "armoring" mod that defines how much armor rating the chest piece has. If this is true, you could mod all your light armor and have the same armor rating as if those pieces are in the medium armor. Endgame, this is flawed since epic pieces (purple rarity) do not have an "armoring mod" slot and already have designated stats to fit the wearer (such that epic light armor pieces will always and only contain endurance/willpower and such). This applies to both PvE and PvP end-game (tier 1, 2, and 3) armor pieces. However, I believe the devs did mention somewhere that they will eventually "fix" this so that one could wear their favorite armor model AND still have all the epic or legendary mods in them. There is no ETA on when that will happen and with all the current server bugs and such I doubt that won't come for another few months at the least.
  18. Hehe it is. Running a bunch of raids this week so I'm hoping on winning the main hand Rakata
  19. Then again, it's all about play-ability and the L2P aspect of the player. I have no problem PvE, I don't even use Quinn. PvP is pretty much the same. I only get rick rolled when gang-banged but even then, Force Camo is the way to go and probably is considered my #1 survivablility skill.
  20. AFAIK, Massacre was meant to replace VS. There was a thread a week or two ago regarding the base damage for each where VS is actually slightly higher than Massacre. The reason why Massacre replaces VS because of its effect, the Ataru Form effect. Basically Massacre out damages VS because of all the mad procing of Ataru Form.
  21. Pop a medpack that heals 2.5k or more = free medal. If you are pro Annihilation spec and pump up your surge you can get the 75k healing medal (which is so easy for me) Those that you listed + the ones I just did are pretty much the main ones to get that are easy (well except the 75k healing medal if you aren't Annihilation spec). As for huttball, I think they only count towards Objectives which I think give extra commendations, but there aren't actually medals for them unfortunately (touch down/killing them afaik).
  22. We are not that squishy. Just need to learn when to pop your shield, stims, and meds for both PvE and PvP.
