I haven't been back to the game a week yet I think and SO much has changed since I last played. I'm looking to get some information from the community here to maybe help me narrow my class choice down. I'm wanting to DPS at endgame (that still exists right? haha) and I'm sorta of pulled between all the classes a bit, a little less on the caster roles for DPS. Before I left the game I was maining a Mercenary Bounty Hunter and am no longer picking up any old characters I had because I want a fresh start. I'm looking for some information that is up to date on the DPS comparison's between the respected classes. I like the Idea of a Operative DPS/Scoundrel (I think is the mirror) but I"m unsure to it's performance, if it's competitive, desirable in groups (I do not heal btw), I also would like to know about Jedi Guardian DPS and Trooper. I suppose I'm mainly needing an up to date area I can go to for all my needs if one exists. I can't seem to find any video's displaying the style of play for the classes, they all seem to be PvP which I don't do. If you guys could help me out I would be most gracious.

Despite all the negative feedback i've read about Powertech dps and all the negative replies I have recieved in game, I have chosen to continue playing my PT DPS, being only lvl 23 at the moment I'm having fun with it and wish to dps at endgame. My question does not pertain to PvP, I could care less about that, I'm mainly PvE oriented and need to know your guys thoughts on a leveling spec that would turn out best results in regards to speed and FP (FP mainly being tank spec I would guess) Right now i'm leveling at Pyrotech but I was thinking of trying Advanced Prototype out. What are your guys thoughts?

So I've finally narrowed my choice for a dps down between to classes that most will probably suggest going tank on...no thanks. I'm stuck between an Assassin and Juggernaut. Could some of you that have experience with these give me some input on the dps of these at endgame? how viable they are and such?

Seriously, I've started leveling one a few days ago and am now at level 21 and I'm loving it. I have nothing to complain about, I intend to do full dps at endgame but I keep hearing so much bashing on the style of play. it's discouraging because I'm not sure if a DPS Jugg is wanted/needed or is even viable at endgame. I'd like some input from you guys who know what it's like, I'm not going to stop leveling my Jugg because I'm set on dpsing with him. I just don't get what the complaints and bashing is all about.

I'm thinking of going republic side and going Gunslinger, I have a Sniper on Empire side but only around 23 level right now. Is there any differences besides the Rifle/dual pistols that each one uses to differ itself? if there are no differences really to notice then I may as well just keep leveling my Sniper. Just checking in with you guys first, those who have played and are playing Gunslingers.

Hey guys, gonna be playing a Jedi Guardian DPS. What i'm looking for is a server where the Republic is pretty decent at PvE and even PvP if possible, EST is preferred but it doesn't make that much of a difference to me. What suggestions on servers do you guys have?

Hey guys, I'm looking for a change in the game so i'm swapping over to Republic side from my Bounty Hunter/Marauder play on Empire side. What I"m looking for mainly is suggestions on servers, I'm EST so if you can suggest a good server where Republic is pretty decent at PvE and possibly PvP that's a bonus if not time zone isn't that big of a deal to me. I'm going to be playing a Jedi Guardian DPS.

So it seems that Biochem, Cybertech, and Scavenging seem to be a decent combo?

After hitting 55 last night I set out and obtained a few new pieces of gear from flashpoints, I open my crew skill window up for the first time since 50 and well....I still have Biochem, Bioanalysis, and Slicing. I figure something needs to be rearranged with this new patch and stuff. What crew skills will best benefit me an my bounty hunting friends out there? Is what I have right now a good combo to stay with? I only play one character by the way, so alt crafting is very uninteresting to me. I'd rather have 3 crew skills i can run with on one toon and benefit from it rather well, if possible. I am a DPS Merc also, no healing done.
