  1. Thanks to both of you! I will surely enjoy my solo play as well as future group play!
  2. So, I played years ago as a Marauder and when I was playing last year, I played a Jedi Guardian, but only up to lvl 55 and rarely any operations or flash points. Decided to start completely fresh with the new update. I don't mind tanking in small flash points, but I don't want to really do it in end game operations. Will guilds/groups let a Sith Juggernaut come as DPS? Or should I kind of suck it up and expect to tank and if not, roll as a pure DPS class instead.
  3. I average 350k per match with a few matches at 400k+ with Annihilation spec. I NEVER run with a pocket healer (aside from those randos in the party that actual do heal you). It all boils down to who is on the other team as well as your team and what gear they have. It all comes down to your bleeds and bleed crits really. Always use Beserk, do everything you can to get bleeds off on multiple players. Though, I have not PvP'd since the latest patch (lazy to get to BM after hitting Champion; I've been playing my Jugg alt much more). To me, the main contributing factor is your team and their team and what gear each has.
  4. Yet there are very few healers that are this good on my server or even a hybrid spec sorc. Annihilation spec Marauders will still rock healers (with the exception of good Merc/Commandos). Sorcs are the easiest to kill of all 3 healer classes IMO. We already have decent snares. Force Charge, Force Choke, Rupture (if you pick up the reduced speed), and Crippling Slash. We do NOT need the opponent to stand still in order get our bleeds off. As long as they're slowed, no problem here. Don't get me wrong, I would kill to have another snare, stun, or CC, but that really isn't an issue that makes us NOT viable. Though, I would agree to have the bleeds tick faster. I really do not see a problem with CD for any skills. Annihilate skill already adds a charge to reduce it's next Annihilate. Both Annihilate and Vicious Slash have a high chance of resetting the CD of Rupture and Deadly Saber's CD is already short as is.
  5. Depends on which spec. If your Annihilation, to me, the most obvious would be surge/crit; however, Annihilate skill does and can hit VERY hard so power is an option. My bleeds do most of the damage so I stick to that. I'm assuming he's talking about PvP so AFAIK no PvP relics with expertise have an augment slot unlike craftable ones which can get that BUT they do not have expertise.
  6. Damage Primary: 650 - 801 Damage Secondary: 199 - 299 Bonus Damage: 347.7 Accuracy: 97.63% (lulz, and I still rock in PvP; don't get me wrong, less than 1% of the time do I actually see myself miss or get parried) Crit Chance: 32.84% Crit Multiplier: 79.61% Str: 1415 w/ stim Endurance: 1282 Power: 209 ~Self Buffed~ High Crits: 4kish or Annihilate; I've seen a few bleeds tick for 1.2k (I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure that's true since I was quite far from the target as he ran off in my bleeds) Average Solo BG Damage: 350kish (highest is 450k, SS in my sig) Talent Build: Annihilation (31/10/0) My stats are actually quite ALL OVER THE PLACE, but I'm paying no attention to fixing my modifications to better equate my stats when I get a good source of Rakata and Columni and Champion gear where I can rip out the mods. I average 350k damage solo with these messy stats and it gets me a **** ton of medals and valor, so I have no issues with doing "minor" fixes.
  7. Total bad luck. I got 4/5 champion set + implants/ear pieces/weapon before I even hit 40 valor while MANY guildies and friends have hit 50+ valor and still don't have as many T2 pvp pieces. Same goes for PvE gear. First run I got 4 Rakat pieces (was like 3 weeks ago+) and haven't seen any Rakata SW pieces since.
  8. I do know the hit box on Gharj, how it's extremely large, which is actually a very good thing; however, I don't experience it on my Annihilation marauder. A fellow guildie has been a Carnage marauder and never had an issue on Gharj.
  9. Well aside from the guy that replied below mine, my post actually wasn't supposed to troll at all.
  10. This is true. Words of God I would say. You should make this a thread, have it stickied AND locked.
  11. Someone needs to L2P, that's all I can say. There really isn't much to it other than L2P. Sigh, a lot of people except to own whenever they pick a class and that right there is plain out wrong. It takes hours of practice and skill before one can actually learn to own. Marauder is one of these classes like other classes. Not to mention you only hit 40 on your Marauder, that isn't even half of it. There's no real skillful pvp in the 1-49 bracket nor are there "hardcore" FP so you can't really say all that if you haven't even hit 50, made an attempt to PvP for hours, and/or have done Hardmode FP and/or Operations. Not only does it take skill to play ANY class, it also takes gear.
  12. If you have the Annihilate skill at lvl 40 then yes you can. You still may be able to get it using Ravage or Force Scream upon crits. Didn't really think about anyone below 50 xD. Even then, below 50, you can still obtain a good amount of medals. I'd say at least 4 or 5.
  13. Yes, Annihilation ***** healers and I love it. Healers are ALWAYS my first target.
  14. Easy for any1 to get any medals in pvp. The color of the medal has no affect on your valor/commendations afaik. I believe it's just simply showing off that you did awesome. Easy medals: Quick Draw - finishing hit Assassin - solo kill (1v1 fight) Commando - 10 kills Soldier - 25 kills Demolisher - 2.5k damage from a single attack Defender - 1k defense points Warden - 3k defense points Combatant - 75k total damage dealt With any spec as a Marauder by looking at this, anyone and everyone should be getting at least 7 medals.
