  1. Even if the stories branched at only one spot halfway into the game, that would add another 20 hours of content for each class. It's not really feasible.
  2. Waah, my video games have video game mechanics in them, waaaah!
  3. Freezing someone in carbonite and keeping them alive, according to Vader, had never been done before, not freezing somebody at all. Even if that's the case, Vader is hardly the authority on all human history, remembered and forgotten. Human civilization on Earth has existed for about 12,000 years. We've done a lot, and forgot a lot of what we've done. Human civilization in Star Wars has existed over 50,000 years. I'm sure they've done, and forgotten, much more than we have.
  4. So what your saying is that you didn't like the story, and to validate your dislike, you are assuming false credentials to somehow make your argument hold more authority. I only suspect this because the numerous grammatical errors as well as the generally unprofessional pacing and structure of your post. I don't know what your profession is, but I doubt it's writing. I'm fine with your opinion, but don't try to exert authority you don't have to attempt to raise your thoughts behind subjectivity -- it's just a pet peeve of mine.
  5. It goes from level 1 to 50 and ends with "interlude." That can take as long as you make it. Some people have finished an entire class storyline in like over a weekend. I don't know how, but hey, you can apparently.
  6. And your credentials to "professionally critique" this story are?
  7. Yes, yes he would. Case in point - How many Dark Jedi turned Sith are in the game as NPCs? None, all of them are bred within the Empire. It's a True Sith Empire, this isn't the Jedi Civil War or the Dark Brotherhood, this is a group of people who believe in their blood lineage over all else. Oh please, yourself.
  8. Sith and Jedi are organizations of force users, they are not alignments.
  9. With the way the storyline is constructed there's no way for you to fall and become a Sith. It just wouldn't work. Also, in terms of storyline, right now a Jedi, dark or not, would not be welcomed into the True Sith Empire, but instead tortured and slaughtered. they are at war, and a former Jedi who may or may not be a spy is a liability, not an asset.
  10. Darth Vader was a Darth, a Sith Lord, and an Apprentice to Darth Sidious.
  11. They aren't continuity errors, they are design decisions. A Continuity errors are like this: We can visit a planet called Hoth, a world that was not named until 2,000 years later. or The Hutt homeworld being named incorrectly Hutta when it's actually Nal Hutta ("Glorious Jewel.")
  12. Yes, but that did surely take out a huge chunk of the population, no?
  13. He was a Zabrak. The color of his skin has to do with full black and red body tattoos he gave himself. colors of the Sith, a sign of absolute devotion and alignment.
  14. Almost all of them were either interbred with Human Sith (Dark Jedi), many were killed or turned into monsters through Sith Alchemy on Yavin IV, and the rest just died away. There are likely still some left in the galaxy, but not pureblood, and likely no longer under the name "Sith."
  15. they solved this apparently with the Sith Inquisitor.
  16. It takes too much concentration to sustain flight.
  17. By the end of The Great Hyperspace Wars there existed several classes of Sith. - Dark Jedi Warriors -- masters over the true blooded Sith who became their mortal gods. - Hybrid Sith -- Half human half true Sith. - Pureblood Sith -- Obviously, pure Sith. So what changed this? Time mostly. We aren't talking decades here, we are talking centuries. Interbreeding starting to blur the line between the bloodlines, also many of the enslaved Purebloods were later taken to Yavin and turned into monsters by some sinister Sith Lords. You were left with very few True Sith left and quite a few ruling Dark Jedi pure humans, with a mixture hybrids that looked more human than Sith. Also, this is still before they began conquering forgotten outer rim worlds full of humans and non-humans alike.
  18. We have 8 classes with separate stories, with definite progression of the world from Prologue to Act III. That's great, but what's next? When I'm done all 8 classes storyline quests, is the game over? What is the current plans for the storyline? Will we be progressing it with extra content post Act III? New worlds? New classes? Any word on what's next?
  19. Back in my day we had to wait ten minutes for a shuttle to arrive that would take us to the starport, for another ten minute wait until the next ship came by to bring us to one of the hub worlds. From there we had to wait another ten minutes until the ship came by once more to take us to whatever fringe planet we were heading to. A trip from Anchorage, Tatooine to Dathomir would take almost 40 minutes. I'm not crying about a few minutes of load screens.
  20. Dromund Kaas is in the far outer rim in the Esstran sector. It's unexplored space, far beyond any trade routes that the current Republic uses. It's near the Chiss, whose dominion was undiscovered by the galaxy proper for almost 2,900 years after this game. I believe you are misjudging it. They actually stick more to the Mandalore style imagery. The Jedi during times of war, even in the films, were seen donning some heavy duty armor to protect themselves. Aayla Secura and many other "Jedi Generals" were seen in Episode III and in the Clone Wars series donning Clone Trooper styled body armor underneath their robes.
  21. The Galactic Republic is a unicameral federal republic, it's likely closest to a country like the United States, where each planet is essentially a state. They hold their own local governments, have their own laws, but have given up their rights to local military and currency for a centralized federal power structure.
