  1. Based on what you have so far. 1: Your game play is a lot like Star Wars: Rebel Assault where you move your mouse to Steer & Aim. What is Missing in The Old Republic is "Which Way? Left, Right, Up, or Down?" type of Path Steering. 2: In Star Wars: Galaxies you could choose your Patterns & Colors, but it was missing something that F-Zero GX had, Decals such as the Mario Mushroom & more. But I think we, the Players, could come up with some Rough-Drafts that you could Refine. Wish I could send you My Suggested Pic & I'll Explain What it Means.
  2. G. Lucas said that this what his Stories was all about, & I Agree 100%. His BFF, Steve Spielberg, has used this type of thought process in E.T. & Indiana Jones: The Last Crusade before George said his Quote. Role-Playing Games, not just this one but D&D, WoW, & more could be used in what I call Game-Treatment (any other Title would be fine). The objective of Therapy Through Fun (Alternate Title) would be to build scenarios that doesn't just improve the character you are playing as, but you as your own character. I'm saying this not just as a Fan of Star Wars, but as a fellow Psychologist (Xenopsychologist to be exact) & someone with a Diagnosis similar to Temple Grandin, Autism. She improved the Beef Industry by becoming the Mythological Minotaur (Thinking like a Bovine: Cows & Bulls), & she is not the only Animal Whisperer. Bottom Line: Work with psychologists like Nathan Hook & Sarah Lynne Bowman to create a new RPG engines that can allow Therapists to create Scenarios with their Clients permission(s). Notes Xenopsychologist/Xenopsychology: A funny name to a serious field of study with the theory Peoples personalities are as diverse as Biology itself, the range goes as high as Felidae, Canidaes, & Ursidae to as low as Viruses & Bacteria. I won't divulge what type of Intelligence Test would be used to validate & confirm this theory, but just like the Justice League & the Avengers, we may soon build a Xavier Institute, a true Jedi Academy. But my dream will only be like Walter Disney's.
  3. If one person creates a "Legacy" name, can another person use that name with permission of the originator? PS What You See Is What I'll Be "Vinsable"
  4. When you say "Guild," do you mean in game or out of game? And what type of questions are you going to ask? I know I tried to start a guild with my own philosophies, but it didn't turn out right. All in all I would like to recomend Sarah Lynne Bowman, author of The Functions of Role-Playing Games & an adjunct professor at the University of Texas at Dallas, Richland College, Ashford University, and Brookhaven College, to be part of the discussion for new scenarios and/or character creation advise as mentioned in chapter 6 of her book. Don't take this the wrong way, but I'm not realy disguntled about my "Guild" situation. I just think RPGs has goten a very bad rap.
