While the op brought up some valid points, I would still /notsign this. Instead of going backwards and making PvP more prohibitive again, the devs just need to address the underlying problems, so that we can move on from the current cluster fluff that PvP is today.

Btw the walker has a working spotlight on the front, a rotating Sat dish in the back corner, and various forward facing guns. No flourishes, but otherwise a decent walker.

I'm going to say it is one of two things. Either A. The art department has discretion to make up scenes for the production of the trailer, or B. Malgus will be returning, and that is a snippet of new content. Im in the B camp.

So what I would like to see in the industry is a new gaming company to do a massive prelaunch research project. One where they poll the entirety of the mmo industry, as well as pseudo mmo games, and co-op games. Find and graph out what people really enjoy(ed), and what the current industry is missing in terms of content, and engaging systems for the player. Then once all that data is collected, average it all out and see where the chips fall. Then break it down so that it can all be encompassed into the new mmo, but in a way that gives production weight to the highest levels of interest first, and then add the lower tiers as productions moves forward. That I feel, would be winning, since it would appeal to the majority of new subscribers for the company, but still offer a complete picture for the player.

I meant like a final fantasy relaunch where they fundementally change the game into a newer version of itself, but without the flaws it has now. So imagine a new star wars mmo but still swtor in spirit.

So far the census seems to be no with some maybe. When I posted this, I was thinking along the lines final fantasy. What if bioware said a new engine. Would you go for it then, or would nothing short of a new mmo be the key?

Would you be willing to accept a full soft reset of the game, in order for it to reach it's potential? ie. You keep your character's names, but fundamentally almost every other aspect of the game is changed. They would incorporate all current content, but classes, skills, crafting, gear, combat, etc would all be updated and revamped. Would you go for that?

I also think the mods use this knowlegde to their advantage. Because if you want a thread to die without outright deleting it, you simply move it to another sub.
