  1. So very true. No game will ever come out again the way Wow did - just as PC quality saw a drastic improvement for the average consumer exactly when broadband internet became the standard in most homes. It was really just a matter of being in the right time at the right place.
  2. This may help you in understanding why it is actually possible to see the difference: http://www.boallen.com/fps-compare.html Ah,I see in the time it took me to find that link someone else posted it. lol
  3. There is a very large difference between the developing team answering vs giving the answer some forum rats want to hear. Time and time again the TOR team have addressed a problem, fixed the problem, and then announced the fix. And time and time again it wasn't what a particular set of forum goers wanted, so they don't acknowledge the fix - they just continue to say there has been "no action taken". I'ts quite stunning actually.. this game has had no more issues than many, and quite fewer than most - but the self entitlment of the vocal minorities is nothing short of mind boggling. I would rather they just shut the forums down completely, permanently.
  4. The Guardian hits a difficult patch in the high 20's. It gets better when you get access to some more skills in the 30s.
  5. There's that word again.. compensate. What is this, a court case?
  6. The game was designed around single role characters. Game was not designed for people to constantly respec. Constant respec leads to min/max cookie cutter builds, which are not intended for this game.
  7. According to my game experience with Star Wars thus far, I don't see any reason to get a free month.
  8. I haven't had a single stability issue ever in this game. Not one.
  9. Sadly, the internet - as great as it is - comes with a seedy underbelly. People can post anything they like with almost no fear of any sort of reprisal. It's not just in the gaming community. Look at any news article that allows comments. Even the most heart-wrenching tragedy can bring out trolls. Progress, indeed.
