  1. I just hit lvl 50 and got my 99 tokens to spend. Considering the lvl cap raise is soon, what would you guys spend your tokens on? I was considering to buy like weapons and focus for me and my padawan and just modding armours with all lvl 49 blues. Or should I go ahead and do an armor set for myself? If matters.. I pretty much only pve and 90% time its soloing. Thanks in advance
  2. Next exactly true. While I will grant that has not been done at the lvl of a "raid dungeon;" randomly produced "dungeons" was not only done before in MMOs, but was done early in their so called evolution. Some one could expand on that idea and run with it. It really gets old people pretending that PvP is the only playstyle that works. If it was, there would be lot more open PvP MMOs. Do we really need (for the 1000th time) compare how many PvP centered MMOs have made it vs how many have failed?
  3. Did I say anything about alts? Your still talking about people hitting 50 in a month. Im talking about a year, by which times there is an expansion worth of new content. Hmmmm a whole year worth of questing and content; then get some new content. You say thats one sided but your any different? Looks to me you think everyone should want the same borefest you do. See there is a difference between us. I do feel that everyone has a right to their type of game. But all the industry has puked out since WoW is same ole rush to lvl cap and grind dailies. There is quit enuff of them out there yet every new MMO people whine for the same thing.
  4. did you get the drama you was obviously after?
  5. yes because only your play-style is valid right? I don't understand the idea of "let us get to 50 quick as possible so can start the endgame, because having to level is boring." Yeah running the same 5 instances very day, over and over, oh and over.. and over.. and over.... that's definitely more exciting then spending few months leveling your character up.
  6. can careless about chat bubbles assuming they have a toggle. What i can about is give us freaking ability to assign colors to different types of chat.
  7. It kind of funny to me, I thought marauder was meant as solely dps builds yet every single group Ive been in I get pushed out front to tank (whats even funnier is at end get told nice job at it.) Im curious if this happens to other marauders a lot? ****Before its said whining about it, just asking if it is common for others too. Nor am I asking for heavy armor.. while I think we need some loving, heavy armor is NOT what we need.
  8. Dont see the point of this... what you linked to is beyond old news. And reason heroengine is to blame??? can you back it up with any evidence or even reasons beyond jumping on an uneductaed bandwagon? Has there been a MMO made that people dint swear its problems was all because of the engine?
  9. What a riot.. in interview its claimed that more people are re-subbing than expected (when thats impossible to know for sure until the final hour as last chance to cancel passes,) then to do such a blatant last ditch effort to entice people into not canceling. Took you years to earn such a trusted reputation BW; and your throwing it away so quickly.
  10. I originally posted this sentiment in reply to comment made in one the many threads on this forum. But after thinking about it; I realized we see similar comments thrown around in just about every single thread.. if dont like it leave... go back to WoW... can I have your stuff... buh bye... you wont be missed... good ridden... So here is a little list of MMOs of the past those very same comments was made in, notice I said past? AW Planet Air Warriors Asherons Call 2 Earth and Beyond Faces of Mankind (ooooo EA Games) Fury Legends of Kesmai Matrix Online Middle Earth Online Mimensis Online Motor City Online (ooooo EA Games) Seed Shadow of Yserbius Space cowboys Star Wars Galaxies--- RiP my fairy tale Tabula Rasa The Sims Online Underlight Warhammer Online (2001-2004 version) (someone help me finish the list.. too tired to research) Now Im sure those of you making such comments think your impressing each other and the devs with your witty comebacks and showing of blind fanboi devotion... but do you think the devs here want to hear their paying customers being told to leave anymore then the devs of any of those MMOs?
  11. This attitude is exactly the same present by the fanbois club in a couple MMOs in the past; lets see if we can remember a few... AW Planet Air Warriors Asherons Call 2 Earth and Beyond Faces of Mankind Fury Legends of Kesmai Matrix Online Middle Earth Online Mimensis Online Motor City Online Seed Shadow of Yserbius Space cowboys Tabula Rasa The Sims Online Underlight Warhammer Online (2001-2004 version) and who can forget... Star Wars Galaxies Im sure I missed a few. MMOs where too many players unsub will fail.. and I have you to thank for the quote----- Sorry but true ya know.. considering a few those on the list belonged to EA, Im sure they love the same attitude in these forums.
  12. Got my BH to lvl 44 and retired because was bored walking thru the content, so I made a sniper instead. Got my sniper to 43 and retired her because felt no challenge, so last night started a inquisitor.. surely this must be the one...
  13. Paying customers are entitled, and when dont get what feel are entitled to, have the right to stop paying. In case you live under a rock and have no clue how things work in reality... we need people sticking around if want the game to be around awhile. Dismissing complaints and pretending everything is perfect is no more healthy to TORs success then the posts bashing it. 7:45 est Saturday night- 9 players on Quesh 11 on Hoth 21 on Alderaan You really think that is acceptable population? Whether want to hear it or not, BW does need to address some the reasons people are throwing fits over. No game will make every player happy... but without enough happy players they wont be a live game much longer.
  14. If they "are Necessary " then can you explain why my EQ1 raiding guild never needed one? Why my EQ2 raiding guild (which ALWAYS had server firsts) never needed one? Neither of the two raiding Why my RoM raiding guild used one for less then a week and decided it caused more drama then helped and went back to not using one.. yet had all endgame raid content on farm status? If you was really as hard core as claim, then you wouldn't need one. If for years guilds had the skills to notice who needed help and how to help them without parses, why is todays "hardcore" less skilled?
  15. No, vet rewards I think can mostly be blamed on SOE. Not 100% sure they was the first but thats where I know them from.
