  1. I can post links and quotes to Vader's feats. Vader has pulled similar things off multiple times. Yes, he can move that fast.
  2. They didn't kill them on their own in the temple. Anakin led the charge. He was at the front. Look, no matter how you slice it. If Obi Wan struggles with Anakin then any other force aiding Anakin tips the scales in his favor. My point is the 501st fought Krell. If they + Anakin engaged Obi Wan that's too much.
  3. Incorrect. There's been many instances where some of the top tier Jedi have been described as having multiple "lightsabers" via it moving so quickly that it creates marrages. Vader does have a feat where he was moving his lightsaber "so fast" that it appeared he had a red barrier around him deflecting blaster bolts "simultaneously" from "All angles." While it's still technically impossible to be in two places at once with enough speed that wouldn't matter. Though, this is Vader and you do have a point about Obi Wan eventually getting tired or the clone troopers advancing their tactics. Not to mention if Obi Wan was taking fire of the clone troopers vader WOULD exploit that. Obi Wan vs Vader + Clones = A dead Obi. Not to mention this is the 501st. The group that has taken down a Jedi Master before. Aka General Krell.
  4. Another example is someone like me. In boxing I'm a switch-hitter. I can go from a normal stance to south paw mid-fight to throw people off. All my life I've been ambidextrous. Getting comfortable fighting left handed and right handed people is useful, especially in competitive fighting scenes, because at some point you will run into someone who is either left handed, can fight both, or is as you alluded to comfortable enough to use it to throw someone off. Now back on the topic of star wars.. Niman is a style that was mostly favored by diplomats (which fits the kind of story as the sage) but it's more than that. It's a style where the lightsaber is secondary and the force is your main weapon. Force attacks are used in tangem of lightsaber strikes. The idea is to use the force to create an opening in order to strike your opponent down. Such as pulling someone into your blade or slicing them and pushing them away before they can retaliate. This definitely fits with the Sorcerer and Sage archetypes. It's not like they can't use a lightsaber. It's just both archetypes are so powerful in their force techniques they use their lightsaber to compliment instead of the other way around.
  5. I never said that they never claimed grouping was a feature. They obviously did. However, they made it clear that story came first and most of their talks had to do with the story. They prided themselves on being the first story driven mmo with a major emphasis on story. Is it that surprising (no I'm not defending it nor am I saying this is a good thing) that if they had to cut corners somewhere it's the group content rather than the story? In the first few weeks, let alone first few months, they BARELY talked about group play. Sure they'd claim more is coming but they spent all their time in interviews discussing the story, future plans involving more story, etc. In fact, as the poster above mentioned, they mostly promised "group content" and "more group content" when interviewers got concerned the focus was going to be so much on the story "raiding" and the like would take a backseat. This change to more story content didn't really surprise many. It was a prediction made by many even before launch.
  6. Except you claimed they stated several times this game was not meant to be "KOTOR 3." Except they outright stated it's meant to be KOTOR 3-4-5-6-7-8 etc.

  8. Except in that same game if you follow the dark side Luke chastises you for it. (It's Jedi Knight Jedi Academy.) In fact in the EU Kyle didn't agree with Luke originally either. He did believe that the force is just "Powers" he followed the potentium theory (which is a theory that was debunked in the lore.) It led to him falling and realizing it's a mistake.
  9. This is true for any mmo past a year. No mmo, short of WoW, has been gaining players at a steady or even a semi-steady rate past six months. WoW, the biggest and most successful mmo, is bleeding players at this point as well. The fact that it's the second most profitable mmo in the U.S. is actually rather surprising. If you expect SWTOR to retain most of the people who enter? It doesn't matter if there's ops, heroics, group activities, or the easter bunny. Fact is SWTOR is five years old. Server merges are normal for an mmo at this stage. WoW will be having some soon as well.
  10. Truth is it doesn't matter much how they handle the game. It's the only star wars mmo on the market and anyone who wants to "live" in the world of "star wars" has one option. That's moving here. Until a new star wars mmo comes out this one is going nowhere. Thing is there's no new star wars mmo coming out and there won't be for a very very long time.
  11. The problem with this article is it isn't written by the star wars team. After the quoted financial report the article goes on to make a list of accusations and claims without any sources or evidence to back up said claims other than the writer of the article being an analysis and is telling us so. The person writing the article has another problem as well, it's clear the host of the article is unhappy with the idea of episodic content and the direction the game is going which leads to some bias. If you're going to analyze something you need sources, facts, statistics, and to remove bias. Here's the deal, SWTOR is still one of EA's most profitable products. In the end, speculation aside, it's doing well. It would be no different than me telling you.. while the water levels haven't risen as they were predicted to do so by this time due to the ice caps melting we have seen a sweeping change in our environment. As someone who studies the environment and geo physics I can tell you that due to environmental change this is a terrible sign. The ice caps are still melting at an alarming rate and we're sure to see massive flooding of our land in the near future while no one does anything to address it. Same difference. No facts, no evidence, just me telling you that you should trust me due to my credentials and study history. Expecting you to take my experience and word on the subject.
  12. I've read almost all the star wars novels and I don't re-call the whole "Grey is perfect." angle. Luke Skywalker, the most powerful Jedi, always took a strong stance against the dark.
  13. Except Advent addresses that. No game of chess can be won without pawns. Sometimes in chess the pawn can be crucial in securing victory. I've achieved countless checkmates with the proper positioning and utilization of pawns. Han Solo setting up Luke's shot is no different than correct pawn placement in the game of chess. Luke is a far more important piece in terms of the individual whole. If you want to use the chess analogy in the second death star. The rebels were able to blow up the second death star because the rebels queen piece (Luke) had the Empire side's "King" in check.
  14. Remember, the Eternal Empire has Sun Generators. Generators that are powered by mini suns. It is very possible they do have the power to remain cloaked.

  16. Look how much hypercates sell for. They've always sold a ton. The people with billions of credits buy them like hotcakes. Everyday people post threads saying "I quit because I opened three hypercrates to get X item." Followed by people saying "Stop opening hypercrates to get one item. Buy a hypercarte, sell it, and get the item." The secret? Selling hypercrates. They go for 20-30 million each.
  17. His force storm was capable of annihilating entire starfleets and was capable of destroying the "surface" of a world. This means, unlike the death star, he can't blow up or shatter a planet. He can eliminate it of all life with his storms.
  18. This. In fact at one point when you tell him the things Valkorion has done as vitiate his response is "Well, he's always been good to us." This means he kind of does believe you but doesn't care because he's been a benevolent ruler to his people.

  20. I will say a few things. Sidious could destroy entire planets without long drawn out rituals. He can create wormholes that could ravage the entire surface off worlds in terms of raw power. A force storm wormhole in nihilus direction would be game ending. Not to mention Sidious was described, post return, to be a living blackhole. It's possible, and very likely, due to his situation that he too was a wound in the force. Still, yes not many can stand before Nihilus.
  21. It really depends. Obi Wan wasn't more powerful than Anakin. They were pretty close to each other's levels which presented a fight that could go either way. Also I want to point out that Windu and Yoda were both above Anakin's level.

  23. Again, as mentioned before, it's an upgrade from what we had in SOR.
  24. Sadly, unless this changes, in the new canon there are no sith force spirits. The bane appearance is stated to be an illusion. Merely a vision of Yoda's.
