Was will ein newbie denn noch? Insofern...weiter so Laraan, Kisoto etc. LG, Minabi

How to handle Bombers: mini guide
SiaSinblade replied to adventurethis's topic in Galactic Starfighter
One Bomber is easy to take down. The "trouble" with Bombers is that their power grows incredibly by just adding another one. Not to mention if you have three. Try evicting 3 Bombers from a Satellite or any position really. And the fact that their effectiveness does not depend on player skill nearly as much as with other craft. You drop a mine, it does the work for you. That's not to say that there aren't people who fly Bombers better than others and effectiveness increases, obviously, but at the basic level, that's what it is. But eh. it's the FOV craft now. In a decent team, Bombers still can be cracked. More challenge, more fun. -

-.- TS und geschwader muss her. XD

/salute Minabi

Lack of communication is unprofessional
SiaSinblade replied to Demorgoth's topic in General Discussion
My dear, dear, angry Forum-Goer. I have suffered through this thing that is called the General Forum with a host of whiners and complainers from the very first day it was created. I have raged, I have insulted, I have been insulted and been raged at. Your little jab is completely pointless and meaningless. There is nothing undermining about my post. My post states a subjective opinion about the state of these forums and the state of the world in general. If you can't deal with that, or think I am wrong, how about you try to present a good case for your side? Or just dispute my theory. Instead of trying to support your side of things with a silly little attack on my person? All you have done is prove me right in my theory. Enjoy your little hissy-fit. -

The world is in such a sad...sad state. That's all I can think of when reading this thread. -
So what did BW get RIGHT? Hard to tell.
SiaSinblade replied to FatherJeffrey's topic in General Discussion
Most of us are. We are playing and having fun while fully expecting BW to fix the issues that need fixing and improve the systems already there. Is that evil? -
So what did BW get RIGHT? Hard to tell.
SiaSinblade replied to FatherJeffrey's topic in General Discussion
To save us. You know...the people who, in their neverending silliness and idiocy actually enjoy the game and think it is good and can become great. Because we are clearly wrong and he needs to guide us to the light, the light only he and his enlightened can see. Us, lesser beings are too blind to see, that past our enjoyment of the game, lurks an evil of unspeakable magnitude: "FUN IN A GAME THE OP DOES NOT APPROVE OF!" -

You mean facts like the one you posted in the other thread? That WoW had no major bugs at launch? Yeah...I'll take your facts with a truckload of salt. -
Is this the most casual friendly MMO of all time?
SiaSinblade replied to sanzuu's topic in General Discussion
In MMO Land..."There can be only one!" Apparently. -
SIGH - Do Dev's ever learn why most MMO's failed?
SiaSinblade replied to FatherJeffrey's topic in General Discussion
Loot Bug Impossible to create an account "bug" World Server Crashes "bug" Falling through the world and being stuck there "bug" Just 4...I can name more, but I'd have to think back to that unholy time. I'm glad I stuck around and gave Blizz the benefit of the doubt to fix these things... -

This sentence is also in the dictionary under: "How to destroy your credibility in one sentence." -.- -
Metacritic user reviews at 5.4 rating.

Yes...because this needed another thread...-.- -

"Clunky" is the new chic term to use when you want to sound like you are a pro-gamer. Controls are "clunky" UI is "clunky" Combat feels "clunky". No one has yet told me what they mean when they say it. If I were the person in charge of evaluating testing/play feedback I'd probably forbid the use of the word. XD -
So it become the worst release in modern MMO time.
SiaSinblade replied to Mamono's topic in General Discussion
I agree with this. I also think BW should approach things in a similar manner. Added free time is a good pacifier. Ahem. XD -

I didn't criticise the complaint. I criticised the type of complaint along with the armchair developer remedy that people keep spouting here, claiming that it would be so easy to fix things. And a smart customer knows what is to be expected. And in the MMO market space, YOU as a customer, should have been aware of the situation. Instead, you are asking for something that is totally unrealistic. It's like going to a car dealership, ordering a car and complaining loudly that you have to wait for several weeks for it to be delievered, despite knowing that it has to be assembled, delivered and checked before it can be handed to you. -

Knowing that I have no actual source for volume, traffic, capacity, total number of users, projected number of users, system statistics and many more factors. If you are an IT Project Manager, you should be smarter than just make assumptions on a situation on which you have no realiable data whatsoever. -

Customers with no sense of reality only serve to destroy great possibilities. -

Riiiiiiight. Because being happy with a current generation MMO with evolutions in the right places (for me and others), is exactly the same as being happy with a Commodore 64 and never wanting more. Riiiiiiight. Yeah. Your logic is astounding. I defer to your wisdom, ultimate knower-of-things. -

Question....what is wrong with being happy with a product? It's a game. Not Medical Research. -

I'm pretty sure AE is relatively happy with the massive amount of people clogging up the servers. Yup. AE likes that. WB, too.
