What I'll be enjoying is, when the population WOULD be spread out among more servers many of the same people would likely come running to the forums complaining that there are not enough people on the servers. It's hilarious.

I'm pretty sure that that is what they are doing in the first place. Keep the servers locked down to a lower cap before full launch. Blow the cap off when full launch happens so that players who did not pre-order still have a chance to join their buddies on the higher population servers. Makes sense to me anyway. But who knows.

I understand your point, having been a soldier myself. But from a Jedi point of view, saving their lives is a "good" deed. Sending them back to almost certain doom is dark. The Force is not political in nature. Spare a life or condemn a life. That's the basic choice. Here. There are some other dark/light choices in the game I find utterly bewildering though.

MetaCritic user reviews.....yeah... It didn't occur to you that the majority of these people ONLY rated TOR...so they made an account to go to this page to write their opinon about it. It's the same as someone writing it down in his bloog, except there they get the satisfaction of seeing a red little number. Here's the deal. TOR is not the end all and be all of games. People will hate it. People will love it. That's their choice and you should make your own based on your own experiences or, if you don't want to spend money, at least wait for the professional review consensus. While pro reviewers are usually a bunch of sorry journalists, too, you can at least get a somewhat clearer picture of what you can expect. I never get why people are so ready to let OTHER people decide what they want to enjoy.

Armchair developers...gotta love them. It's not like a gazillion people still would have wanted to get on the full servers because friends, guilds, whathaveyou were on those, right? It's not like people complained like crazy when the first servers showed at full. They OBVIOUSLY wouldn't have complained if the servers had shown as full even sooner. No...no way. People on this forum are responsible and rational. But it's always amusing to read when people think they know EXACTLY how to handle an MMO launch. Obviously, people with no Metrics, no user data, no statistical data and no experience have a much better grasp on the actual situation than the guys at BW right now. And obviously, people will label me a fangirl for posting this. But hey...rational, responsible people, remember? XD

Yes, I am writing this for you people, who feel they have been cheated, lied to, feel otherwise entitled to something that they are not getting or are just generally miserable beings. 1) I PAID FOR EARLY ACCESS!!!!!!!??!?!?!?! Yes. Yes indeed you did. However, you were never guaranteed a certain number of days. In all actuality, what you were promised, is UP TO 5 DAYS EARLY! Now, I know math is hard, but let's go through this together: Today is the 13th. Official Launch is on the 20th. That means there are 7 days worth of Early Access at this point. That means that BioWare has 6 days left to get you into the game WITHOUT BREAKING THEIR PROMISE. And no, just because you have, in your incredible wisdom, experience and godliness, decided to call Early Access a marketing ploy and tout today as the actual Launch, you do NOT change the fact that the above is the situation as it stands. Think about it long and hard. I PAID EXTRA FOR EARLY ACCESS!!!!?!?!?! No, no in fact you did not. That is, if you were the reasonable kind of person who ordered from a reputable source and didn't go into some back alley and make a deal with a moustache-touting guy in the back of a van. In any other case, you were billed a Pre-Order amount which is SUBTRACTED from the amount you have to pay on launch day. Get the logic? You pay the SAME amount as if you had purchased on launch day. No extra fee! Wheeeee! STAGGERED LAUNCH IS UNFAIR!!!?!?!? I am sorry you feel like that. Truly, I am. But that doesn't make it unfair. Particularly because it has been known since the beginning of time. I suppose it's no use pointing out the fact that BioWare is attempting to make the whole experience more enjoyable for you? No? Didn't think so. Maybe then you will accept that fewer crashes, less lag and less problems will keep OTHER people happy, thus retaining them as customers, in turn generating profit, in turn keeping the game alive and well and updated...for YOU! No? Yeah, didn't think so. Maybe you'll just accept you are just jealous of people playing the game and can't bear to accept the fact that some people will get to enjoy it before you? I'm no expert Network Engineer, but do you think they might have a staggered deployment of server along with the staggered deployment of players? Crazy idea, I know. I am at work. I received mz Pre-Order mail in the first batch. I cannot do anything with it. Am I upset about that? No. Will my name choices be gone when I finally log in? Probably. Do I blame BioWare for that? Not effin likely. Kids these days, honestly.
