  1. I was thinking the same thing, and thats why I rolled Sith. Ohwell...
  2. Ill say it again, a simple ticket system like they have at your local Deli so people can track when they get in instead of the guessing would have created a 0 drama situation. How did I (a simple man) figure this out completely on my own, but a company loaded with very smart people that have doctor level degrees could not? A bit embarrasing for them imo. Its all they had to do, a simple ticket system...so simple.
  3. That brings to mind a crazy thing that has happened to this industry. As Publishers put more and more pressure on the Devs to make release dates games are releasing in more and more buggy forms, to the point where almost every game released is basically a beta that we as customers have to deal with. Now heres the messed up part, lets say a company releases a car where the brakes just stop working randomly. When that happens there is an outrage and the company pays for there mistake. When game companies cause customers grief, or release products that are half broken, the customers themselves instead of banding together attack eachother and defend the company unlike in any other industry. A bit OT, but something I think should become a social aware issue in this industry.
  4. The Deli at Wal-Mart is smart enough to have a numbered ticket system so everyone can see there number and count down there turn. A very very simple system like this would have been a million times better in every way imaginable than this guessing game. There are 2 people on my vent playing, and about 20 in another channel bitter they didnt get in, bored because they want to play, with no clue as to when they get in. Its not the end of the world, and a staggered release is actually a smart thing to do, but if they had a ticket system it would be even smarter. Ohwell, maybe the next company that releases an MMO will get it right. Bioware was close though, props I guess...
  5. Actually no, so far its been a complete disaster, I got up at the ungodly hour of 3 a.m PST and refreshed my browser till 5 a.m. then feeling defeated and sad I went to bed thinking SURELY!!! when I wake up there will be an invite in my box, got up at 4, no invite. I am not upset about the way they are doing things, actually I think its smart, Im just upset about my horrible luck of not getting to be a beta tester, and now this Basically what I am saying is the servers working, or running good so far, are completely not relavent at all to most of the players because we cant even play yet.
